Fantastic service provider with the…
Fantastic service provider with the right heart for this industry always striving to lift the quality of care for all.
One of the worst companies I've ever worked for
I worked as a support worker at one of the SILs, and my experience was deeply disappointing. Management team is toxic and focused solely on bringing in money, rather than prioritising participants and their experience. Senior leadership is inexperienced and fosters a blame-heavy, gossip-driven culture which makes me stressed to even attend my shift.
There is also an extremely high staff turnover in their office team, I've had to report to a several different rosterers and client services staff every few months as they are hired and then will shortly disappear. I agree with the other review about disorganised rostering, and think this is due to the staff turnover and offshore team.
Also noticed that much of the team has been offshored to a team overseas, meaning clients and support workers are expected to communicate with people who aren’t local and don’t understand the intricacies of NDIS (understandably), even in emergencies - and as a support worker I struggle to understand what they are saying and they can't understand the terms I'm referring to as a support worker in a crisis, so I cannot begin to imagine how difficult someone with a disability would find it.
I can't understand how clients can be promised to receive “high-quality care” from a company that prioritises shortcuts and profits over proper support, while claiming to be a 'premium provider.'

One of the worst disability support companies to work for
Poor management and leadership, creating a toxic workplace culture. High turnover of staff.
Support workers are often inexperienced and lack the training needed for complex care situations.
Rostering is extremely disorganised, leading to unsafe staffing levels—especially where 2:1 care is clearly needed/ participants left with no care last minute.
Support provided to participants is not person-centred, and advocating for better outcomes is usually ignored by team leaders.
The organisation appears focused more on profit and gossip than genuine care and support for both participants and support workers.

In reply to DannyMetSally's comment on my review:
"During your interview process, information was.."
Yes, but it wasn't mentioned that client's history indicated client could be incarcerated for weeks on end at any moment. That part was left out. It was also left out that this would mean absolutely no shifts for any support workers at all in this time, as one would assume the house would need a clean or a plant watered or something in the 6 weeks it's sitting there empty which obviously would mean at least one shift with one worker in that time.
"..the First Aid Certificate and Police Check are mandatory requirements for all registered service providers.."
Correct, however it isn't mandatory that all registered service providers refuse to pay for any of it and make it fully the expense of the employee. This is the first job I've ever had in any industry where I've been asked to pay for my own police check for example.
"..attempts were made to contact you via phone, email, and a WhatsApp group chat prior to the shift.."
Yeah that's a lie, as I don't even have WhatsApp, and even if I did I haven't been given any DMS contact details for it. And what staff do you claim apparently called me? As my Team Leader has never called me once in the entire time I've been with DMS, check her phone log, and payroll & HR still hadn't replied to me in weeks when I wrote this review. Only 1 person has ever called me from DMS (excluding all the calls I kept getting begging me to do shifts when I hadn't done any training shifts or even left my previous role yet) and she's in recruitment and I'm still waiting on a reply from when I messaged her about my first cancelled shift.
"Further, we have not found any record of you reaching out to us regarding your experience, and we have attempted to contact you following your review, but unfortunately have been unsuccessful."
Well, yeah of course. The only contacts I had were for HR, my TL and payroll, none of which were replying to me. In order to complain I'd need the contact information for that, the copy of my induction with all these contacts was never sent to me like recruitment said it would be, so what would you have me do? Just google the DMS number and start complaining to whoever answers?
And why would I bother? If not a single Team Lead, worker in Payroll or worker in Recruitment could get back to me asking a very important question about my shift after weeks, why would I expect a reply if I complain about it?
Perhaps if I had gotten any replies before coming on TrustPilot to let everyone know of the organisation's incompetence, and not only be now getting calls because I left a negative review online, then maybe I'd bother answering.
You also haven't acknowledged why you ask for your employees to be punctual for shifts and in replying, but not your payroll, your HR, or your Team Leaders, why they can't be bothered to even give a 1 word reply?
You also haven't acknowledged why the nature of casual leave was lied about. And I'm going to guess based on your comment you'll just lie and deny it again, so I recommend you watch the recording of the induction I was in for the evidence of what was said.
You also haven't acknowledged why you didn't pay me for the mandatory to attend induction (which is illegal by the way)
You also haven't acknowledged why no one could be bothered answering me in the weeks I waited for a reply before I wrote this review?
