We are fortunate to have such wonderful teachers at Fusion Academy. They truly see my teenager as an individual and tailor their approach to her unique learning needs. The directors are also incredibly supportive, responsive, and collaborative, which makes a huge difference as a parent.

We feel genuinely supported as a family, and it’s clear that the school prioritizes both academic growth and emotional well-being. I’m grateful for the care, flexibility, and dedication the team brings to my child’s learning experience.

Coming out of elementary school, we made the choice to send our daughter to private school for the middle school years. The school we originally enrolled her in had lots of promise, but things didn’t turn out as had hoped. As the first semester of 6th grade turned to second semester, we were struggling with daily school refusal. A change was needed.

And that’s when we found Fusion.

Now in 8th grade, our kid is excited to come to school every day. She’s socially engaged in campus life and academically thriving. Coming out of some challenging times, the team at Fusion Academy San Mateo has changed the path of our child’s future.

She came home on day 1 saying that she felt safe and welcomed buy the other students, and staff. She feels like she if finally able to learn and grow.

im looking for support for my son with ADHD and Autism, he had 5 trial 1-on-1 session, however, both teachers could not support him due to his autistic features, (short attention span, rigidity, etc). i was a bit disappointed.

The team at Fusion was wonderfully helpful when our child was not able to continue high school within the constraints of a public/private school. The transition to Fusion was efficient, timely and incredibly supportive. Our child was able to change to a needs-based learning environment without compromising any chances to graduate from high school or lowering academic standards. The classes are comprehensive and taught in a stimulating and supportive way with much flexibility around medical and emotional circumstances.
In a difficult time for our family, Fusion helped us find an educational solution and support for the entire family.

Fusion Academy saved us!

During a difficult pandemic year where a poorly executed remote learning system was failing my daughter's academic and social/emotional needs, Fusion came to the rescue. Her teacher's were truly invested in her and brought back the fun in learning. My daughter's confidence soared and she was never left behind. She now attributes her new energy and renewed curiosity to Fusion. I can't thank you enough!

What a great learning environment! My middle school daughter has grown so much in her time here at Fusion Academy. She has some auditory processing challenges, and this has been the perfect place for her - academic customized, supportive teachers, friends, and fun. Also pleased with how the handled COVID - went straight online and never missed a day!

Fusion Academy was wonderful for our daughter. It allowed her to be herself, gave her confidence and prepared her well for college. She is a rising senior at UC Berkeley and has a 3.95 average.
