Very pleased with the whole experience of buying prescriptions sunglasses from IOLLA. The assistant in the Bruntsfield store in Edinburgh gave great advice and took her time over the fitting for the varifocal lenses. The product itself looks fantastic and has been a revelation this summer. I can go out on bright sunny days, see everything sharply again and also read a book.

Happy with my glasses which were high prescription, thin lenses, varifocals. much cheaper than my usual places (Boots or Specsavers). The girl who did my eyemeasuring seemed very competent and friendly. Overall a great service and price

Came in to see if I could get a paid of clip-on sunglasses for my varifocals. Varifocals are already so expensive - and to get varifocal sunglasses is beyond my budget. Mine are from another shop, but I know IOLLA have a very wide range of glasses shapes. The assistant was so helpful. took both my pairs of glasses and found a set of clip-on lenses for each pair, though one looked a bit naff. The other pair look perfect though, and they work really well. I really like the clarity of the clip-on lenses, and the way they fold into a tiny pouch - very handy for outdoor pursuits in Scotland where you get 4 seasons of weather in one day. £50 very well spent!

Great variety and range of modern styled spectacles and sunglasses. Lovely stores with helpful staff and prompt service. Communication updating you on your product and availability to collect is excellent. For the cost, this service is unparalleled, I’m getting 2 pairs of great m, contemporary looking frames/glasses and a pair of prescription sunglasses for the same price as blander styles of one of each from other opticians. 👌🏻

Great experience with it all, and much more affordable and accessible than the other big shops out there. Would definitely recommend to as many people as I can and have already had lot of people asking where I bought my glasses.

My experience with IOLLA (1313 Argyle street) was Excellent. I have been shopping at IOLLA for a few years now. The staff are very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They are always happy to help and nothing is a bother to them. I am very undecided person 😂 but the staff are very patient with me and always advise me what suits me. Thank you ☺️ x

I can't recommned Iolla enough! Great choices of loads of styles to pick from. The service in the Richmond shop was great - very personal and friendly. Both my frames and lens were a fraction of the cost from the high-street Opticians that only stock known designers...of which you pay a HUGE mark-up! Honestly, save your self the trouble...and the £££ and visit Iolla!

When I went to collect the order, the reading glasses were made in sunglasses lenses instead of clear glasses. That all ok, mistakes happen but I was kept waiting for about 15 mins before the supervisor came. And that's where it all went a bit pear shaped. She gave me good news that the glasses can be fixed for me 'free of cost'. It felt like they were doing me a favour which I found very strange. So I said what exactly do you mean and again there was no apology, no appreciation of waiting time, nor that I waited for my glasses, made the effort to back in the store etc. Then I asked when will I get my glasses and she told me that it could be upto 12 days - again no offer to help further. I ended up cancelling my order which is shame since I am a long standing customer of Iolla.

Fantastic customer service and speedy service. I personally think it is great that IOLLA does lens thinning at no extra cost. I am tired of being punished for having a stronger prescription! IOLLA makes quality glasses at a fraction of the price of competitors. Will definitely be getting more going forward!

I have bought numerous pairs of glasses from Iolla now and have gifted a pair to my son when he visited from Toronto
I just would not buy my glasses from anywhere else
