Sam The Concrete Man Reviews 

We used Sam the Concrete Man in March 26 to replace some cracked sections of our large driveway. They were able to do the work while we were on vacation. They gave us several reasons why the old concrete was cracked and said they would replace with new concrete. While we were gone we received a text explaining that our concrete was poured to 5” instead of the usual 4” and we had the option to pour the new slabs at 4” the price quoted and they would just use extra base material to fill it in for 900 bucks or pour it at 5” for 3k more. We didn’t want substandard concrete so we went with the 5”. When we got home all looked good. Approximately 2 months later I noticed that the cracks were back in 3 of the sections. We contacted Joey and told him. He came out and looked at it. Then we were put on hold for several weeks before we found out there was some kind of insurance inspection started and we had to wait for their findings. That was more than strange. Warranty is not insurance. I contacted Joey again and he said the owner was going to call. I missed his call but he left a message that came across all wrong. Trying to say he pulled some survey that says we have terrible soil here. I’m sure that’s why they dug tons of rock out when building our pool 🙄. I’m thinking if that were so as concrete experts would they had offered to pour it at 4” instead of 5”? Also don’t experts pull these surveys before they pour to avoid these issues or only afterwards to defend them not backing the warranty? We are waiting to hear back from the owner, I now fear it will be an excuse duck and cover call. If they do not remedy this situation this review will be only the tip of the iceberg. Until then I would not recommend any company that doesn’t honor their warranty.

This company spun an ad across our Facebook dashboard promising quality workmanship, communication and customer care.
We attempted to hire this company but unfortunately all we received were silly juvenile telephone crank calls Hang Ups and run around in circles..
Anyone would be a fool to remotely considering hiring this joke of an Internet presence

They did a great job replacing the busted up half of our driveway. Efficient. Great looking work. I cannot say enough, though, about the crew. Friendly, efficient just really great bunch. Thanks guys. It was good to meet you.

Sam the concrete man did a spectacular job on my front and backyard. Anna, Fermin, and his crew were very nice and professional. They walked me through the process, and were always available if I needed them. I would highly recommend them, and I can't wait to call them for my next project. They are very reasonable, and my project turned out spectacular. I was so so pleased with the outcome!!!

My experience with Sam concrete was one of the worst in terms of home improvement. They replaced my driveway that degraded (scaling) about 8 months later that they agreed to replace. In this they replaced sections and aside from my now multi colored driveway they BLEW the concrete dust even as OSHA "strictly prohibits" dry sweeping let alone blowing it and it made a mess in our yard no to mention the fact this dust is cancerous do to silica in it... owner was less than responsive aside from asking my to NOT report to OSHA. I have video on the blowing.

Just pick another business. Unprofessional. No corporate backing. Contacted HQ multiple times with no acknowledgement from anyone. Just an agitated email from the franchisee that we were bothering corporate.

Our walkway cracked in 6 months.

Poor time management. Sloppy - concrete splash on or home that was not cleaned. Discards dumped on our neighbor property. Unclean edges. Front step not "squared". Franchise took payment and considered work complete after we tried to resolve with him. Then a crack. He finally showed up unannounced on our property and did not bother to knock on the door- we were home. Did not want the hassle.

I had my driveway removed and replaced double wide around 5 or 6 months ago by Sam the Concrete Man. I was more than pleased with the professionalism and the finished product. I would highly recommend them for any of your concrete needs. Steward was there every day directing the workers. A plus in my opinion.

Exceeded expectations. Highly Recommended. Just concluded our business with this firm and could not be happier with the service, effort, and the results. The crew was professional, personable, and conscientious. The cost was appropriate for the work quality performed and the prompt completion was surprising. Our hilltop home in Eustis was built in the late 1980s with a 125' inclined concrete driveway. The original driveway was cracking and beginning to sink in places. We contacted numerous companies in order to obtain a solution. Three of those companies proposed pumping lifting foam into the sunken areas and patching the cracks from above. The rest proposed replacing part or all of the driveway. What astonished us was some of the concrete companies said we either did not need a permit or that we could pull the permit ourselves. Being retired Realtors, we knew this was false or more trouble than we wanted. When the proposals came to us, we discovered the price to lift and repair the driveway was as much or more than poring a new concrete driveway. Before contracting the job, I had many questions. Each company I called, I either got voicemail or no answer. When I called Sam the Concrete Man, I got a real person. This proved to be valuable as we proceeded. Sam the Concrete Man's price for an entirely new driveway was equal to two of the companies who wanted to lift the broken pieces. They said they would handle the permits, inspections and offered a warranty. Interestingly enough, there was no guarantee offered from the lifting companies as spelled out clearly on their contract.

We awarded the contract to Sam the Contact Man hoping all would go well. It took them two weeks to obtain the necessary permits from the City of Eustis. This didn't surprise us as Lake County is the worst when it comes to these issues. Once the permits were obtained the work began. I can't say enough good things about their employees. They started work every day at 7 AM and worked until dark. They handled the demolition of the old concrete the first day. The second and third day was filling, leveling and tamping the underlying ground between the forms. On the fourth day, they pumped and smoothed the new concrete. What we have now is a beautiful new driveway that we are very pleased with. Our neighbors have complimented us on our new driveway and have asked us who did the work? We tell them Sam the Concrete Man in Orlando. They gave us the best price, did the best work and did everything just as they said they would.

If I could have given these guys zero stars I would have.

Had high hopes of these guys doing my courtyard and driveway.
They quoted me $9700 for a concrete pad installed with Travertine pavers on top.
I paid separately for the pavers myself

The day before they were to start they call to tell me the price was now $13200

Said they didn’t account for the concrete.

Can you believe that, a concrete company that in their quote didn’t include the concrete

Stay away from these guys.

The crew replaced my driveway in two days. It is beautiful. Nick B. was my estimator. After looking at several concrete contractors, I decided on Sam the Contract Man to do the job. The estimate was reasonable. Nick appeared each day to insure the job was getting done satisfactorily. Henry, the crew lead, was also instrumental in evaluating additional work which needed to be done. I couldn't be more pleased. Give those guys a raise...

Damages were caused by the Technicians at “Sam The Concrete Man” located in the Trevose, Pa. Bucks County Franchise
while using their equipment. The Jackhammer cracked our Bay Window around the bottom of the frame, the Lawn was torn up and we had to purchase sod to replace the destruction. The Wood placed to pour cement for our step is still embedded in the walkway, a shadow of the pieces remain, bonding came apart, our driveway was never cleaned from the equipment going up and down and is still embedded in the asphalt. A line that was created for effect is deteriorating, leaving stone and rock underneath visibly peeling daily. Buyer Beware! I Do Not recommend this company.

The quality of work was very bad. There were many holes on the second day after they finished the work. After I complained, they finally filled the holes. Then I found the corners are broken. I again complained about the corner and sent a picture of the broken corners to Kevin. Sam's concrete did not fix the corners. They also damaged my grass.
