The onboarding experience was actually simple, smooth, and efficient. Everything went well initially, which makes the current situation even more disappointing.
The only issue that has negatively impacted my overall experience is the handling of the security deposit refund. Despite several follow-ups, I have received no meaningful update, timeline, or response regarding its return.
Had there been clear communication, this matter could have been resolved easily. Instead, the lack of information left me with no choice but to escalate the issue to Dubai Consumer Rights.
I hope this situation is resolved quickly, as it is currently the only thing overshadowing an otherwise positive customer experience.

I rented a vehicle from Quick Drive from Dec 30, 2025, to Jan 30, 2026. The security deposit of AED 1,500 was charged to my credit card. Because the billing was already completed, they requested the bank details via WhatsApp to process a wire transfer refund.
I provided all the necessary account information immediately, but since then, they have completely ignored all my messages and inquiries. It has been nearly 4 months, and I still haven't received my deposit back. Total lack of communication and terrible customer service. I highly recommend avoiding this company unless you want your deposit stolen. I will be taking official legal action through Dubai Consumer Rights.
Holding Security Deposit Illegally – Avoid Quick Drive
Avoid Quick Drive Rent A Car at all costs. I rented a vehicle (Rental Voucher: D012233652) and have been fighting to get my security deposit of 1,379.72 AED refunded.
It has been months since the car was returned perfectly on time with no damages or fines. I have called weekly and repeatedly messaged their Accounts & Finance team via WhatsApp. Their team explicitly promised me the refund over text, but they have now completely stopped responding and ghosted all my communication.
This is a direct violation of Dubai consumer protection laws, which mandate deposit returns within 30 days. Since the company refuses to communicate or return my money, I am filing a formal complaint with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) Consumer Protection division today. Do not trust this company with your money.

Instead of paying parking fine 170 aed, I end up paying 208 AED bcs of their admin fee( which is only scam to make extra money from customers) instead of saying to pay on parkin app.

i have been waiting for my refund of the deposit since the 17th of march and i am now starting to believe that they are just going to keep it.
last contact was on march 18th and both the service department and the financial department has now stopped responding.

It's been a month and a half since I returned the car, and I still haven't received my deposit back. The deposit was supposed to be returned within a month. The company doesn't respond to messages. The rental experience itself was good, when I returned the car, the person said everything was fine, but I still don't have my money.

Sadly I have read reviews only after Quick Drive team started to avoid my messages and play that everything is fine.
I have rented a car which was ok. The vehicle was picked up on 2026-01-22. Leaving car was also with no issues which was on 2026-01-27. Before leaving car I have asked when deposit (1000 AED) will be refunded and got answer that it will be transfer to my bank in 25 days. After term passed, avoidance started.
First they have moved me to +971 50 899 4892, and after ignorance and useless promises they even shared screenshot that deposit was refunded to my bank account. However, in reality it never came. When I reached them again, they promised to transfer my dispute to manager and check with a bank. They are still checking...
Update after company response 2026-04-07: Quick drive confirmed that refund amount amount is aed 902.35 after deducting pending salik and according them transaction was processed, however 30 days passed from car return, deadline was Feb 26, 2026, today is April 7, 2026, which is 40 days late from deadline. Still no communication from QuickDrive team, no refund in my bank account and no explanation what is wrong or when I will get refund back to my bank account.

Very poor experience and bad behavior of all the stuff they take from me 1500 aed and didn't block this amount and give it back after a lot of messages they return through western union less money beacose the rate was low...they are stealing money and made this very disappointing experience...don't rent from them even they are cheap ...

Long Wait, Empty Tank, Deposit Withheld
My experience with this rental company was extremely disappointing and frustrating.
The pickup was arranged as a “meet and greet,” yet I had to wait over an hour before receiving the vehicle. When the car was finally delivered, it had an almost empty gas tank, which was unacceptable and created immediate inconvenience at the start of my rental.
I also paid a security deposit using my credit card. After the rental ended, the company refused to return the deposit to the original form of payment and instead requested my bank account information. I was not comfortable sharing my banking details, as refunding to the original payment method is standard practice.
Because the deposit was not returned, I had to involve my credit card company. After reviewing the documentation, and after 3.5 months of waiting, I finally received my security deposit back.
The entire experience, from pickup delays to the deposit issue, was stressful and unprofessional. I will never rent a car from this company again, and I strongly encourage others to clarify all policies in writing before booking.

I was a repeat customer, but I will never use your company again or recommend it to others — something I had done in the past. The downgrade terms were not stated in the contract, yet you refused to refund the price difference.

Received the car on 21/12/2025 and made 2 payments - the balance for the car rental and the Refundable security deposit.
We returned the car on 28/12/2025

No deposit back again
I booked for the second time with QuickDrive. The booking was through DiscoverCar choice so I didn't know which supplier it was, before the booking was done, otherwise I wouldn't have booked with them again. Anyway, I gave QuickDrive another chance and the experience was exactly the same as last time. The car and getting and returning the car was ok. But the customer support is slow and incomprehensible. After almost three months, I'm still waiting for my deposit back. Whenever I contact support, after a few days they say "sir, we are processing your payment it will come soon". More than a month has passed since they claim they have paid back the deposit, no sign of the money and no proper answer. Quickdrive has a systematic issue with deposit returns.
