I know the bed was on sale but I was a bit disappointed on the mattress as it was so hard like a board under me so I spent another $200 on buying toppers to be able to sleep comply, buying online can be a bit hit and miss.

I have just had a sofa bed delivered from the Nelson store, into a tight spot upstairs, which I was concerned about
However, it was expertly sited without any fuss or damage.
I must applaud the delivery team for their efficiency, communication and service.
I would not hesitate to return to the Nelson store, as they are the definition of " customer service"

I do not usually leave reviews but the service from Beds4U genuinely deserved one.
From the very beginning, the team was incredibly helpful, informative and patient.
I had quite a few conversations with them around different mattress options, headboard colour choices and what would suit our needs best.
At no point did I feel pressured. They actually took the time to understand what we were looking for and guided us properly.
The communication throughout the process was excellent and every question I had was answered clearly and honestly. You can tell they genuinely care about customer satisfaction rather than just making a sale.
The delivery team was also fantastic. Friendly, professional and very helpful during delivery and setup which made the whole experience smooth and stress free.
Overall, exceptional service from start to finish and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality products backed by people who truly care about their customers.

The store did not email or ring me to let me know bed was definetly there for pick up date for my online order. I sent an email on the day and rung the store on the day neither were answered. I even left a message on answer phone that wasn't answered. When I went into the store the service lady half way through a sentence stopped me picked up her personal cell phone answered it. Told the person she would have to ring them back and then proceeded to serve me. She was able to find the bed and showed me where it was to collect. But overall based on this service I would not recommend to others.

Shop staff and manager were very accommodating in the Palmy store.
Need to be a bit clearer with their promotion on their website 'Spin and Win' as it doesn't state if it is in shop purchases only or online as well.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Beds4U.
I purchased a bed and mattress on 25 January 2026 from the Lower Hutt store, clearly informing the sales team that I would be moving into my new home in the last week of March or the first week of April. Despite placing the order well in advance, as of 28 April 2026 my order is still incomplete.
While the bed base and mattress were delivered on 17 April, the delivery included the wrong bed base legs (photos attached). To date, the correct legs have not been provided. In addition, the headboard and pillow protectors listed on my invoice are still missing.
What’s most frustrating is the lack of communication—there has been no update or follow-up from the Lower Hutt store or the company.
This has been a very poor customer experience. Unfortunately, this will be my last purchase from Beds4U, and I would not recommend them based on this experience.

Beds great but don’t trust their deals. Our beds arrived without the promised delux set. We went in to store to ask why and that we didn’t want to use beds without mattress protectors. I also got rid of old pillows and the beds being 2 long singles we were meant to get sheets. The man gave us some cheaper pillows and mattress protectors that we only KS. He said when the correct ones arrived we would still get those too. A month later and we had to chase them up. One of their staff just dropped off sheets. Nothing else. When I questioned him he argued and said they were no longer in stock for others things and we already got stuff so that’s it. The sheets were from Bed bath and beyond and way cheaper than the deal we had signed for. If they are going to run out of stock they should not put them with a deal upon purchase. Then lie that the sheets have arrived but they are not even their brand but cheaper ones. Also flannette which I can’t use. If I had known they were going to make us just do with cheaper lower quality pillows and mattress protectors I would have waited until they sorted it or would they have come from another brand too 🙄 I have neck problems and need a proper supportive pillow. We also would of liked mattress protectors that fit properly . Edited to add, sheets got were from a store on sale $47. Once promised were way more. Spent thousands on a bed and that was our deal wow never again. Won’t be getting our other beds upgraded here

I was so excited for the sale and getting the matress . The Matress took a month to arrive , unfortunately without the lavender pillows that were part of the sale and no extra communication to my email after . And now the matress is makjng catching spring noises each time I get out of bed ,
I don’t think I would purchase again after being so excited getting a new matress after 9 years.

Didn't display lead tine of 4 weeks. Had it as stock clearance which was a lie if you dont have stock. Didn't refund me money for a month. The whole process was terrible. Worst customer service I have ever worked with. Zero stars
