The return policy is outrageous. I paid £9 to return a shoddy item and they now have it stored on a pallet waiting for it to 'fill up' before returning it to the US and before refunding my money. Even before I discovered this new 'policy', there were problems with the refund process. This could take months and it looks like this has happened to other customers.
After writing this, I looked at other comments and followed the useful advice of someone who suggested making a claim via my credit card and I have done so. Recommend everyone else does this too!
Two days later and I have been asked to provide further information to Peruvian Connection to verify my 'experience' which is surprising because they know perfectly well that this is happening and fortunately I have the evidence through an email chain which is now with my credit card company.
I now see they have left a message which shows they have no understanding of UK laws and are not fit to operate in this country. I have been buying clothes from PC since 1998 but no longer. I prefer to trust my credit card company to ensure a refund before these people go bankrupt due to the many bad experiences noted on Trustpilot by other customers around the world.

I used to love Peruvian Connection and I still like their products; however, their business practices are abysmal. A while back, they removed the ability to leave product reviews, so you can't find out about sizing and others' experiences before placing an order. There are very few brick and mortar stores, which means that transactions are mostly online. Their return policy says that returns will be processed within 3 weeks, but they don't meet even this. I am now beyond 3 weeks of PC receiving a return with no action. I have contacted them about it 3 times to no avail. The customer service reps are very nice and seem to sincerely want to help, but these issues need to be addressed at a higher level.

Their sizing is off. You cannot exchange an item but instead must return and reorder in a different size. It takes OVER three weeks for a credit to your card or a store credit and multiple phone calls. Although I like their products, it is not worth the hassle.

I ordered a matching top and pants and received the top about a week later. I looked at my credit card charges soon after and noticed that I was charged for the top only, on March 26, 2026. I called the company to find out why I hadn’t received the pants and was told they were back ordered. I told them that other companies make that clear before the customer orders, and gives an approximate date of availability. The woman said the manufacturer hasn’t provided that. I would never have ordered the top only, and a 2nd call provided no new info. Now, 7 weeks after placing my order, I’ve heard nothing, and if I send back the top, it looks like a refund is problematic!

I received an item that was the wrong size on a used garment advertised as extra large but received a medium. Ed(treet) asked that i send photos which I did. He said that he would not help & that my best bet was to resell the item. This is totally unacceptable as I paid almost $100 with shipping. Peruvian Connection has really gone downhill. I had been a long-standing customer. I will NEVER buy from them or even set foot in their Santa Fe store again.

I love their clothes - although cannot afford them too often. However the sizing can vary considerably and I have been waiting since February for a returns label for a sweater which was too small. They tell me the system is being updated. Really? For an expensive company this is not unacceptable. Please explain why it is taking sooooooooooooooooo long just to get a returns label.

Still waiting for a returns label from September 2025. Regularly chasing and usual reply problem with obtaining a returns label. Why don’t they be honest and say it is not going to happen and stop fobbing off all their customers. Have approached trading standards for advice.

Hi everyone, if you paid for your items with a credit card you can claim a refund through your credit card company under section 75 of the consumer act. The credit card company will then pursue the refund with Peruvian Connection.

Update: I am still waiting for resolution of their "technical issue" relating to returns labels, in order to return items - and receive a refund of about £400 - for items ordered in November 2025. It beggars belief that these "technical issues" are still plaguing the company. Customer Services are polite and solicitous in the circumstances, but a now-17 week wait is really quite unacceptable. I can't help thinking my statutory Consumer Rights are being breached here somehow!

Since November 2025 I have been waiting for a return label. I have been in touch five times! I’m told there is a problem with return labels which is being sorted. They continue to sell. Surely without a system for customers to return, continued sales must be illegal. Last week I threatened legal redress. Today I have been told that
I can return goods to Huntingdon. Without return label. They will send item to USA where my garment will be inspected. If deemed OK they will then return my money! All will take weeks. If this is their system it should be explained on every purchase. DON’t BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.
Your response is the same nonsense I have received FIVE TIMES since November. My concern now is that you are still selling but it cannot be legal to sell merchandise without a system of returns.

