Spent 3 days and 3 hours just to try…
Spent 3 days and 3 hours just to try and have a package picked up at another address and returned to me charging it to my account. I scheduled the first pick up while a representative walked me through it on the phone while I was on line. She told me to put the client's email into the form and THEY would email her a shipping label. They never emailed her. The driver comes and there is no package because she is waiting on a label. I have to leave a meeting and run home to get all the info and deal with it. I was then told "OH no that is not how it is done" and they went in and were supposed to do the label and have it with the driver. I get a message from the client that Fed Ex came but had no label, however when I put the tracking number in it says the package is In Transit On Vehicle for Delivery. I call Fed Ex and they are like "No it is going to be picked up today". I ask why it says it is on the truck and they told me yes they need to change the way they put that in because that just means the label was scanned. How confusing is that? Now I look like an absolute fool to my client! And please do NOT let them damage a package. WHEW! That happened and I had to take 10 hours out to take care of that! What company makes someone take 3 hours of their time to simply ship a package that they are charging you for. If I was the owner of this company I would be mortified but this is what happens when you are this big. No one really cares. I am sorry does not give me back my time and of course they would never offer a discount for the mistake!
