I had my car serviced at Ryders

I had my car serviced at Ryders, Warrington recently.
I was very pleased with how everything went, all the work was done efficiently and in good time.
Also Emma and Nathan were so helpful and friendly.
Best wishes, Tom

Very poor customer service.

Contacted them about a replacement part for my car. Took my details many times via live chat, phone call and email. Never got back to me. Was always the excuse that the parts team were away from desk.

This is just not good enough. It’s ridiculous. Very poor customer service. Do not use this company. Awful.

Recently had my car serviced at Ryders…

Recently had my car serviced at Ryders after one year since purchase. Nathan was so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble for him. It felt like I was stepping back in time with good old fashioned service. When I change my car, I will make Ryders my first point of call.

Definitely won't be using again

Definitely won't be using again, thought I would use a reputable garage to get my car sorted, booked it in 3 weeks ago for today, book the day off work, get up early to take it in and get told the part hasn't arrived, come back in two weeks! No courtesy call to let me know, I could of saved a day's holiday. The lady in the office was lovely and very apologetic but this is disgusting customer service!

6 years of excellent service

I've been using this dealership for servicing my two Hyundai electric vehicles for six years. I could go to other more local dealers but chose to use Ryders due to the quality of service.
Throughout the time they have dealt with recalls and faults without any issue. All the service staff are polite and organised (I've mainly dealt with Sarah and Emma). The courtesy cars are well presented. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good service. I've just sold my hyundai so won't be using them again in the short term but I may buy another hyundai and if I do, this is where I'll take it.
Thank you for six years of stress free service.

The best new car buying experience I’ve had…

Steve and the team at Ryders made buying my new car easy and an enjoyable experience. The price was the best in the country and they offer better lease and finance deals than other dealerships. They even sent a driver to pick me up in Leeds for collection.

The Ionic 5 N is an engineering masterpiece and the fit and finish is as good as you would expect on a performance VW.

I’m hugely impressed with my first Hyundai experience!

Awful service

Awful service. Arranged for a test drive Saturday morning on a vehicle, had a phone call with one of the salesman earlier today (Stephen) who agreed Saturday would be fine. I queried about leaving a deposit to secure the vehicle and Stephen himself advised me not to leave a deposit until tomorrow as in his words “this wouldn’t hold the vehicle until then” (less than 48 hours which is very odd), I’ve now just been told at 6pm today that they have sold the vehicle to someone else. After emailing Stephen back to express how disappointed I am especially as he told me not to deposit he has then called me and was then extremely rude on the phone and his response was highly unprofessional.

Sorted my warranty issues and sorted my car out

I have a Hyundai i40 still under the manufacturer's warranty. It developed a few problems and Hyundai made me jump through a few hoops to finally get them to cover the work which by the way was an expensive job. I have to say Ryders helped me jump through the 'hoops' and they've now completed the work all under warranty and the car is performing extremely well for a mileage of over 100K.
Very grateful for their help.
Despite the difficulty getting Hyundai to honour their warranty, I'd still say my i40 is about the best car I've had.

First class

Excellent customer service, especially from Lindsey. We cannot fault Ryder's commitment. The best dealership we have used. A big 'thank you' from a satisfied customer.

Used Car Sale Price Does Not Include Floor Mats

I purchased a used car from them for just short of £9000, when I picked up the car I realised it had no floor mats. I therefore went immediately back into the dealership to tell the sales person (I assumed it was a mistake). I was told it doesn't come with mats and that they are £50. To be fair the same sales person sent me an email to state that he would try and find some floor mats. I then picked these up and found they are from an old MK1 car and don't fit my car.

It's a small thing but it shows that their view of customer care or customer experience is lacking.

£9K for a used small 5 year old car and it has no floor mats. I have now returned the old mats and purchased some from another dealership.

Do not do business with Ryders of…

Do not do business with Ryders of Warrington. They will agree to reserve a car by taking £500 from you and then call you back 36hrs before viewing asking for another £1500 pounds to keep the vehicle. They are just sharks, obviously had interest off another party because there trade in price for my car was £2000 pounds less than We Buy Any Car. So my daughter replied l will not trade my car in then, and that is when they demanded another £1500 to secure and reserve .The salesman was arrogant and aggressive when my daughter asked why they needed this other money . Not what you expect from Hyundai main dealer. Our experience will be passed onto Hyundai UK customer services to let them know of our appalling experience

Avoid dealing with Ryders of Warrington

Tread very carefully if you intend to do business with Ryders of Warrington. They will say anything to get you to buy one of their top priced cars, but once you have delivery of the vehicle their promises are soon forgotten and the excuses start. Then they become nasty from the salesman, to the General Manager and their Director.
As a condition before I purchased one of their cars they said they would carry out remedial paintwork to the car BEFORE it was delivered.
It was delivered as arranged but I immediately noticed the bodywork damage had not been repaired. The salesman apologised but said there was a small bottle of touch up paint in the glove compartment and I could carry out the necessary paintwork repairs myself !!
I said I would prefer their professional people to do the job.
I was told it would take them a "couple of hours" to do the job and I took the car to their workshop only to be told that the damage to the wheel arch and front bumper would need to be sprayed, so I returned home with the car.
I then received a vexatious telephone call from their salesman who shouted at me (a sick 80 year old) saying that he never told me they would respray the damage to the wing. He wouldn't listen to my explanation that it was their workshop foreman who said it needed spraying - not me !
Eventually I spoke to Scott Ryder who said they would repair the defects as promised and he arranged for the car to be picked up from my home in Bolton and take it to their workshop where it was kept for more than a day and a half. When it was returned, the damage to the paintwork had been done, in a fashion, but looked amateurish.
I sent a letter to Scott Rider detailing my dissatisfaction but he didn't reply himself. Instead, the General Manager telephoned me and abruptly told me they were not prepared to do anything else.
He did, however, say I could return the car by the end of the week for a full refund, knowing full well that doing so would put me in a worse position then when I bought the car because I had by then sold my old car and not only would it have been quite a problem to return to Bolton from Warrington but I would then have a problem visiting other places to buy another car.
Much as I don't want to, because of my health problems, I am considering legal action against Ryders.
So my message is " Beware" of this company who will change their attitude once you have bought a car if you find any problems with it.

Unprofessional from start to finish

I purchased a car from this garage a little while ago and the service I have been provided by them is absolutely appalling. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional dealership in all the years that I have been purchasing cars. I took my car in for a few warranty issues, although one of the issues they never resolved. Upon its last booking they did not return my car back to me that day despite them collecting it first thing in the morning and advising it would be back before I finished work. I received a call to say that it would not be back and they would bring me a courtesy car which was fine. Luckily I took a picture of my Dash showing fuel and mileage in the car as when it was returned it had an extra 100 miles on the clock and they'd used 1/2 tank of fuel. When I challenged them about it they tried to deny all knowledge but I told them that I had pictures of the dash to prove it. They certainly were not happy and have subsequently banned me from the garage, even though they sold me the car. Be very wary of buying a car or taking your car into this garage as this is the type of service you can expect.
