I requested a viewing with this estate agent who simply ignored my request. I called them which clearly caught the unprofessional man at the end of the phone off guard as he dropped the phone and proceeded to mumble. I asked to view the property again to which he went through some screening questions which I had already provided via email. He asked me if I had a child and then went on to ask the age of my child. This is indirect discrimination under the Equality Act 2010. He proceeded to ask me further questions which I told him he already had in writing and that I wouldn't repeat. I then requested a viewing for a set date which he stated was "not how it worked" and that he would need to "check when the tenants were free". Usually I would accept this, however this was an empty property that had been on the market vacant for some time. I would never go back to this estate agent based on this short phone call, they have openly discriminated and lied.

Appalled at the service we’ve received from CJ Hole so far. We are currently living in an uninhabitable property (paying £2250/month). The extensive black mould is exacerbating my autoimmune condition, yet the letting agents and property manager have been unresponsive to all of my communications regarding this. Despite being advertised as furnished, 2/3 of the applicants don’t work and are not getting fixed. Kevin Brent, the landlord, is a crook and hasn’t even offered us so much as a rent reduction. Avoid at all costs.

My experience so far with CJ Hole has been exceptional. Every single person I've had the pleasure to deal with has exceeded all my expectations. George and Corey were just absolutely brilliant in organising and supporting with our viewings. So lovely to chat to and just made the whole experience so enjoyable and stress free. Eva helped us through the application process and has been such a bucket of joy to chat to. I've had such bad experiences with agencies in the past who clearly don't care about us at all and so I was so relieved that everyone at CJ Hole has been so human, so kind and so welcoming. Would rent and buy through CJ Hole forever more. Also, as a cherry on top, I am so impressed with how thoughtful and thorough the landlord has been. Here's to many years in our happy home! This is the worst estate agent in the whole of the United Kingdom that I ever had the misfortune to deal with. Crooks of the highest order, they only cater to the landlords’s interests and tenants hold no value in their eyes.They made me pay £500 as cleaning costs for a property which was left spick and span, and actually wanted me to pay £675 when hardly any cleaning was required apart from the garden which needed mowing.Even the person from the Deposit Protection Service noted that the property was left in the same condition as it was when we first moved in, but the stupid person that I am, I went and paid whatever they asked for. I am so angry at my naivety. The people working in their Lettings section have no qualms and very little conscience!

Despite repeated requests to view a property I was not allowed! I am a cash buyer and was told that they were doing 10 viewings already but they might get back to me if they get a cancellation. Gobsmacked. I never realised that only a certain number of people are allowed to view a property. I wonder if the vendor is aware that c j hole are refusing viewings? Their telephone manner is beyond unprofessional and if you are thinking of selling through this agent then good luck and I hope you don’t get more than 10 potential buyers as apparently that’s not allowed.

I rented my house out through Bradley Stoke C J Hole branch. They are a fantastic team and look after the tenants and landlord. They are fair, fast and sort out any issue quickly and effectively. A brilliant team that is fair and very knowledgeable. I have been with them for about 10 years and never had a problem. I would recommend the Bradly Stoke team to both landlords and tenants

This is the worst company I ever dealt with through a tenancy contract. Extremely unprofessional, disrespectful and clueless. Stay away from them if you're a tenant.

We rent a three bed house with them and we found the house infested with cockroaches.
This company took indifference and incompetence to a different level.
Shame!

I could not recommend the sales team at Bradley Stoke any more highly. The lightning speed of responses; laser-like focus on detail and a clear commitment to transparency and clarity made the mortgage process a joy rather than a chore. I have already recommended the sales team to friends and will continue to do so. I can’t think of a single way the service could be improved.

Terrible communication during the end of our lease, which cost us around £450. Also tried to claim absolutely ridiculous expenses out of our deposit after several years in the same property and no issues

I’m sad to say this company let us down on numerous occasions , every time u try to get through they say negotiator will call back and there is no follow up or chase up , we are based up north and could only view properties on Saturday , they didn’t accommodate us at all and Dealt quite rudely Tbh. It’s a shame we were a really ambitious buyer but they never paid us any attention.

I rented my home in Bristol nearly a year ago as I was moving in with my partner. George spent time explaining the service during an initial visit and didn't pressure me as I took my time deciding what to do over a few weeks (e.g. which agent, which service, etc). The photos and write up for marketing are so important as people browse online, and I was really impressed with the quality of these done by George. In less than a week of marketing CJ Hole had found great tenants who continue to rent the property - rent is paid on time and the tenants keep the house immaculately. I organised my own inventory and gas safety certificate so can't comment on these services. If I ever needed to find new tenants in the future I wouldn't hesitate to use CJ Hole in Bradley Stoke again.

Recently Sold with CJ Hole Bradley Stoke and would advise to avoid like the plague.
The only way to Sum up my experience would be to say that CJ Hole seemed to work for the buyers and not for me as the seller (and person paying the bill)
Poor communication, poorly vetted prospective buyers, poor valuation process which I eventually overruled, however after I reduced the price they did actually find me a buyer, hence poor review instead of bad....

Totally different experience with the Agents handling my onward purchase - West Coast Properties Patchway were highly professional, kept all parties updated and actually drove the sale through to completion..... I know who I will be using if and when I need an estate agent again
