The worst purchase experience ever!
I bought a dining table and a sofa from hoeffner schoenberg on 11.03.2022 (week 10) and it was told that I will get dining table after 2 weeks and the sofa after 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, I sent an email and ask for the exact delivery time and they told that I will receive them on week 14 and after a day, they phoned me and said I will get the sofa on April 20 (week 16), and I get a day off from my work as the sofa installation may take some time. On week 15, I recieved the dinning table in a poor packaging and there were no screw in it!!!! I called them and they said that we will send it to you some times in future!!!! And on April 19th afternoon they called me and said that we are not going to send your sofa tomorrow!!!!!!! After calling them several times, I have no dinning table or sofa! We sit on the floor, and I have a very bad backache. I am going to complain them as I have a contract with promised delivery date! Never buy anything from hoeffner.de!!!!!

Ich habe am 11.03.2022 (Woche 10) einen Esstisch und ein Sofa von hoeffner schönberg gekauft und es wurde gesagt, dass ich nach 2 Wochen Esstisch und nach 3 Wochen das Sofa bekomme. Nach 3 Wochen schickte ich eine E-Mail und fragte nach der genauen Lieferzeit und sie sagten, dass ich sie in Woche 14 erhalten werde, und nach einem Tag riefen sie mich an und sagten, ich werde das Sofa am 20. April (Woche 16) bekommen, und Ich bekomme einen Tag frei von meiner Arbeit, da die Sofamontage einige Zeit in Anspruch nehmen kann. In Woche 15 erhielt ich den Esstisch in einer schlechten Verpackung und es waren keine Schrauben drin!!!! Ich habe sie angerufen und sie sagten, dass wir es Ihnen in Zukunft einige Male schicken werden!!!! Und am Nachmittag des 19. April riefen sie mich an und sagten, dass wir Ihr Sofa morgen nicht schicken werden!!!!!! Nachdem ich sie mehrmals angerufen habe, habe ich keinen Esstisch oder kein Sofa! Wir sitzen auf dem Boden und ich habe sehr starke Rückenschmerzen. Ich werde sie reklamieren, da ich einen Vertrag mit versprochenem Liefertermin habe! niemals etwas bei hoeffner.de kaufen!!!!

Do yourself a favor! do not buy furniture from Hoffner!
Our order had five items, and three of them came with issues, each with a different one!
One had so poor quality and was defect, the other one arrived with in color and a shelf came without bolts and plan :)))
Another point I understood is that they are just another type of "Wish" just overpriced one. Most their products comes from east-Asia with no quality control and no inspection, and to be honest, no responsive service. Their after service team answered very wage and did not provide me any acceptable solution. For instance, 14 euros reduction in original price was their option for a damage leg of a serving trolley!!
I regret every euros that I spent in their shop. Hope this review would help some avoid struggling in a same unpleasant situation.
Terrible Produkt / terrible quality / terrible "service"
I ordered a shelf from Möbel Höffner. The product arrived dirty and multiply damaged with me. It was of subterranean quality. I could only dispose of it. On my complaint (including photo documentation) I was informed that Möbel Höffner refuses a refund due to lack of return. - A predictable as well as hypocritical reaction - because the shelf would have been in the case of a return - as can be seen from the photo documentation sent - in any case no longer usable or resalable. But of course, the effort involved in dismantling, repackaging and returning the product is out of all proportion to the prospect of receiving an equally inferior replacement product. Möbel Höffner knows this as well. So it was obviously a pretext of a dubious supplier. I will avoid not only the product, but also Möbel Höffner in the future.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. This company is so old-fashioned with no respect for customers. I placed an order 7 days ago and ordered a simple vase they had in stock. The order has not even been shipped, no communication about it. Terrible customer service. Honestly, never again.
Rude people
If I had read the reviews before, I probably would not have purchased with them :(. Sadly I did not, and my experience with them has been a nightmare as well.
We ordered the wardrobe a month ago and got a delivery date as well (till this point did not have complaints). But then the delivery date arrived, and they arrived with a big truck. And they simply did not deliver as they did not find the parking spot.
I was desperate to get the wardrobe, as I was already waiting for a month now. They found some short-duration parking, I begged them to drop it there and said we will even do setup on our own(though we paid for it), but the guy said not possible. On top of it, they shouted at me. I understand there might be some time constraints for them as well, but how is it our fault? We do not wish to pay and get shouted at. I would rather pay some more money and get it with someone friendlier. And maybe will not be shouted at. Never again.
Still waiting for wardrobe.
Poor customer service
Such a poor customer service I have never experienced in Germany. Order placed more than 5 months before. delaying every time, and whenever I call them they blame their "Manufacturer". but they can not tell me they status / update from their manufacturer. Am I responsible to call your manufacturer?
Now I do not know anything when my delivery will arrive..or it even arrive one day!

Never buy a kitchen from this company
Do yourself a favor, NEVER ever buy a kitchen from them, even if they give you a good discount or deal. We placed the order at their Neuss store almost 1 year ago and still do not have a functioning kitchen. It has been nothing but lies and frustrations. Very unprofessional team. So unorganized. My advice: Pay a little bit more and get quality, service and peace of mind.
Never ever buy things here
Never ever buy things here. Not only their website give you no status to your order, once they take your order money. They don't know you and when you call they hung up on you saying the delivery date not yet available. Which is already too late. They seem to take months to deliver. So prevent yourself the pain and bad service and book from somewhere else please. I am so furious right now that I took time to write here so you know why.
Nie wieder
Nie wieder, Never again. The bed came with broken legs and bed slats (lattenrost) are not fit in the size of the bed. Bad was exact 160cm, expected to be 161cm. Different shuruts, different hats on them. nuts were ripped(not possible to tighten the screw ) off in some places. All claims were denied. Bed for 1k euro should not have such defects.
Not recomennd or at least be prepared for this

We have a serious problem about their service. We ordered 3 furnitures on 11/07/2021. One of them was delivered, the others not. We are waiting others. The deliver date was changed 4 times. We asked before, but dates that telling us changing in every time. The 4th date passed again, and nothing was delivered. We moved in Berlin and Höffner was recommended but their service is the worst we have ever seen. We just want to get an right information about delivery time. If it's going to be after 1 months or last month of the year, they should tell whenever they can send ( but exact date). Because in this way (delay in every week) , it seems like they're kidding us. Excuse of Corona is not an explanation because we bought lots of stuff for our house during the Corona and no one act like Höffner. They just take your money and after that you are alone when furnitures aren't delivered.

