If I could leave minus stars I would

If I could leave minus stars I would. Our small family run business ordered two signs from them, one was very late after saying it would only take a fortnight and had been altered from the proof reading stage, making it unusable. The second we have never even seen. We are now going to take them to the small claims court for our money, although I doubt this would bother them as we are not the first. This has been going on since September 24 and we are now in April 25

Imattination delivered outstanding…

Imattination delivered outstanding service with quick turnaround times, reliable communication, and great product quality. Perfect for Temple Spa needs, like cotton bags and detox brochures. Beth and Marie were very helpful, ensuring everything arrived on time. Any issues were swiftly resolved with excellent customer care. Highly recommend for both quality and professionalism!

My temple spa bags to go!

I found cotton bags that I can go shopping with to advertise Temple Spa. I love them, great size, great handles perfect for to use everyday and also at my experiences. Love the colours too.
I also ordered the lovely detox brochures for my experiences fir my clients. Love the quality.

Refused to pay charity fundraising

Ok so there’s a lot to unpack with the reply to my original review. Firstly, we’ve been trying to resolve this for 18 months. It took less than 20 MINUTES for them to respond on this platform. Seems like a public dressing down was the only way to prompt contact.

Secondly, a cursory review of Companies House shows that Matt Bloomfield is a director of both Imattination and also Unicorn Online Ltd so I’m not convinced on this whole “oh it was this other company who was supposed to pay you”.

Next up, I will copy and paste from a message sent from Matt in Sept 2022 so I’m not misquoting: “Hi […], Thanks for getting in touch and we would love to have you onboard again. Yes we are running the same scheme - we have made a few adjustments to make it even easier and also even more new products. We can have sheets out this week to you and are recommending an artwork collection date of 19th October so just before half term”

Doesn’t sound to me like they weren’t running the same scheme as the year before?

But most damning is the complete lack of communication. Let’s pretend for a moment that it really is this other company that owes us the money. When we called, emailed, left messages, wrote letters and even took Imattination to the small claims court, would you not at some point simply say “oh it’s not us, you need to contact xyz”. The fact that they didn’t contest the CCJ shows to me that they knew they were in the wrong. And don’t tell me they didn’t know we were claiming against them because at one point they asked for a 2 week extension. Before allowing it to be registered and still not paying up.

So Imattination, you can be “confused” and “disappointed” all you like but it’s nothing compared to our confusion and disappointment at funds being withheld from a children’s charity.

We are a charity who raise funds for our local Plymouth primary school, and placed an order for child-designed Christmas cards and wrapping paper etc in December 2022. We were due to receive a % of all funds raised. The ordering process was tortuous to say the least and many parents were unhappy with the quality of the products, but they did at least (eventually) deliver them. However there was no sign of the funds raised. Eventually we had to apply for (and were awarded) a CCJ. This didnt prompt Imattination to pay us a penny. I see they're associated with several children's theatre and youth groups and it’s really disappointing to know that they have withheld funds from our children's charity whilst continuing to trade and be involved with other organisations. We've been trying to contact someone at Imattination for almost 18 months now. Phone messages, emails, Facebook messenger contacts all go unanswered. Horrible company with clearly no morals or scruples

Thank you for your review, although we are a little confused as according to our records, we conducted a Charity Christmas Card scheme with you in November 2021 and on completion of this in the December and approval of the scheme balance you received the funds in full via Bank Transfer which we can send full evidence to you for, and we have confirmation from yourselves that this funding was received.

As a company this was the last year that we offered such a scheme and have not offered any scheme of this nature since this. As of the start of 2022 elements across our company were either removed or sold to other organisations as part of a large-scale restructuring process. During this hand over we may have continued in a trade/supply relationship with these companies, however, any scheme and financial workings were no longer managed or executed by us.

We are therefore disappointed that a review has been left with ourselves when this is nothing to do with us and a successful 2021 scheme was operated with finances in full paid out.

