Went to test drive a car and part-ex my car. Test drove the car, agreed on a part-ex price, asked if the stone chips on the bonnet could be touched up and was assured they would be. Went to do the handover, the guy that sold me the car asked me if l needed help and didn't realise we had a handover? Gave me the keys to check the car once he realised who I was. The car was a mess, the stone chips had been touched in with a block colour white and not pearlescent. I complained that it looked really bad. The car was taken to be rectified. 30 mins later the car bonnet had been rectified, but I could see scratches (white pearlescent under strong sunlight isn't easy to notice blemishes and scratches ) I was told there where none, even though I disputed this. I wasn't happy, but thought, I'll t-cut them out. Did the documents, handed the keys, no explanation of how everything works, bye, see you later sort of culture. Placing my new mats I noticed a front trye seemed very low, asked for it to be checked before I got on the motorway. Tyre didn't have a slow punture, but did need air. Went to drive away and needed the satnav that should work but didn't work, went back to the ask why? Was told after the car was taken back to the workshop and waiting another 20 minutes or so that the SD card was missing, they didn't know where it was, and they needed to seek guidance on what to do.... Either send me out and SD card or send me to my local dealer in York. When I demanded this in writing, saying that I was really quite miffed at how many things hadn't been checked on the vehicle before handover, so wanted what they owed me in writing, minutes later a workshop guy asks for my keys and installed the navigation SD card. After the bank holiday, and not happy with the scratches on my bonnet not coming out, I went to a local car sprayer to ask his opinion? His question was, did Stevie Wonder do this? He told me pearlescent paint cannot be touched up, it looked like a dogs dinner, and I've now had to book my car in for a whole bonnet respray at a cost of £500. Avoid this company like the plague. They just want to buy quick and sell quick!!!
We’ve just bought a car from Motorpoint Castleford and honestly, it was the most hassle-free and straightforward car purchase we’ve ever made.
Abs handled the sale brilliantly from start to finish. He was transparent, quick, empathetic to our situation, and never made us feel pressured. Most importantly, he focused on helping us buy the car we actually wanted rather than trying to push us into anything that didn’t suit.
The whole process was clear, efficient and genuinely easy. Motorpoint’s business model deserves credit, but the real standout was Abs himself: effortless style, real competence and obvious expertise. We felt like we were in very good hands throughout.
We also really appreciated the extras included with the car, including a free set of mats and the interior/exterior coating.
As soon as we hear that any family or friends are looking for a car, we’ll be sending them straight to Abs at Motorpoint Castleford. Highly recommended.

Good experience overall but I felt a little pushed with them trying to get me to take out there warranty. I did think i got a good part exchange price which I was happy with. Wish they had a 14 day return policy as I am not sure i chose the right car.

The. Second time pick up had been arranged, I got a call at 4 pm to say the car wouldn’t be ready again, eventually the third attempt was good, the issues rectified, and a tank of petrol as an apology.just didn’t get off to a good start .

Not pushy listened to what we had to say and wanted and met all our requirements. Everything went smoothly from start to finish the salesman we dealt with was excellent and kept in touch after the sale to make sure everything was still ok.

I collected my new mini from Derby, but it was transferred from Castleford. Kareem at Castleford (even though never seen him face-to-face) as been brilliant all tje way through the process.
