This is a quick and effective service. It’s a great resource when you do not have a GP or are unable to access an appointment.

The Doctor called back at the appointment time and was very helpful. The prescription was mailed as promised. They were easy to deal with and very professional.
I’d have no hesitation on calling them again.

Waste of money
Waste of money, they prescribed me an over the counter item I had told them I have tried and it hadn't worked but they didn't listen. I have to book another GP appointment now to get what I need.

After reviewing your case with the doctor, we can confirm that the treatment prescribed was the standard first-line treatment in line with Irish medical guidelines. During the consultation, it was also discussed that if your symptoms did not improve, the next step would be an oral capsule treatment.
We understand your frustration, particularly as you had already tried an over-the-counter option. However, treatment decisions are based on clinical judgement and established medical guidelines, and medications specifically requested by patients are not always clinically appropriate at that stage of treatment.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Only use this service if you absolutely…
Only use this service if you absolutely have to, when you can't see your GP and need a same-day call. Doctors on staff issue prescriptions which is really helpful in an emergency, but lack any empathy and people skills. From time to time they may have to encounter patients who are worried or stressed about health concerns, which seems to be an inconvenience to them. Rude, condescending, and often very difficult to hear. I've used this service three times now, and this has unfortunately been my experience every time.

The doctor :(
The doctor was sarcastic, rude and arrogant. When I requested for a doctor’s note, the email had loads of spelling errors and she listed that i was in college- i am not. I asked for a correction and a prescription(she ignored this one) and told me it cost 10€ to do a script. She wasn’t kind empathetic or professional. I will not be using DrOnline in the future

Fantastic service
When unable to get a GP appointment I went and spoke with pharmacist. They did an assessment but said I needed a doctor consultation as soon as possible. They suggested this service. Withing 15 mins I was speaking to a doctor, they assessed my wound and prescribed meds straight way. They were emailed to pharmacy immediately. From speaking to pharmacist to filling prescription it was about 30 minutes. Fabulous service. I will use again as it is very hard to get a GP appointment within 48hrs of request.v

Great experience, quick and convenient
Great experience. I was able to get an appointment really quickly on the day which was great because I was not well enough to travel to my own GP. The doctor was able to prescribe me what I needed and I also got a sick note for work for an additional 10 euro.
