Location and facilties are very good for families with small children, staffs were very helpful and friendly. 2 bedroom Apartments are quite spacious and clean.

We had a wonderful stay at Dormio Holiday Park in the Eifel! The location is beautiful, surrounded by a peaceful and scenic environment where you can truly enjoy nature. The park itself is very well maintained and the facilities are excellent.

Everything is clean, well organized, and there is plenty to do for everyone. We had a very pleasant experience and would definitely love to come back again.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great holiday in a beautiful setting!

Beautiful area with great walking opportunities, even directly from the park.
Our stay in an 8-person house was fine, but nothing more than that. If you're staying with a larger group, the facilities particularly the kitchen and bathroom(s) may present some challenges.
We didn’t use any of the park’s amenities, so we can’t comment on those.
For us, it was a great base to go out daily with the dog. And if you don’t mind driving a bit, you’ll find plenty of good and varied restaurants within a 30-minute radius perfect for dining out over a two-week stay.

The location is beautiful. At arrival the co-workers were very friendly.
The accomodation was clean.
There is a lot to do for everyone.

Great resort. Situated on a hill with a beautiful view on the rur. A lot to do at the park and in the direct area. Such as: cycling, hiking, Wildpark, sightseeing per boat or small train. The house in which we stayed was clean, spacious and cosy. Great beds! Only negative thing was the dirty floor. After a view bare footed minutes, they turned black. And thus the small carpet in the bathroom as well. But in the end we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great holiday! Amazing staff, beautiful environment, comfortabel apartment and plenty to do for both adults and children in de Eifel and at the resort. Would definitely come back here.

Beautiful houses, clean and. The surrounding is green and beautiful. We had a good view from the Terrence.

I have a complain to make about our staying at the Dormio Resort at Eifeler Tor in Germany.
We had a 2 days staying there under the reservation number 49173 (19/04/2025 - 21/04/2025).
Dear sir/madam,
Firstly I would like to thank you for providing a very nice accommodation, with a the wonderful atmosphere. We really enjoyed staying there and most probably would suggest it to our friends and families.
The only thing that really bothered us was at the beginning where we arrived around at the parking and we tried to call the operator at the parking (on the other side of the road) at 18:35-18:46 Saturday 19/04/2025 at Dormio Resort, at Eifeler Tor Germany. A German speaking man responded and we tried to ask for how to open the parking door but and from what we understood he was just asking whether if we can speak German when we said No he just hanged up on us. We dialled again and he did the same by saying in English too bad then hanged up. It was so shocking to us.
So we understood from the people behind us that we need the card from reception (after check-in) to open the parking door. That wasn't the end of the story, after going for checking we found the reception closed so we called the phone number on the door: +49 24468094959 and then a German speaking man respond and from what we understood he tried to ask whether we speak German too, and the moment we said no, he replied again "too bad" and hanged up again. I did call the number again and I got the exact same response. I called the number twice at 18:57 and 18:55 at front of Eifeler Tor Germany reception door.
We finally managed it by getting help from the kind manager of the bike shop downstair. He spoke to the operator and asked what we should do.

Honestly we found the behaviour of that person so rude, discriminative and racist and felt really offended.
Furthermore, opening the parking door after check-in (via E-card) was a piece of information that we didn't have and could easily be mentioned in the email as part of the check-in instruction together with the closing hours of the reception. If we have that we could manage it better. But still the behaviour of the phone operator was not acceptable and I would like to know his name and contact information to act upon it. Would it be possible to share his detail info?

I asked the reception desk at Eifeler Tor while checking-out but they were not supportive and they said they will manage it. I don't know how they are going to do it because they didn't even asked when it was or who it was. So I assume they don't have any info of the mentioned operator. they have not send me any information regarding follow up on this issue so far.

Friendly personnel, nice location with sufficient facilities. Very relaxing geography.

Very content about the total package: accommodation, location, personnel, facilities, service.

Nice holiday on this Nice park in heimbach, the area is great, park have a lot of facilitys.
Good personal en good beds!

Here you can really enjoy peace, nature, could find great hiking trails all around. You can relax and on the other hand do sports, or try delicious meals. The staff is really kind, the apartments are well-equipped. Just advisable!

Comfortable stay and good list of facilities. Even if weather is bad, you can enjoy the indoor facilities available there.

Accommodation, Reception support , Location & Facilities all were great.

It’s an amazing park. The view is stunning and it’s so quit and relaxing. The kids loved it, they especially loved mio and the swimming pool. The outside swimming pool is really big. I also loved that we had a sauna in our accomodation. My husband loves the beer and the beer tasting.

Lot of activities for kids.
In-house supermarket.
In-house restaurants.
Natural beauty around.

Excellent weekend with family and friends !!!
