Ableworld are the largest mobility retailer in the country and believe this is because we genuinely care about our customer’s well-being. We employ professional, caring and knowledgeable staff to work in our stores, and provide quality mobility aids at value for money prices.
We pride ourselves on being an ethical trader who will not pressure sell items and if we feel a product should have an assessment we will not sell these online, as we want to ensure our customers that they are getting the right product for their needs, not just the most expensive mobility aid.
Our stores stock all types of mobility aids, including Mobility Scooters, Walkers, Powerchairs, Bathing Aids and Stairlifts. You can be assured that in all of our stores we provide the same caring approach to looking after our customers, and the same range of quality mobility aids.

We were welcomed by Kirsty who was very informative and helpful. She explained various models of mobility scooter to suit my needs. A very enjoyable shopping experience with no pressure and I am delighted with my purchase. Thank you very much Kirsty and Andrea.

Andrea and Kirsty were most cheerful and informative when providing assistance with my recent purchase of a mobility scooter. I would highly recommend this company.
The other were also extremely helpful.

Ableworld at Burton was recommended to us by a friend whose mother was a customer. It's impressive. A huge range of aids both high need and less so (eg joint support etc -- I'll be recommending my son to go there as he has serious joint issues). We had looked at the website and were pretty sure of what we wanted and were in and out in about 30 minutes. No high-pitched sales, the staff just made sure we were happy with what we'd chosen and knew how to use it and deal with it (folding wheelchair), giving a short 'tutorial' and offers to help us out into the car park and the car. Thank you, Chris and Andrea -- you were friendly, helpful and jovial. It was a good experience for one who is struggling against deteriorating ability. I hope I won't need to return -- but you would be first in line!

What a brilliant welcome my husband and I received at ableworld - Burton, 2 very friendly ladies Andrea (manager) and Kirsty (assistant manager), nothing was too much trouble, as I was looking for something specific, they needed to ask certain questions which were of a sensitive nature, these questions were asked diplomatically and as sensitively as was possible. The product was demonstrated in full and Andrea, ensured we could dismantle, put the product together and then get the product into our car, before she was happy to allow us to settle the sale. This shop is a little gem of help and advice for people with any kind of disability. We can highly recommend both Andrea and Kirsty for their professionalism, attention to detail, friendliness and discretion. What a pleasure it was to shop at this ableworld store.
