Last year we hired from another company and were very disappointed with the quality of the vehicle and service we received. This year, we decided to pay a bit more, and use Road Bear. It was worth every extra pound (we are from the UK). Everything from the initial induction, to the quality of the van, the staff, and the drop off, exceeded expectations. We did have one problem wirh a water leak, but an 0830am call soon had me speaking with a real person, and a repair man reached us at our campsite by 1430, with minimal disruption to our day. We covered over 2000 miles in 3 weeks (so there was a mileage charge), but enjoyed the whole experience and saw some.great sights.

Be careful. You must check very detail on the contract. We booked unlimited mileage during check-in and were charged every mile by check-out, because the staff did not fill out the correct field on the contract. Pay very close attention. Especially if you are from abroad.

Great people / very good service

Pick up in Denver. Very unfriendly, needed to sign lots of papers without having seen the RV. No welcome, almost no explanation of the RV.
I was made aware of the rules they have, nobody seems to care about me as a customer.
The RV was not clean and I had to do the job.
I will not go there again.
When bringing the RV back, we cleaned it from the outside and inside perfectly. It was much more clean when we gave it back than when we received it. Nobody took notice. No comment. Nothing like, how was your holiday. Nothing.
It was agreed that they bring us to the airport. After signing all papers they told we nee to wait another 1.5 hours. We took an Uber for 130 Dollars instead.
The location itself is somewere in business disctrict, old, not even paved envimonment, nothing you would want to got to

The staff was basically friendly and committed, but you had to wait sometimes or you were not noticed (at the drop off the branch manager sat in the office and no one else was there). The instruction at the pick up was very short and innovations compared to the previous models were not explained.

The Road Bear RV was in excellent condition. It was clean and equipped with the things I needed. I felt very comfortable with the RV upon pickup. The customer service representative was helpful with walking my husband and I through the RV and sharing with us the things we needed to know. Get the unlimited generator use especially in the summer. We used it a lot more than expected because the back of the RV takes a while to cool off. The only thing I would add next time is the WI-FI so we could use the TV. I would definitely rent again from Road Bear.

Great experience

Tl;dr - Denver site. Not worth the extra pricing over the cheaper RV rentals.
We called to get description of two different RV types and the information we got was inaccurate which negatively impacted out trip.
When we rented the RV, the CO alarm started beeping. Staff said it was all OK and was fixed by opening the window. We then had it randomly beep for days until we got it fixed.
Fridge also had issues that would make it start beeping randomly and wake us up. Couldn't be fixed.
Leak of black water meant we had disgusting sewage dripping all the time which is pretty horrible when people in nearby sites notice.
The right side mirror wouldn't stay straight and I had to fix it. Hot air from the engine kept coming into driver side and I fixed that as well.

I understand we rented during a busy season but we paid more to get a newer, better maintained RV and we did not get it. Unfortunate.

The whole experience from reserving the RV online to checking out the RV to turning the RV in was 100% positive.

The staff was amazing. The RV was clean and ready to go. Everything worked flawlessly.

We would rent from Road Bear again in a heartbeat. 😎

The service done by the Roadbear Team on site was perfect. Check in and check out were seamless and easy. The team was great and even small changes in requirements were done instantly and fair.

The RVs had some small issues (generator did nor work well sometimes and in one of our two rental RVs the heating did not work (which was only a problem one night when we rested in about 3000 m altitude). Equippment in RVs was great and nothing missed (except a broom in one of the cars - no problem, we shared ;-)).

Location was great as well. We really appreciated the Roadbear assistance when we had a flat tire. Even on Sundy they managed to fix it within 2 hours (in a remote place). Our trip in general was phantastic and I vcan only recommend to explore the Rockies and trust in Roadbaer.

Very clean and like new condition. Easy pickup and drop off. I would rent from them again.

They have a great service team and the try to find solution in the best way for the costumer. I realy appreciate this.
