New Tent
The tent I ordered arrived the following day. I have not yet used it but have unpacked it and everything seems to be present and correct. The price was the lowest available on my internet search and delivery was free.

Great Service But Shockingly Bad Courier
Good company to deal with. The products are well priced and the people have been very helpful when needed.
However, their chosen carrier (FedEx) are absolutely dreadful and it is a bit of a lottery as to when your delivery is going to turn up plus FedEx claim to have attempted a delivery when they have done nothing of the sort.

Shame Trustpilot doesn't allow no stars!
We spoke to someone on the phone who was helpful, about a 2 man backpacking tent and so we went down to the shop. We were met by the manager and we asked if we could see the tent erected. He said no because it would take 20 minutes to put up and in any case they have that policy because it can interfere with other customers. We pointed out that it was an easy erect tent and officially can be erected in 5mins and also there wasn’t any other customer in the shop at the time. Still No! So we asked if we could see the tent as packed, which is important for a backpacking tent to see how it would fit into a rucksack. He said that it was in the warehouse just up the road. So, could it be brought round to the shop? No! It wasn’t just the negative responses, it was the attitude of the manager which was abrupt, inflexible and thoroughly unhelpful.

As explained both over the phone and again in store, we unfortunately do not offer a tent pitching-on-demand service. As a small warehouse-based retailer, we simply don’t have the space or staffing available to erect display tents for individual customer visits, particularly during busy periods. While some smaller backpacking tents can be pitched relatively quickly, the process still requires staff time and showroom space which we have to manage carefully.
We do always try to be upfront about this policy before customers travel to see us, so we’re sorry if there was any misunderstanding on this occasion.
