Never use FedEx

I recently had a package of documents sent to me and the sender used FedEx. I was on vacation during the period they tried to deliver. They tried to deliver twice. Both times they left a tag. Neither time was there a name or apartment number on the tag. No one in the building knew who they were trying to deliver to. Only when I got back from vacation, did I find out the package was meant for me. I called them to find out where the package was, and they informed it had been sent back to the shipper. I explained, I had been on holiday and they told me I should have told them that. What a ridiculous thing to say. I didn’t know I was receiving a package, why would I randomly call them and tell them I was on vacation? They then said the shipper should have told them I was on vacation. The shipper doesn’t know my vacation schedule either! This is just another of a series of problems with FedEx. I refuse to use them, and when I am having something shipped I tell the shipper not to use them either. They are totally disorganised, been caught not telling the truth on more than one occasion and have very poor customer service. I’ve never once had a response to one of my complaints. Don’t use them!
