I had a really positive experience with DrOnline, especially with Dr Hira Naeem. The whole process was quick, easy and affordable, and she was thorough in asking questions and genuinely seemed to listen. Being able to do it all from the comfort of home made it so convenient too. I’d definitely recommend DrOnline, especially for something small that you need a prescription or sick note for. Highly recommend!

I had an episodic sciatica. I thought Dr Naeem was excellent. She was searching and extremely thorough in all of her questions. I was in great pain and she treated me very sympatheticially. This is the second time that I have used this service. I was away from home and benefited from a very accessible GP service.

What I liked:
Availability: being able to book a call with a doctor at any time was super convenient.
Excellent Customer Support: the response time from the support team was fantastic, and they solved my issue very quickly.
What I didn't like:
Incomplete Treatment Plan, I was only prescribed antibiotics, which weren't enough on their own. I had to manage my symptoms myself with paracetamol and other over the counter medicine.
Prescription Mishap: The doctor forgot to send my prescription to the pharmacy after our call. Thankfully, customer service stepped in and sorted it out right away, but it was still an extra hassle when I wasn't feeling well.
Lack of Holistic Care: The doctor didn't check if I was actually fit to work. I felt terrible and had to drag myself through the week until I eventually took Friday off just to avoid the hassle of needing a sick note.
If you asked me whether I’d book again, I'm honestly not sure. Great customer service, but the medical care itself felt a bit rushed and incomplete.

We have reviewed your concerns with the doctor. The antibiotic prescribed was based on the symptoms you presented during your consultation. We understand that recovery times can vary, and we are sorry if the expected timeframe and options for managing your symptoms while the medication took effect were not explained clearly enough.
Regarding the prescription, the doctor confirmed that it was unfortunately not sent immediately after your consultation due to an oversight. Once this was brought to our attention, it was sent directly to your pharmacy without further delay. We sincerely apologise for the additional inconvenience this caused.
We also understand your concerns regarding the sick certificate. The doctor has confirmed that, where clinically appropriate, a sick certificate can be issued when a patient is unwell and unable to work. We are sorry that you felt you had to manage this situation on your own and that this was not addressed during your consultation.
We are pleased that our Customer Service team was able to respond promptly and resolve the prescription issue. We appreciate your feedback regarding both the medical consultation and the support you received, as it helps us identify where we can improve.

Couldn’t get an appointment with my own…
Couldn’t get an appointment with my own doctor, so used the Dr.Online service. I found Dr. Hira Naeem excellent. Very professional, empathetic, listened to the medical background, current issues, very swiftly I came up with a plan of action and prescription issued minutes later. I would have been waiting days to see my own doctor. Very happy with the service provided.

I had a very disappointing experience
I had a very disappointing experience. I booked and paid for a doctor’s appointment, but I was never actually seen by the doctor. I was told that I would be referred to another healthcare professional, who would contact me shortly, but nobody called and I never received any link or follow-up.
I was also told that I would receive a refund and a confirmation email, but neither of these happened. I paid for a service that I did not receive, and the lack of communication and follow-through has been extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this service unless they significantly improve their customer support and refund process.
