Almost waiting for a month to get reaction on my email requests. Also when calling the customer service they mention they will internally pick it up, but no follow up at all. Probably the poor guy on the phone of the customer service can not help it, but definitely the worst customer communication I have seen for an energy company so far

Worst company existing for energy ! AVOID AVOID AVOID

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Gulf Gas & Power. Initially, the sales team, particularly Tim Veenstra, seemed trustworthy and gave a convincing pitch. He presented himself as a reliable account manager and painted a grim picture of the energy market due to global events, emphasizing the need to lock in a 5-year contract for stability and savings. He assured me the price he quoted was inclusive of taxes and that I would save a significant amount of money.

However, this turned out to be completely false. The price was not inclusive of energy taxes, as I discovered after receiving a shockingly large bill. When I contacted Gulf Gas & Power for clarification, the representative quickly pointed out a clause in the contract stating that the price excludes energy tax. This made it evident that the sales team had knowingly misled me. To make matters worse, I was informed that the sales team is an external company, distancing Gulf Gas & Power from their deceptive tactics.

I am now locked into an unfavorable 5-year contract across my three businesses, and my trust in humanity, let alone this company, has taken a hit. The way Gulf Gas & Power obtains customers through misleading promises and external agents is unethical and deeply inappropriate. I strongly advise others to be cautious and thoroughly scrutinize any agreements before signing. This experience has been a costly and demoralizing lesson.

SCAM! HARASSMENT!!
I got a call from someone who claimed to be from Gulf, he offered me a 'better' deal, but when I said I do not have time to do it over the phone he got pushy, he then emailed me a contact and wanted me to sign the contract while he is on the line. I said I will not sign anything until i have read the terms and conditions! He then replied by askingbif I read the apple T&C's...
I then told him I wil read when Inhave time and sign it if I am happy! He then got really rude and pushy! I told him goodbye and hung up. He phoned me back, and I declined the call, he then called me back 7 more times before I could block the number! Then he phoned from a nother number as well! This is absolutely harassment!
I'll be happy to remove this review if this guy is delt with! Here is the number he called me from +31858882451 /+31613107036.

Best company! finally had a great offer. It took us forever to find a great deal. Its the second time though, we should have no left last time to budget energie. That was really bad!

I try to anderstand how I get to this company for 6 months.
Some msn come to my restaurant and offer me a good deal.
And when I get the first invoice it's was 2 times more.
I call them and now I am 6 months wait for a answer from them.
Today I go to a lower and I pay a lot of money that he solve that.

SCAM!!!!
got a call from one of their scammers. They offered low prices. They emailed me a contract. When i said i would not sign it right away he got angry ordering me to sign. I hung up and never signed.
Month later they called again. Said they would contact me if prices changed. I said i had no such appointment and dont want anything from them. He hung up immediately. Bunch of scammers all fake.

HANG UP THE PHONE! Tell them no, it’s all a scam! If it sounds too good to be true, it is because it is not true!

Gulf and Gas is one of the many predatory energy companies that have relentlessly harassed and scammed my 87-year-old father-in-law.

They even had the audacity to make an offer using his neighbor’s business name, trying to trick him into a deal.

Back in February, we made it crystal clear that he wanted no further contact.

Yet here we are, a few months later, and they’re back at it—bombarding him with phone calls and emails, pushing him to sign some so-called “personal offer.”

This is harassment, pure and simple. It needs to stop—NOW!!!

Scam calling multiple Times trying to trick you into changing contracts to them.

I got contacted by a salesman who made me think it was from my current provider. When I discovered he wasn't, he started to tell me that I actually wouldn't change providers, but at the same time I would have a contract with them. Super weird and flaky sales technique.

They try to lock you in with lies, and not to speak about the small print in their contracts.

The cherry on the cake, it's that even if you tell them you are not interested, they don't "let" you hang up, and they keep calling and bothering you!.

RUN AWAY from this bunch of SCAMMERS!!!

Scam, stay away!

Seem to offer a good deal on contract, which almost fooled me, even though I work in the energy sector. What the representative fails to mention that the quted price is only for the commodity, not including all the delivery fees related to energy. The end price is in fact much higher then other energy companies.

I told the representative politely no, thanks. A few days later they called my wife, and when I repeted the same no, thanks response and asked for them to delete our details from their database, as per GDPR, suddenly the agent claimed to have a very bad line and not be able to hear me.

Fake promises made by agent Vasco (0628856452), he said if I do not like the offer made by Gulf Power, I can cancel. Now he is not picking up the call and company is not responding my mail. He got me into contract of 5 years. Not a company but a scam.

It seems in the culture lying and deceiving stands central and the word they live by is scam.

Most unfriendly, not helpfull and extremely arrogant when you try to stop the contract.

Got contacted by their sales agent, and somehow I mistakenly assumed it was my current gas and electricity provider. A lot of things seemed off during that call, but somehow I managed to sign contract with them (did a stupid thing, not proud of it).

In a contract it indeed seemed that price is lower than my current pay. But contract was for 5 year + prices are set. They also claim that they will handle entire move, yeat - contract states different (that it's my responsibility to cancel existing contract). While I have no right to alter contract, company still leaves room to adjust price. Automatic renewal after contract ends and etc etc.

There are so much red flags, that I wanted to reach out - to that contact that supposed to be always available to answer my questions or issues. That contact didn't answer for two days, never called back. Official customer support took ages to answer.

I have a right to cancel my contract within 14 days after signing (granted by government), so I did. SCAM is written all over this company.

They called me a time ago offering electricity and gas to my company that is located in my home. I heard that this was not allowed once but they said it was completely ok. Signed the contract, and suddenly I see debits from my account without ending the contract with the other supplier. The previous supplier ended my contract in May, and I paid Gulf March and April already. I tried contact several times and no feedback. It looks like it was a scam.

I m waiting already for two months for my refund, cause I paid too much monthly. I sent several emails, everytime they say there will be paid soon. By telephone they don't even answer. You can't get anyone to speak

Never get involved with them, the worst company that can exsist!!!!!

Gulf Gas & Power has been transparent, stabile, and reliable in providing us with our gas and electricity and clear invoices and yearly reports. We have been completely satisfied with their service!
