A lady named Zelda did my resume and she was introduced to me by Jacob Shepard. I got a resume full of grammer mistakes. The resume writer had the audacity to defend her mistakes and the the guy who introduced her asked me to follow up with customer support when I expressed my dissatisfaction.

I received a resume that looked like it was written by a high schooler, in order to follow their "process" I would have been basically writing it myself. Tried to get my money back due to the BS process and got nothing. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE

Terrible Resume! The person writing my resume did not know how to speak English, the wording on my resume was broken English, I had to send it back to them 4 times with notes on their errors, and the final resume was just as bad. I have been sending my resume to countless jobs and I have not gotten one interview. Me being a manager for over 10 years, if I saw my resume I would not respond either. And of course ZipJob will not refund, this company is a joke and I recommend to anyone looking for a resume, GO ELSWHERE! ZipJob is a waist of time and money.

This service was awful and my resume was weak after the last revision. On the website it states there is a money back guarantee if there is no interview after 60 days of the new resume. My resume was done in the beggining of December 2022 and I have not received a single interview after I purchased these services. It is now May of 2023. The company refuses to give me my money back. The representative that I spoke with gave me a hard time when I asked to speak to the manager, stating that my issue wasn't relavent.

Run away.

The customer service is terrible. It takes them over a week to reply to anyone.

I paid for the top option they had. it has been 60 days and I have had ZERO interviews. ZERO.

Before using ZipJob, I was getting 1/2 a week and thought I could get more, but sadly they have essentially wasted two months of a job search for me and my family.

Making matters worse, when I reach out they take about a week to reply and don't offer any support. DO NOT USE

Bought the $189 package. Have switched careers and wants a new resume to reflect that. They asked I send in my resume which I did. They asked for my current job duties which I provided and they sent the draft which was essentially EXACTLY what I had sent them. I asked why not much was changed he said it met ATS standards. I asked for a revised copy not what I had just sent in and he said what do I want him to change. So basically you are paying $189 to write it yourself. I ran it through multiple resume grading sites and it failed every damn one. My writer was HARVEY D. Don’t waste your money with them!

Purchased the platinum package, a 3 day turn around time on the resume. The writer stated they’re were having a family emergency and I was sympathetic to that. It’s now been 30 + days and I still do not have a resume.

As a 32 year IT professional, I sent my resume to this service. I purchased the extra rush service and the cover letter options.

After receiving the first draft from the writer I knew I wasn't going to be happy with the product they produced.

The wording used in the resume looked like something written from an automated tool rather than an actual writer. And the paragraphs of the resume ran together and were so long that they didn't make sense.

I marked up the first draft and sent back to the writer giving them my input about some aspects of my displeasure in the draft. The 2nd draft was minimally improved.

I promptly asked for a full refund. After 4 days I received an email from them telling me that they would not honor my request for a refund.

I purchased the $189 package with a $75 two day turn around on 3/3. On 3/7 I got an email that my Resume was just assigned to someone. I informed them that if this is just getting assigned, I would like a refund. No reply. I just got an email now on 3/8 stating that they just reassigned it to someone else. So, no reply to my email, no acknowledgement of my request, but time to pass around my order/resume like a "hot potato", got it. I do not recommend ZipJob, many other qualified and quality resume writing sites out there.

I paid for premium service which promised delivery in 3 days, and took 7 days only to find a writer.

After that, comes in my first draft. It contains some copy paste from job descriptions in market, plus some technical skills I don't have. So I had to use my time in making sure gross and embarrassing mistakes where not in. This is not something worth 300 $ of professional service.

Not to mention I paid 50 $ on top, for a 30 min call with the writer, and the writer would not show up. After an email with a request to reschedule, I get a reply "it seems we missed each other today would you please reschedule". That this is embarrassing is an understatement.

I would not recommend at all.

Last but not least, at the beginning I got contacted by a very good salesman before buying the service who really helped me out on my decision. After the sale was completed and during the process of delivery, got redirected for the problems above to the writer. Customer service not existing at all.

I was thoroughly disappointed with every aspect of the services purchased from ZipJob. I purchased a resume, cover letter, linkedin profile, and consultation call. None of the documents I received were usable nor were any of my concerns addressed either on the phone or in written communication. None of the documents were proofed for grammar or accuracy based on the information given. I would give zero stars and suggest not wasting your money.

