Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

Went to Ableworld Crewe to purchase a mobility scooter, I just wanted to say how fantastic the service was. Jonathan and Amy were both extremely knowledgeable - especially Jonathan who really went above and beyond. When I went to collect my new scooter I wasn’t able to lift the scooter into the car myself , but he took care of everything without hesitation. Nothing was too much trouble even Amy brought a chair to the desk whilst paying etc as I cannot stand for very long. They both made me feel completely at ease, I can’t thank them enough.

Visited the Crewe store - was served by Jay & Amy.
First time in ableworld with my elderly mother in law.
Absolutely fantastic service. Above & beyond. I also noticed how clearly Jay spoke for my MIL as he picked up she was hard of hearing.
He also took time and care in explaining everything to her.
Amy helped us find everything we needed.
I will always use this store now. Thank you Jay & Amy.
And the chair was delivered and is perfect.

We visited Ableworld today in Crewe, after making a mistake ordering a power chair online, which is too heavy and not for us, will be returning it. I have only good things to say about the very personal and knowledgeable service we received today from Amy and Jonathon. We spent some time in the shop looking at scooters and power chairs, their expert knowledge helped us to make the decision, without any pressure, my husband had a test drive and Amy assistate me in trying sizes in our car boot. Very happy with our purchase Q50R Carbon, ready for its test drive next week on our holiday. Definitely would recommend, the personal touch and the chance to talk about the scooters and chairs is very much appreciated. Debra Jones

I would like to thank everyone for their support, we needed a riser recliner for my mum who is housebound with mobility issues, the staff in the Crewe store using my mums measurements helped us to source the best chair options, the team at Head office organised a delivery demo of two chairs to be done at our convenience, the drivers who brought them were so helpful and patient with mum and they gave us great guidance to help us make the right choice. From ordering to arrival the leadtime was amazing and the Deliveries team organised a next day delivery to my parents, mum is extremely pleased with her purchase of the Wrenbury Ultra Riser Recliner and she is now sitting comfortably. Thank you to everyone at Ableworld who helped make this whole process a happy experience

Visited Ableworld Crewe yesterday afternoon. My Dad was looking for his first mobility scooter after having given up driving after over 70 yrs. We had a good look around and were approached by Amy. She was very friendly and super helpful. After a few demos and trials it was pretty clear Dad was ready to get one. The staff went above and beyond expectations. Explaining everything we needed to know about the scooter and more. Needless to say Dad was very impressed with the service as came away with his first mobility scooter. We even had it delivered to the door almost immediately thanks to the delivery guys Alex &Allison who were in store at the time and again super helpful!
Big shout out to all the team including Jonathan (think that was his name) who were all very helpful and considerate to our needs. We would highly recommend you, and Thank you so much 😊 John & Mandy

Made 3 visits to Ableworld Crewe whilst trying to decide on mobility scooter. Dealt with both Jonathon and Nigel who were so helpful and answered all questions, they were courteous every time and never pressured me to buy. I was glad the last time I went to actually buy a scooter they were both in store. Both a credit to the company.

I wish to wholeheartedly praise Ableworld's Crewe store for their high level of after-sales service that I experienced recently. A minor problem with my 'A Fold Walker' was taken on by Johnathon with such enthusiasm to give a level of service rarely seen today. He showed commitment in acquiring the part required, practiced his own skill to fit it and finally to resolve the problem for me. I was very impressed.

We recently visited Ableworld Crewe. We were advised in a knowledgeable and friendly way by Jonathan. He gave great advice and options and as our need was quite urgent he and his colleague Nigel arranged speedy delivery of some much needed equipment. They also undertook to deliver it at very short notice. Outstanding service from start to finish

The most disorganised company I've dealt with. The Terms and Conditions they try to wriggle out of the legalization to protect customers .
Was sold a product that was not as described!.
A mobility scooter that top speed was 4mph. Sadly that's untrue . A quick circle round your car park with a member of staff using Google maps to test the speed is a joke.
As the scooter on a daily journey for example into town gives a truer picture of the actual speed not a Google maps!.
Was told by customer service that I could take it back to store and they'd exchange it for a more expensive model and pay the difference (since been denied).
Also told I've got to make sure I'm at least two scooter lengths while out on it as that's the "stopping distance" . God help anyone who stops in front of me or emerges to cross my path while out on a journey round town.
I'm now told you don't resell scooters which is NOT what your masse of paperwork says or your website.
Your paperwork online says clearly "if the items resellable".

Initial purchase went very well and my mother and father were pleased with their new stairlift. Installation was great, no mess at all. We took out the extended warranty that includes an annual service. It is now just my mother at home and she has Alzheimer’s so we have to travel over 50 miles to be with her for appointments (and always say this when arranging service calls). The after sales is not brilliant though, they never call you to book a service, you have to call them, the last two years (first two years of warranty extension) they have tried to re-arrange service on the actual day causing cost to us having to travel to be with my mother. Once can be forgiven, there are always emergencies, however, it seems to be a habit and has a knock on effect with other arrangements made. We go to all the trouble of explaining about my mother when booking the appointment and they deny they knew, I have asked them to review their call recordings and keep proper notes on their system. They just want to carry out service calls at their convenience - no wonder they get so many emergency breakdowns as it’s so hard to organise a service.

What a very pleasing and pleasant experience, we spent nearly 2 hours with Nige, so courteous, polite, knowledgeable and patient. He showed us the range of foldable mobility scooters, explained the differences, allowed us to try out the ones fancied. Suggested we spent some time thinking over our options - very little thought needed we had decided on the best choice for our needs and we bought it.

This afternoon my husband and I visited the Crewe able world
We were greeted straightaway by a lovely lady called Karen
We had an issue with the leg of my mums wheelchair which she sorted out
The main reason was I need a mobility scooter for myself
She showed us a couple but we found the right one for my needs
She explained fully how to use it and how it folds up and back down
The service Karen gave was excellent and I’m more than happy with what I’ve purchased for my needs
So a very big Thankyou Karen you were wonderful xx

My Journey with AbleWorld began in 2020 when I was Looking for a Active Wheelchair, I live in Southampton and I drove up to Crewe because of the positive reviews and seeing they had the chair I was interested in. From the sales to aftercare, I’ve had nothing but kindness and service has been fantastic. When I looked at the chair Louise was so helpful she listened to my needs gave me advise and between us the end product was way above what I expect.Lou and I spoke over the phone a fair bit and I never had to wait long for a call back. Iv had dealings with sale's the team in the head office and I’ve dealt with the work shop team,I can’t thank them enough I really can’t they’ve gone the extra mile to help. If your looking for a new wheelchair or anything else and you want honest advice, people who know there products with the best aftercare then I can’t recommend AbleWorld in Crewe enough. Thank you Lou, Don, Richard Paul and anyone else behind the scenes you’ve all made a huge difference, more than you know. I highly recommend.
