Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

I have Stage 4 cancer which is affecting my mobility and so I’m not able to get around as well as I used to. I set up a GoFundMe fundraiser last year. Thanks to the very generous donations received from family and Facebook friends I was today able to buy a mobility scooter. Many thanks to Allyson and Roy ❤️

Queensferry branch - an absolute s*** show. We visited with a view to buying a rollator for a friend. Nobody was in the shop though we saw one person doing something outside. We walked round, looked at a few things and finally found the rollators, looked and decided we didn't want to buy when we hadn't even had the courtesy of an assistant. As we decided to leave the male assistant showed up but it was too late. Certainly won't go there again and would be dubious about any other branch now. We ended up at Careco and had an amazing experience.

I bought my first car seat 2 years ago while suffering with sciatic, very painful. extremely helpful whilst driving. As they mentioned it was low in stock I ordered another one last week to keep until needed. I ordered the first car seat on line from the Queensferry shop and collected it the next day. A very helpful lady served me and I will have no hesitation going back to that shop again when I require further help, I am now in my 70s and starting to require extra help!!! I had a good look around whilst I was in the shop and took notice of all there stock. This time when ordering my carseat I had to go on line and order from there head office as there was no stock of that particular item at the moment. All was well and received my order promptly and efficiently, thankyou Ableworld

When visiting the store for new batteries for a wheelchair, Colin went above and beyond in helping us to fit them. You were both patient and kind, and we are extremely grateful. Thank you both very much. You are a credit to Ableworld.

I needed a tilt chair and wheelchair for my mum. Went to ableworld in Queensferry and the help and guidance I got from Allyson was outstanding. She talked me through different things that I didn't even know or had thought of. In the end it was delivered to try out before payment by Scott and Vince who ensured it was the right one for mum which thankfully it was. Fantastic service

From start to finish everything was great. The sales staff were helpful but not pushy. Allyson was knowledgeable and took the time to ensure my wife found the perfect mobility scooter best suited to her needs and even let her take a few for a test drive.

We went into the store yesterday to purchase an Elite Jiffy scooter, we were greeted warmly by Brian who showed us the scooter and he was extremely knowable. He put us at ease and explained everything well. My 2 gripes on the experience are that I had to have the ex display model of the scooter I did explain that I wouldn't need it for a few weeks but I wasn't offered any other model, I don't know how long that model had been in the store so felt quite disappointed. My other gripe was that Brian told me that I would need a cover for the control panel but they were out of stock but they could be found online, he didn't tell me where. Overall friendly staff but disappointed with having the ex display scooter

Needed a mobility scooter for my dad, popped into store late yesterday - home demo this afternoon - fantastic service all staff genuinely helpful and pleasant ( in store, the appointment team and the home demo team, who patiently made sure all was in order for my dad.
The scooter was a Rascal and should give my dad the confidence to get out and about 👍

Came to the Queensferry, Deeside store for help with choosing a light wheelchair for my 98 yr old mother in law. Angela & the other assistants were very helpful, pleasant & patient in explaining the various chairs on offer & in helping us to choose the right one for my mum-in-law. Can't praise all the staff highly enough.
