The experience was bad- But MIKE was great

The experience was bad, it took hours to just submit a a transaction (first time not sure why its also been seamless in the past, the Canada post strike have have been a factor but if you look at the last notes it makes me think no) , but "Mike @ Coincards" was very quick to respond to my inquiries to eventually help me through it.

Smooth experience and great support staff

For me, I've been using Coincards.ca for many years and found the experience to be smooth and without hiccups. I also like the fact that they offer "electronic delivery gift cards". If I do run into issues, the support staff is very responsive and helpful and usually get things resolved within 24hrs. I would highly recommend them to anyone who have crypto to spend.

They've sent me a gift card with no credit!

Someone sent me a £150 sainsburys gift card through coin cards in May and I spent it. Order number 4014. Yesterday that same person sent me another £150 Sainsburys gift card through Coincards. Coincards, instead of sending me a new gift card, sent me the same old, used gift card from may that has no credit on it. What is going on???

EDIT: Coincards finally got back to me and said no-one has sent me a new gift card, and coincards just randomly resent the old one "for my records." What nonsensical, irritating service. Why did you do that? You made me think I had a new gift card and I even wrote a thank you message to the person who I thought had sent it.

EDIT: Why are you resending old orders with no credit on them???

Recently, our system cleared out several old orders that were still marked as “pending,” which led to an automatic “order completed” email being sent for your May Sainsbury’s gift card order. We understand this made it look like you’d received a new card, which was not the case. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

When you contacted us regarding not receiving a gift card, our team also manually re-sent the original card details in response to your request. Since multiple email addresses have been used for your orders and inquiries, it was more challenging for us to track the correct status and ensure you were referencing the right order, which contributed to the mix-up.

To clarify:

The card you received recently was a re-send of the May order, which had already been redeemed.

No new Sainsbury’s gift cards have been purchased or issued under your account or associated emails since then.

Using consistent contact details and providing a specific order number will help us resolve future requests more efficiently.

Just to clarify, the only reason an old order was resent is because we received a request from you stating that you hadn’t received your original gift card.

Be cautious

Be cautious. I purchased a €250 Amazon gift card several hours ago, but I have not received any gift code yet. The gift code is also not visible on their website, even though my payment status shows as settled. I have sent two support emails requesting that the gift card be sent to a different email address, in case the original one I provided is not functioning. However, they have not responded or sent the gift code.

Edit: Finally, after an intermediary was able to contact them while they were ignoring my support emails, they managed to respond to my messages, and I received the gift code about 10 hours later. It seems to me that I only received the gift card code because I gave them a one-star review on Trustpilot. Otherwise, they would have taken advantage of the fact that the first temporary email I provided to them was not working, according to their statement. Will avoid them in the future.

The gift code was issued automatically within minutes of payment confirmation and sent to the email address provided at checkout. That email was a temporary address, which often fails to receive messages reliably — a known limitation of such services. Our system shows the delivery succeeded, but the email itself likely wasn't able to accept it at the time.

You contacted support twice within two hours of your order — the first message just 10 minutes after processing — and we responded the same day, outlining how to have the code reissued. Our team never ignored your messages. We simply needed the transaction ID and a new, working email to proceed, as per our standard policy designed to protect customers from fraud or misuse.

Your claim that we only responded because of a one-star review is inaccurate. We were already in contact and had provided the steps to resolve the issue prior to the review being posted. We're happy the code was ultimately received — but it was not delayed, withheld, or mishandled. We're always here to help, but we also believe in setting the record straight.

Always top notch professional service. Out of 10 transactions or so, so far, only had one issue with one of the vendors...coincards offered several solutions and fulfilled it asap. Good service

I made a mistake with buying 2 region locked Goggle Play cards. I coul;dn't use them as my Google account is not from USA.
I emailed them, and though they couldn't replace one of the card which i had opened, The unopened one their support was very helpful in exchanging for an Uber gift card.
So I am quite happy with the reasonableness and smarts of support. And the service is overall quite trustworthy, just make sure to check your cards carefully before you buy! or only buy a low value card and test it.
