An absolutely disappointing experience. I would never rent from Autovia again and would not recommend them to anyone.

We rented a car from Autovia in Genoa for a road trip around Italy. We picked it up at night, and the service was poor from the very beginning. Nobody even came with us to hand over the vehicle. We were simply given the keys and told where the car was parked.

As soon as we reached the car, we realized it was in terrible condition. It was very dirty, covered in scratches, had no windshield washer fluid, and when we started the engine, several warning lights appeared on the dashboard indicating maintenance and vehicle issues. From the very first moment, it was obvious that the car had not been properly checked before being rented out.

When we arrived in Verona, we contacted Autovia to report the problems. They told us to go to their office at Verona train station to exchange the vehicle.

We followed their instructions exactly. When we arrived, they told us to take the car into the parking garage and collect a replacement vehicle. What surprised us even more was that they did not inspect either car with us. They simply took the keys to the first vehicle and handed us the keys to the replacement.

After inspecting the replacement car ourselves, we found several scratches that had not been documented. We immediately went back to the Autovia office to report them before leaving. We parked outside the office because that was where their staff was located and where they had instructed us to go.

Later, we received a traffic fine because that area is restricted to public transport and authorized vehicles only. The most unbelievable part is that nobody warned us about this restriction, even though Autovia had specifically directed us to that office to exchange the vehicle. They are now refusing to accept any responsibility for a fine that would never have happened if they had simply informed us of the access restrictions.

At no point did we enter the restricted area on our own initiative. We were only following the instructions given by Autovia in order to replace a vehicle that had serious issues from the moment it was collected.

A car rental company should provide vehicles in good condition, inspect them properly with the customer at pickup and exchange, and clearly inform customers about any important access restrictions. Unfortunately, Autovia failed on every one of those points.

I cannot recommend Autovia.

Making up a damage. Each time in different part of the car. When we ask for details and expenses, they do not provude it

The staff was great. In the delivery a person from autovia Verona received us in the Park to help with the delivery after some dificulties with traffic.

In the autovia venezia, mestre, the staff was awesome in explaining how everything works.

The car was excepcional in perfect conditions and modern model

The company locauto would not accept my mexican driver's permit...even when i had a reservation. The autovia agent heard It (she was very expertisenand and helpful on understanding our Situation and took over and rented us a new shining SUV. Sorry i dont recall her name but she resolver the situation right away

I prepaid thru Expedia but the counter would not accept that and charged me the full amount again. Now I'm fighting with Expedia to get a refund. The car was dirty and in bad shape, tires worn out, breaks felt weak.

Showed 20 categories online, in fact they only had 3 categories. Also extremely bad customer service.

We booked a car from 04/03/23 to 04/07/23 in Verona through the company's website. The price is excellent at a rate with possible damage coverage. All conditions were met, the car was in good condition, the registration was quick, I liked everything. I recommend.

Bed expirience ! No sighns of Ecovia in the area of Porta Nova - Train station of Verona .
Office was close untill aprox. 10:00 AM
No answers in any of the tel. Numbers /
Car's windows werw dirty !
No water in the water tank for flashing & wipping the windows.
Tried to call again but No answer!
No body told me about Fueil taks ( Gazoline & Methano) . After driving at list 100 Km alarm indicates That its need to full gazoline .
Very , Very Unsatisfied !
By the way - I have an expirience concerning rental cars!
