Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

Purchased a Recliner Lift Chair from Wavertree Shop. Served by Chole, lovely young lady and very helpful. Had a good selection of chairs and a very reasonable price range. I had previously been quoted double the price ! Purchased the chair on 14 July and delivered 17 July by two great guys. Would recommend this business.

If you are going to buy an adjustable bed from this store in Wavertree Liverpool please be aware that it may not feel the same as the demonstration model.
My 84 yr disabled Mother purchased the Clavetly adjustable bed after testing the display mattress in the store.
The bed arrived and the mattress was extremely hard and she couldn’t sleep on it.
I rang the store and they advised they wouldn’t take the mattress back even though it was less than 24 hours from delivery.
The base is fine but you can’t sleep on the base alone.
Zero customer service provided in my opinion after spending £1100.
If I could have given them 0 star rating I would have done.
She will now have to sleep on the sofa until a mattress arrives from another company.
Very poor service considering this is selling disabled appliances.

Really dreadful. Staff member at the Wavertree branch didn't tell us we had 14 days to return even though we told we had to check the item would fit. She didn't even let us know the item couldn't be returned. The 14 day return policy for a disability specialist store is concerning since most retailers now have a 30 day return policy.
The bath board was never opened and was still in the original plastic, but we were told for hygiene reasons it couldn't be returned, which was incredibly misleading. By law, we also don't need a receipt to return an item, especially since there was a record of a VAT exemption. We travelled an hour to get there. Won't be buying here again.

My riser recliner chair had an altercation with my power chair. This resulted in the chair becoming dangerous to use as part of it had collapsed. It was totally my fault. Up till then it had been working perfectly for almost 2 years
The engineer explained everything so we went to Ableworld Wavertree and bought a new one. That was Friday afternoon. The new chair arrived today Tuesday and I'm sitting in it now. It's really comfy.
Thanks for all your help Ableworld. You leave your truly dreadful competitors standing C.........o, should take a leaf out of your book when it comes to customer service.

My husband Bill and I walked into the store with literally no idea what we required with regards to purchasing a mobility scooter. Chloe was so helpful and genuinely knew her products. There was no pressure for us to purchase either. She even made sure between the 2 my husband was thinking of purchasing I can dismantle myself. Decision made we purchased The Jolly scooter and now hopefully my husband can join me walking on the flat. She's a credit to your Company so thank you once again Chloe. Sandra & Bill

I went to the Able World shop in Southport on Monday to enquire about a stair lift urgently need for a friend in Liverpool, the staff were very helpful and offered a number of options. 2 days later Lee visited to carry out a survey and offered 2 solutions. I approved one of these and by the following Monday, Chris from engineering arrived to install the stair lift, absolutely excellent and prompt service from the whole team, would highly recommend this company, well done!

We visited the Wavertree store looking at mobility scooters and powerchairs not knowing exactly what we wanted. The store had a good range of competitively priced models and the sales person Chloe was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and patiently demonstrated the range with good advice.

Bad customer service, only provided single answers to questions asked, not very helpful.
Attitude is shocking. Went to try an electric bed and was told to put down the control.
