The wood was very easy to order and the staff were very helpful

The staff are always polite, knowledgeable and helpful. We are only doing some small DIY projects at home, so not the biggest orders, but get good service each time.

Fast, reliable and efficient service all round. I ordered one day, and delivered the next at a convenient time to myself. The delivery driver asked exactly where I would like the product placing in my garden. All round A+++ service.

Delivery of topsoil poor in quality (eg contained piece of metal pipe). Whilst the delivery driver was pleasant he arrived without warning and no contact from branch to arrange delivery.

The delivery staff were excellent. We were not in but they carefully placed the bags of soil exactly where we had indicated. They even folded up and put safe the cardboard I had used to indicate the place.

Delivered on time, considerately and well organized

I had an excellent experience with this store I placed an order online whitch I thought was for delivery but turned out I was for collection. I emailed the manager to say there was a mistake and I was unable to collect and would it be possible for it to be delivered. The manager emailed me back very quickly to say yes that wouldn't be a problem and it was delivered a few days later thank you so much excellent customer service. 😀

Excellent service all round. Driver was spot on and called me on the way. Then dropped rebar on my drive whilst I was at work.

The fence panel was delivered by a very helpful man.

Received email saying my online order was picked and ready....but it wasn't. Arrived and spoke to a very pleasant lady; she had to search for my order then printed a sheet off to take to the yard. Chap in the yard looked at it and said something on the lines of 'what's this and where did you get it?' I explained and he went back into the shop to speak to the pleasant lady. When he came out he then picked my order. Not a very joined up system!

Product was as described, prompt delivery and delivery driver really helpful and took his time and make sure that we were happy.

This was my first visit to Huws Gray York and, unfortunately, an item that showed as being in stock wasn’t available. However, the staff searched the warehouse and, when they couldn't find it, arranged for it to be delivered to me instead.When the wrong product arrived, a replacement was dispatched immediately.Although I was disappointed that the items weren't initially available, I have to give a huge thank you to Lisa (and the two drivers), who went above and beyond to make sure I received the products I needed the very same day.I rarely leave reviews, but Lisa was so helpful that I felt it was deserved. Thanks to her outstanding customer service, I was able to complete my roof on time.