To try and resolve this, we have however have spoken to the company who this element was sold too and they have asked you to email them to resolve this at cs@thehappyunicorn.co.uk.

Still waiting for order 3 weeks later and no communication

Ordered on the 20th and still waiting nearly 3 weeks later. Sent 3 emails, called numerous times and nobody ever answers the phone. Really poor service and would not recommend. On reading other reviews it seems this happens a lot with Immatination.
Got a reply after leaving this above review regarding a 10 working day delay. The last time I checked there are 31 days in May and today is the 8th so that’s 14 working days. Same person who looks at the calendar must also have written the phantom email I never received asking if I want my order, because sending 3 emails asking where my order was is obviously not clear enough that I wanted what I ordered

Do not recommend! Poor service.

This is the 2nd we have used imattination for our school fundraising projects. The first time we had to chase our orders but there was communication. The money owed to us from this company took 4 months and again we had to chase this.
The second time, our orders did not come on time, orders were missing, communication was really poor and to get our orders we had to track down the factory address and turn up there for anyone to help us. We kept getting fobbed off and different staff members telling us different things. Eventually we got our orders. However we are again owed fundraising money. It has been 6 months making calls, emails and Facebook messenger and all we get is an automated message.
I would not recommend this company at all. Really poor service, no communication or respect for their customers.

Severely let down

I have used Imattination in the past and they have been excellent: prompt and providing exactly what I needed. However, I placed an order on the 2nd August and after hearing nothing after three weeks (advertised turnaround was 3-5 working days) I decided to get in contact to see what was happening. I phoned on multiple occasions only to be advised that I was speaking to a receptionist and they would get one of the printing team to get back to me ASAP. I called 4 times and sent emails as well as messages via Facebook. Still no response. Eventually I called to request a refund and I was assured that someone would contact me about this (they still haven't). Thankfully I paid via Paypal and was able to recover my money through the Paypal Resolution Centre but they did not respond to the Paypal case so I had to escalate it with Paypal and I was awarded the refund after no response from them. Around the time that I was seeking a refund, there was a new banner on the website to advise that the turnaround was more like 10 working days but by this time 20 working days had passed. Incredibly disappointed after having had such a great service with this company in previous years.

I’ve used this company for about 18…

I’ve used this company for about 18 months now for my personal printing, my Temple Spa Business, and more recently for Xmas cards for my ‘real job’

Matt and his team are helpful and professional. Give them a timescale and they come up with the goods

I never received my product, never even received a refund for the product despite contacting customer services over a period of months. Would never use again.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service! I designed some business cards on their website, they looked amazing. When they arrived they looked nothing like the design I made. I contacted them and after a few days I finally had a response. They claimed their system changed the file format. I’m no tech guy but I can’t see how a design made with their website can magically change its own format. They promised they would change it to how I ordered it and send it out. This was weeks ago! I have sent 8 messages asking when it will be sent, I even informed them I required them before a certain date but still no response. The customer service truly is terrible. Please don’t be fooled by their cheap prices - there’s a reason they are so cheap. AVOID

OVER A MONTH AND NO DELIVERY!

I placed an order with Imattination on the 17th of September which as of today 13/10/21 has still not arrived.

Despite 4 phone calls and endless promises that my order would be delivered by DPD the next working day, my order never arrived.

At first, I was told my order was stuck in their local DPD warehouse which they couldn't recall or arrange and DPD was refusing to deliver any other their orders but was promised my order would be re-issued with Hermes for next day delivery, and I would receive 4 emails with new order information. This didn't happen.

a week later, I was refunded my delivery fees and yet another promise of next day delivery which again never arrived.

Another phone call, and was yet again assured my order would be leaving their warehouse following my phone call, and I would receive an email from DPD/Hermes within 4 hours. Disappointingly, I never received either.

So today I called and cancelled my order and received a full and immediate refund.

I would use caution when using this company and maybe avoid if you're wanting your items for professional purposes.
