Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

Thank you so much to Ableworld Hanley. We bought a recliner for my mum but she never got to sat in it as she sadly passed away on the same day that it was delivered. Full refund was given. Thanks again !

The service we received from the lovely young lady, Dawn, was excellent. She had very good customer service skills and was very knowledgeable on all the products we were interested in. She gave us a full demonstration and nothing was too much trouble.
Her sales skills were that good, I only came in for a walking stick and left with a scooter!!

I visited the Ableworld store in Hanley on Leek Road and was looked after by Charlene. Charlene was amazing, she showed me all the different mobility scooters, and explained everything to me. She let me test drive the scooters to find the best one for me and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. The scooter was delivered the next day and I have my freedom, I love my scooter and can’t thank Charlene enough!

I went into store today to enquire about wheelchairs, being 25, I was anxious and embarrassed. As soon as walking through the door we were greeted by Jonathan who was friendly and eager to help. He helped me find the right chair for my needs and that suited my style, he assembled it and even adjusted the foot rests. I left felling happy and grateful to Jonathan.

I recently used the Stoke On Trent branch who gave incredible advice on what was needed for an unexpected situation. Both Charlene and Jonathan F were so patient and helpful and have really helped the family be at ease with our needs. Thank you!

We went to Ableworld Hanley to look for a folding mobility scooter. We left with a Q50 R Carbon powerchair. It's great! Special thanks to Dawn for all the time and help she gave to us. Dawn realy has great product knowledge and understood what would be best for us. Without her help and guidence we would have bought the wrong product. Thanks Dawn.

This was our first visit to ableworld. Jonathan looked after us and said to just look around. I knew what I wanted and showed him a photo of a walker that I had seen on the Internet. He showed me a similar model and explained all the features. He was very supportive and said we could think about it and then come back at a later date. He did not push for a sale at that point. I was very impressed and bought the appliance the same day. Thank you to Jonathan for your help and support.

Called in Ableworld in joiners square, I didn't want a scooter, but was persuaded by my husband to just have a look. A lovely lady named Dawn asked if we needed any help. I said no thank you my husband said yes please, so off we go. Everything explained to him several times Dawn had so much patience, nothing was too much trouble. Eventually I had a trial of the scooter on the car park. Yes it was fine. But I still didn't want a scooter. Eventually my husband persuaded me to have one, so I did. Today I have been round Trentham Garden which I haven't been able to do for a few years now. Yes I was thrilled to be able to do it. So thank you Dawn for all your help and patience. You were great. Best wishes from Sheila Allen

My sister bought a mobility scooter from them. At 11 months the battery failed, though the charger showed full. Customer Services said it was her fault, though she'd followed manufacturer's guide for maintenance. After care is disgusting! She is now housebound, as well as recently widowed, with nowhere to turn. She just wants her battery mending...

We attended the Hanley, Stoke on Trent branch with our mother in law initially to have a look and see what was available
Upon speaking to Jonathan we explained what we we’re looking for and without hesitation he helped us.
He was not pushing any sales but understood that we wanted to just have look. He listened to our needs and wants and assisted us with showing the right stick and even let us have a go and trial.
After a good time exploring the stock and Jonathan explaining the options the mother in law felt so comfortable and happy that we bought one of the wheelchairs and accessories.
The stock was there and how to use was explained, demonstrated and we were allowed to try ourselves.
The process of the aftercare was explained and we all walked out happy. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out it was great service and excellent customer service!! Top work!!
