I visited NCF in the Rugby store and ordered my sofa with Noel, who was extremely helpful and made the experience really positive.

Unfortunately, the delivery and aftercare have been a completely different experience. My sofa was delivered on 26 September, and the two delivery men struggled to get it into my house and eventually needed help from my partner. Once they had unpacked and assembled it, I realised that I had been sent the wrong sofa configuration. I ordered a RHF sofa but was delivered a LHF sofa.

The delivery men said I could refuse the delivery, but after seeing how difficult it was to get the sofa into the house, I didn’t want to put them through trying to get it back out and risk causing further scratches or damage to my walls.

I emailed NCF customer service on the same day as delivery to explain the situation, but I still haven’t received a response.

I’m extremely disappointed, especially after spending a significant amount of money on the sofa. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I would expect NCF to at least respond to a customer and offer a solution. I shouldn’t have to resort to leaving a public review just to get someone to acknowledge my complaint.

Hopefully someone will see this review and finally get in touch to resolve the issue. At the very least, I would expect an explanation and for them to consider an appropriate goodwill gesture/compensation for the inconvenience caused.

The only positive I can give is to Noel, who was very helpful when I originally placed the order. Unfortunately, the customer service since then has been extremely disappointing.

Brilliant experience with Aaron in Paisley. My partner and I walked in, unsure of the couch to get. Aaron in Paisley came up to us, was incredibly helpful, explained our options and then once we had decided, talked us through the process and even when we changed our minds at the end, he was completely understanding and helped us through. Amazing service and would strongly recommend.