I paid for premium service which promised delivery in 3 days. But they took 3 weeks to deliver after multiple emails of follow up. My resume font was not even consistent and my cover letter is of copy paste from job descriptions in market. This is not something of professional service. I felt like copy paste and too much delay in service. I wasted my money of 300$ on premium service without receiving any proper professional quality resume. I would not recommend at all.

SCAM SCAM SCAM - Fake positive reviews, fake SEO websites, and when they get enough callouts they change the branding to a new company.

I had them write my resume twice both times the writer claimed that they are qualified but they weren't. They guaranteed a job interview in a package but that didn't happen because the resume wasn't good enough. I wouldn't recommend their service!

Zipjob truly helped me make a BIG career move. I've always known my worth just never knew how to describe or show that on a resume. I took the risk and paid for them to redo my resume, LinkedIn, and CL. I am not lying. Not even a week later I accepted a job that is DOUBLE my salary, 8-4, and work from home. This is a blessing. I am so dang happy with zipjob! Sal was amazing! He listened to all my concerns and even changed the color and font of my resume. I received both revisions quickly. I was stuck with a company for 2 years working 8-6 pay check to pay check. I have a degree and with my old resume I still couldn't get the interview. I knew once I got the interview I'd get the job, but my resume was a huge roadblock. So thank you thank you thank youuuuuuuuu so dang much zipjob & sal for helping me land my dream job!!!

I'm a writer currently tied up with several ongoing projects. I needed a resume to submit to a potential client and went to ZipJob after reading reviews.

Unfortunately, what I received looked like something written by a poorly programmed AI platform. I may be able to salvage the resume after I was given a second draft, but the LinkedIn profile update was - and I hate to say this - straight garbage.

I would have been better off looking for someone local to help me with my needs. If you are looking for someone to help you write a resume, I would suggest you go the same route.

PAY ATTENTION TO THE BAD REVIEWS! I disregarded the bad review because somehow there are many good reviews about ZipJob. They offer subpar resume writing services. It is not worth the money. Their resume writers create resumes that have incoherent sentences and spelling errors. They take your notes and drop them in the resume even though it would not make sense. I ask for a new resume writer and they just did what the first one did. Paid no attention to my notes and the work I did to fix the resume. Worst of all they only offer you a measly 30% refund.

I am a follow up executive client from last year (2021). I've have a couple different roles that needed to be added to my resume, and also needed to get it verified through an ATS system for online submittals. Jacob, my account manager... and Traci, my lead writer, did a fantastic job of replying quickly and keeping me posted on the progress. Thank you for your help, team!

I signed up for the services back in June of 2021, understanding there was a GUARANTEE of receiving 200% more interviews after the rewrite. I signed up for their “premium” package which also states I would get an update to my LinkedIn page and a cover letter. After the initial rewrite, I received 0 interviews within their 60-day period and also NEVER received a LinkedIn page update. After expressing these issues both verbally and through email, I only received an updated Resume, no cover letter or LinkedIn update. I recently reached out again as I have yet to receive any interviews and no updated LinkedIn page. After expressing my concerns, they outright REFUSE to rewrite my resume, and stated that they only do a one-time rewrite and then decided that I wasn’t dedicating enough time towards job applications and stated I need to spend more time completing this and to look on their Blog page for additional “tips.” They also stated they ran it through their “system” and it looks fine. I replied to them stating I didn’t need “tips” and that I wanted a rewrite or a refund per their “guarantee.” After being asked to provide examples of jobs I applied for (which was not possible as those postings closed) I was only able to provide samples of similar postings. The response I received was essentially a giant “F*** You” as they claimed I wasn’t applying for the right types of positions and then finally included a rewrite for my LinkedIn page. Upon me responding stating I was only able to give them samples, I have yet to receive a response. I attempted to contact their customer support and was told they won’t rewrite or refund the money stating they “fulfilled their guarantee.” Clearly, they don’t honor what they post on their website and refuse to take ownership of that fact. STAY AWAY as they are scam artists looking to prey on people who have been struggling to get a job or even an interview. They WILL NOT help you and WILL NOT honor what they post all over their website. They will LIE and claim they sent you documents you never received and do not have anything properly time stamped (they told me they sent me documents on x when they sent them 3 days later, etc.). They will shove their “Terms of Service” in your face and down your throat. If you’re considering signing up for their services, DON’T; you will be throwing your money away.

I had a resume that I wanted wordsmithed and reviewed. What I got back was this mess of a document that was very difficult to read. The wording seemed way off as if they didn't even read my original documents.
