Thanks to the team at Frontline

I was recommended to contact Frontline Collections to recover money from an investment I made in 2025. From day one their team couldn't have been more helpful and supportive. They explained the course of action they intended taking. Within 7 days, I had the money back in my account. I had struggled with this issue for many weeks and only wish that I had contacted Frontline earlier. Once again, a huge thankyou to the team at Frontline.

Frontline forever

I went to frontline collection after our solicitors advised us to write off nearly £40K. Frontline gave me a completely different view and said they were willing to to act on my behalf. True to their word they have recovered every penny. I have nothing but praise for Linda, Emma and Keith who directed the recovery and communicated at every stage. They don’t disclose all the costs…

They don’t disclose all the costs upfront.

At first, they emphasise their success in collecting debts simply by visiting the debtor’s address, suggesting that the embarrassment alone will prompt payment. For this, they require a substantial upfront fee. When I asked about a success-based payment model, they claimed this wasn’t possible because it “costs them to visit the debtor's address,” and therefore, they already have sufficient incentive to collect the debt.

When that approach failed, they then asked me to pay additional fees to take the case to court. After a lengthy process, and even once the court ruled in my favour, I was presented with a long list of further charges for each additional action I wanted them to take.

Had they been transparent from the beginning about the full range of potential costs relative to the amount owed, I could have made a far more informed decision. Instead, I ended up covering their fees while the debtor paid nothing.

If you decide to use their services, make sure you ask for a full breakdown of all possible costs upfront.

Dear Ali,

We regret to learn that you are not satisfied with the service you have received. You paid a nominal instruction fee for which, over the past 10 months, we have attempted recovery of Unpaid Rent from a very difficult and obstructive individual as you are aware.

In this time we have administered full recovery actions including tracing the debtor, lengthy mediation, dispute resolution and assisted with obtaining a CCJ in your favour.

Unfortunately, Court and CCJ enforcement fees are payable from yourself. We do not set the fees for such yet nor can we speed up the process however we understand your frustration.

The Debtor did indeed make a offer to repay the debt but you refused this and also refused to take enforcement action. We have been attempting to mediate a further repayment resolution however in light of this review left on Christmas Day, we will now close your file and absorb the losses therein.

Help when all else failed

A company had charged me several thousand euro for security service that they did not provide. After months of emails, phone calls, and promises for refunds that got me nowhere, I went to Frontline for help and the mess was sorted in two parts: Frontline got most of the money back for me in a matter of days, but there were a few hundred extra that remained outstanding. Frontline doggedly pursued the balance and two days ago, that final amount appeared in my bank account. Top marks for Frontline!
