I had a great experience with ZipJob, specifically with Michael B. He completely rewrote my resume and did a fantastic job! I only requested a couple of minor changes to his first draft. The resume looked very professional and was written in a way that made me sound like a great candidate for a job. I sent it out and got an interview within days. I highly recommend ZipJob!

Automated scam site, that does not deliver as advertised. No refunds once order is placed for any reasons. Poor customer service and horrible wait times.
This is an automated "digital" service that relies on questionnaires and job applications to create a copy of your resume.

I went with the Zipjob because it had very high ratings on multiple websites, which is completely beyond me. I paid for the premium service. I submitted a very finally tuned and formatted resume that had been reviewed by the vice president of a large medical device company and simply hoped that it would be more eloquently written. When I receive my first draft it looks like a high school template with the writing of a college writing major. If I word to use this copy, I would have to study the day before my interview just so I knew what I was talking about because so much of it was different and not true. They told me that they have a certain guideline on how they build the resumes and it’s in order to pass through an ATS scan. They also removed all of my Marine Corps service and everything I achieved while in the Marine Corps and simply mentioned it at the bottom of the resume. When I asked them if they would put it back on my resume and include all the details of what I achieved, they told me they would have to speak with the writing team to get that cleared. I was blown away and would not recommend this service to anyone.
My friend who is a senior recruiter for a medical device company told me that I should ask for a refund immediately and when I reached out to Zipjob they told me they do not do refunds and that they will assign me a new writer.
$435 dollars wasted. Please do not use them!

I saved so much time and aggravation by using ZipJobs' services. The process was straightforward and their turnaround time was excellent. Jeremy was easy to work with and I was surprised that we never needed a phone call. Overall I'm thrilled with how my resume/cover letter turned out.

With the revamp of my new ATS-friendly formatted resume. I’m getting more interviews for AE Positions. I really enjoyed this service it was fast, efficient, and easy to use. I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a new career opportunity.

I chose the resume plus cover letter package. I filled out the questionnaire and provided my current resume. The first draft was returned quickly, but was astonishingly bad - essentially my current resume regurgitated back in a slightly different form. I redlined the resume and returned it back. With 1 week to get through 2 revisions, I did not hear back until the last day. The 2nd draft of my resume included some, but not all, of my revision requests, and was generally an extremely low-effort attempt. I literally could have done the work myself. I did not have time to leave comments on the second draft in time, so I had to accept the pathetic resume I paid for. I'm sure experience varies by the writer that is assigned to you, but buyer beware - these are not (all) industry experts.

Was having problems with my email and customer service was spectacular!! They were so patient with me no matter how many times I called. Zipjob provided me with all the documentation I needed to get prepared for the job interview process.

I don't feel like this was worth the money for the Premium package. Like some of the other reviews here, I heard back from my writer, Sophia, within 24 hours after submitting everything in the survey along with two versions of my old resumes. What I got back was full of lies (I get that you have to embellish a little, but she put things in that weren't even remotely true!) I sent her back my edits along with letting her know how disappointed I was. I then waited close to a week to get my next draft back and when I got it back, it was a little better but needed more work getting into the nitty gritty of what I did at each employer.
I then wrote all my edits and asked a few questions about what she thought would sound better - she is the expert after all. What I got back as my "final" draft was atrocious! She just copied what I wrote in my edits and didn't try to even finesse it at all. Instead of giving me feedback on what works best, she just added everything in while I was looking for a bit of a discussion. Not to mention all the grammatical errors, run on sentences and sentences that made absolutely no sense whatsoever! I was so angry that I wasted money on something I could have pulled together myself! She clearly just wanted to be done with me and threw whatever crap together to make me go away.
I would really not recommend this service to anyone, you'd probably have better luck with someone on Fiverr.

While the finished product looked great to me, and my writer communicated fast. I have gotten more declines then interviews. I don’t think it was worth the money. For the money I paid, maybe we phone consultation should of came with it. You buy the most expensive package. That should include everything, but guess it’s not everything.

Of course you can buy that during purchase.

Final product looked good but def a template and not much was altered from my original. Thought a this would bring out the work experience I was unable to communicate myself.

Purchase best package at full price but was it worth it?

I went with zipjobs because it was highly rated. To be honest, I have no idea how it's rated so high. I purchased the middle range package which included a resume and cover letter. I was excited to see a quick turnaround. Once I read the resume, I saw why.

It is very clear that they did little more than feed my old resume into an algorithm that spit it out in a different format. The "keywords" for an ATS system were inserted in such a campy way, it's like the old days of keyword stuffing in SEO (search engine optimization). There were tons of grammatical and spelling errors, which tells me a "resume expert" never really reviewed it. Even worse, they took my most relevant experience, removed the description and dates, and stuffed it in the bottom as "other experience". How is someone going to get a job when all their management experience is stripped out!?

In addition, they hurry you to accept it. After a couple of requests for revision, they just wouldn't do anymore. This service is a complete waste of time and money.

Katherine was amazing through the process. She was sensitive to what I needed and produced a resume that looked very professional.

The resume was great but the dates of employment were wrong and I had to fix it myself. I reached back out to get them to fix it but could not reach anyone. This company is great within a time window but outside of that, not so much.

I have to say that this is the first resumé that I have actually been excited about! That speaks volumes, as I am 63 and have had quite a few iterations of my resumé over the years! Jamie did an excellent job and was very quick with making the changes we discussed over the phone after my review of the draft.

Composing a resumé is the one thing I absolutely hate doing. You managed to make this process pleasurable for me! Thank you!
