The car sat in the repair yard for a week, we were rung to say the repairs were complete and we could come to fetch our car only to find nothing had been done and it was still.in the same state as it was when I left it a week earlier. You can only imagine my reaction, the work was carried out to a good standard in super quick time but the fact that it sat there a week and no one noticed that it hadn't gone through the repair process beggers belief.

Thank you for your review. We completely understand your frustration and would again like to sincerely apologise to both you and Mrs Dickinson for what happened.
At the time, we had two vehicles of the same model on site. Unfortunately, an administrative error resulted in the registration numbers being mixed up, and we mistakenly contacted you believing that your vehicle had been completed when it was in fact the other vehicle. We accept full responsibility for this error and appreciate how frustrating it must have been to arrive expecting to collect your repaired vehicle, only to discover that the work had not yet started.
We would, however, like to clarify that your vehicle was completed within the repair timeframe originally given to you. With the volume of repairs passing through our centre, it is not unusual for a vehicle to remain in our secure repair yard for several days before entering the workshop as part of the planned repair schedule. The issue in this instance was not the overall repair timescale, but our administrative error in incorrectly advising you that the vehicle was ready for collection.
Once your vehicle entered the repair process, the work was completed very quickly, and we appreciate you acknowledging that the repairs themselves were carried out to a good standard. The quality of our repairs and completing them within the timescales given to our customers are both extremely important to us.
We apologised and explained the error at the time and also provided you and Mrs Dickinson with a small token of our sincere apologies. We are human and, regrettably, mistakes can occur, but that does not take away from our responsibility when they do.
Thank you again for recognising the quality and speed of the repair. We are sorry that an administrative mistake negatively affected what otherwise would have been a successful repair completed within the agreed timeframe.