Never buying from them again. 4 weeks to get a refund when their site says 5 to 7 business days. They lie to you on the phone when you ask for a manager. Quality of product has significantly decreased. I am moving over to Celtic &Co.

The standards and quality of goods sold by Peruvian Connection diminished.
The marketing is still clever but goods are very poor quality.
Huge issue with return labels, which cannot be sent.
This is disgraceful business and use of customers’ money.
There is no indication on ten website re: return problem.

I ordered (paid) almost £800.00 to Peruvian Connection for two items. This was many weeks ago. Peruvian Connection arranged for Fedex to deliver. They will only do so if I sign for it. They do not give a time and I work full time away from home. I called Peruvian Connection many times to ask them to leave at the side of my front door just like Amazon, Next and other well run businesses. I also tried to contact FedEx. Despite my efforts it is obvious there will be no delivery. A few days ago I cancelled the order. Peruvian Connection refuses to refund me my money. They say it has to be returned to the warehouse. And shockingly, I learned for the first time that Peruvian Connection means the warehouse in Kansas. I was led to believe there was a warehouse in the UK. In fact, there is not. All they have is a telephone number but they still constantly advertise as if they are properly operating in the UK.
I do not know when I will ever get my money back. Peruvian Connection refuses to budge.
This is disgraceful and dishonest behaviour. If I had been told this before I would never have bought anything.
I will never buy from Peruvian Connection again but unless they change their policies. They should be immediately refunding me my money. They have no right to keep it. This is not legal under UK law.

Update 29th March . I bought a dress which turned out to have completely different proportions to previous similar dresses. I requested a return but they said they had no system in place atm for uk returns and were trying to remedy this. I have just been left waiting …so I would not recommend Uk customers buying from pc atm.
Iam a longstanding Peruvian connection customer , so I know the cuts and the sizing . I love the tops , skirts dresses and the patterned nightwear .
. I have ordered 4 other items in the last 2 months and they have all arrived promptly and been good .it would be good to have garment sizes or reviews . I hope they sort the returns issue very soon.

88yr old - purchased from this company since it was started by Ann and her daughter! Everything now gone wrong! Latest order -- dress too large-- no way will this company arrange a returns label! Customer service give same rhetoric time and time again! I spent £150 of my pension for a special occasion
but cannot get this item returned-- how can we stop companies like this exploiting their customers? I think dear old Ann would be turning in her grave to see her daughter ruining the company she set up. DONT be tempted to buy from this bombardment of brochures.!!!

Have been a regular customer for years. My order was placed end of NOV and I started requesting a refund in DEC. All I was receiving were what seemed like CHAT GPT responses back when I was chasing a returns label as the portal was having 'technical issues'.
Last week I decided after chasing my return on a weekly basis to request a charge back from my bank account. This was refunded immediately. I have just received an email from Peruvian Connection expressing apologies and that there is no label generated. A store credit of only £35 was given as compensation which I find laughable.

I placed an order back in October 2025. Part of it came but a skirt never did show up. I contacted customer service, they gave me a date that is was to deliver and again never showed up. I thought perhaps the item was out of stock but it showed as available in the catalogue and online so 3 weeks ago I placed an order and ordered it again, along with 3 other items. Everything was supposed to arrive today and I have received nothing, no notification about backorders or any other issue, so once again I am contacting customer service trying to find out what happened to my order. I have been a customer for many years, but I will never be ordering from this company again. Ordering from them is like throwing a coin in a fountain and hoping your order will arrive.

Not 1* should be 000* I have now been waiting for six weeks to receive a returns label to send back an item. I just get endless replies to emails and phone call saying their returns portal needs fixing and will be up and running in a few days. That’s for the last five weeks. Looks as if this is a universal experience- and something that’s been going on since last summer! Will now be looking for some legal redress and return of my money. They must be sitting on thousands of pounds of customer cash. I’ve bought from them before but NEVER again.
One week later, now seven weeks waiting for return details from Peruvian Connection. In the meantime another worthless response from them below. Read TrustPilot reviews on their returns and you’ll realise that this response is just verbiage. Not expecting to be able to return item. I won’t be shopping with them again.