Light fitting on order in Hamm..
we ordered a light fitting from the store in Hamm. the staff were very helpful and explained how everything would work.. payment, notification of availablity, collection etc.. we were notified accordingly and the item was collected.. no problems, no dramas.. just how it should be.. thank you 'lighting' team in Hamm.!

We’ve ordered sofa and waited for 21 days till here is okay !!! I was even counting days daily because we had only chair to sit at home! (I’m writing maybe you understand from customers situation as empathy) And in a big day which sofa should arrive both my husband and me took permission from our works and at 08:30 a person called from höffner who is bringing the sofa and said street is not wide but the street is quite normal and available to bring down the sofa !!!Anyway and he said we can’t stop here which makes no sense because here is full of restaurants and daily huge drink transports LKWs stop so it was so simple to stop and take off sofa but he didn’t instead he blocked us without talking and nothing !!!! my husband ran down for helping them because it was strange what he said but they left we couldn’t even see them we don’t know if they even came to here we taught that they didn’t want to carry to 4 th floor my husband called him to help and find solution but in second time he called he blocked!!!!! Which kind of service höffner is providing to customers it was a very bad experience for us!!! And we called call center later and they were rude and didn’t want to even listen we tried to find solution to get sofa by ourselves but we even couldn’t communicate and we gave up ! so we waited for nothing!!!!!!!!! No communication no help no support and there was not even problem but I think they just find excuse for not to bring sofa !!!!!!!!

Not reliable for delivering on time.
They have a good taste of design and good products BUT Not reliable for delivering on time.
I have bought a dining table which I have been told I need to wait 12 weeks for that and 1 week before delivery time they have called that your oder is another 9 weeks delayed, due to corona!!!
I mean 1 or 2 week I can understand but 9 weeks …!!!

They cannot be relied on
We're expecting a kid to be born and ordered a child bed for 2 month in advance. The bed we choose was supposed to be delivered within 1-2 weeks, but after one month I've got an email that my order is cancelled without any explanation. What could be done better is to reach out and provide other options, but they seem just don't care. Just cancel the order and it doesn't matter that customer might end up in trouble due to their neglect.
I called a customer support - this is the worst experience I ever had. They just dropping phones all the time when I politely ask about English options, or just starting asking an order question in Deutsch.
So now my kid should be born in 3 weeks and I don't know whether we manage to get a bed in time. It's really stressful now, as we wanted to prepare everything in time.
The worst. I'd recommend to avoid them.

The worst customer service!
I will write this in English because there’s plenty of reviews in German and foreigners have that much harder of a time with Höffner because their customer service is so bad that if you’re german isn’t too good, they can make it that much easier to ignore you.
DO NOT SHOP WITH HÖFFNER! I bought some things and they did not deliver. Claimed they tried and I wasn’t home. Absolute lie. They claimed they tried calling earlier in the week to reschedule. No calls that day at all. They said they’d call in the afternoon to reschedule. They did not. The initial delivery appointment was 11 days after my purchase. But a new appointment is 3-4 weeks after my first delivery appointment, with no guarantee they won’t do the same thing again. I have also been hung up on by nearly a dozen customer service people. If you try to cancel your order, they make that equally difficult and frustrating. They also will likely cancel you kaufenvertrag clause. I tried for three days straight to resolve the issue. I was patient, friendly, calm, and reasonable, but I was persistent and they just make no effort to meet you anywhere near the middle.
So I wrote an email demanding it be canceled. I went to my bank and explained my situation. They forced the money to be returned. And then I found the same items for sale at a smaller store. About the same price and delivery was reasonable. Big companies like Höffner just see you as one of thousands of sales a day, and it shows. Avoid them like Covid is my advice. Find a smaller company that needs and appreciates your business. More importantly one that deserves it, as Höffner does not!

Waiting for more than 5 months for an…
Waiting for more than 5 months for an order !!!! On the 23rd september I placed an order from the website which said it was to be delivered on week 47 of 2020 ( mid- December). Since then I received 3 emails from the company always pushing delivery by a further 2-3 weeks. Final email I received said that delivery was planned for week 7 of 2021 (mid February). I have emailed the company asking when I will have my delivery but no reply. I am also still without my item. I feel I have waited more than enough and feel highly unsatisfied with the service offered .

I ordered a breakfast tray a week ago. after 4 days waiting i suddenly received an email saying the shipment is delayed and they can't give an estimated delivery date.
Since they have shown their customer service hotline everywhere on homepage, i called them today after a week waiting and trying to figure out when my product could be delivered as i need the tray urgently before this Sunday! Guess what?
1) their hotline only handle cases of ordering, but if you need an explanation of your delayed order, sorry please email them and i read here the response to email is extremely slow right now (good for you Höffner! you only want more orders but once customers placed one, you just deprioritize their legit request and don't care how long they are waiting?)
2) when i asked if i could speak with someone in English on the phone they just hang up on me! This is just ridiculous.
This is definitely the worst customers service call i've had in Germany. This is my first and last order at Höffner! Such bad experience!
