I bought from Aab many times - mainly for special occasions like Eid. I have been always happy with the quality and design of their products. I don’t even mind paying a bit extra, as I always get lots of lovely compliments. However, I wasn’t happy how they dealt with a my refund. Even though they put in their terms and condition that it takes 14 days for them to issue a refund…it was day 14 after they received my return parcel and no refund yet… so I had to use all avenues to reach to them. I emailed them, called and left a voicemail and even WhatsApp them. Eventually they issued me with a refund on day 14 and that’s only because I have reminded them. I am shopping online quite a bit and I have never came across a company that takes that long to refund a customer. They need to improve and change the refund policy.

First of all, I had bought clothes from Aab for a good while. Many of their clothes are beautiful, and the different sizing options are wonderful. I recommended the site to almost every woman I knew. But in April, I received a faulty item, which is bound to happen. I tried to create a return on their website but, because the item was faulty, was advised to contact Aab directly because I could be entitled to a free return. I sent them a message through their website. No response. I sent another message a month later. No response. I tried their WhatsApp number. No response. In July, I threatened to speak to Trading Standards about the issue. Still, no response. So I contacted TS and was advised to try the final form of contact: email. I emailed Aab in August telling them I had contacted Trading Standards and, lo and behold, they replied straight away! They cited the message I had sent in July, and said they had received no message prior (a blatant lie). I told them that they had plenty of time to reply to my July message but only bothered to do so after I had contacted TS. I told them I wanted a refund immediately. They again lapsed into silence. It is now the 1st of September and I am still working to receive my money back. No doubt I will get back every penny.
I understand that Aab is a unique company. I do not know anybody else that provides such a variety of dresses and abayas, but God forbid one encounters a problem shopping with them. I can only advise my sisters to look into getting their clothes tailored.
Looking at the other reviews, my misfortune is a common occurrence. One can only be shocked that a Muslim company is this dishonest. It can only be described as theft, and what does the sharia say about stealing? Remind yourself. A lying, thieving company. Do not expect Muslim honesty and integrity from them, let alone basic human ethics.
Clothes are poor quality, definitely not worth the price, they also have false information on their website, they said an item is 100% viscose, it was actually 100% polyester… it was their mistake but I still had to pay for returns- no response from customer service on this 🙃 will never order from here again

Received refund after 2 months
I have been a customer of Aab since 2009 and shopped for many years. I have always been impressed with the quality of abayas and the modest yet flattering cuts. I do miss the natural cloths though, and still own their old brushed and twill cotton linen clothing, most abayas are viscose now and the kimonos are also polyester, I hope to see the old natural fabrics make a comeback. I like their cotton activewear too…comfortable and breathable. Any customer service niggles in my experience they have been quick to sort. Their deliveries have been on time and I recently ordered next day delivery which was smooth. The paperless returns straightforward. Thank you again Aab.
No matter how badly you like the item, DO NOT BUY from here. The prices are expensive for what they sell and the price can't even be justified through their customer service. Every order I have made with them has been a disaster and I've still foolishly gone back. One order they sent to a completely wrong address and I had to wait weeks to get a response and a recent order they sent the completely wrong colour. It's like they have 5 year olds working for them. No one picks up the phone and the what's app messages are dealt with after a long time and they take absolutely no accountability for their mistakes. They still expect you to pay for the initial delivery even when its their fault the order was wrong. Its just a shame people read reviews after they have already purchased rather than before; I would hate for anyone else to get mugged off like I did.
Some nice products but beware when returning and expecting a refund. They don’t refund your money.

Read the reviews before you purchase! This company sent a product that was faulty. I returned and requested a refund and have not received my money back. No responses from customer service on several occasions.
I ordered 2 dresses from their website close to Eid and in less than a 4 minutes realized that the material is polyester, called them , emailed them but they dispatched it saying we can’t cancel the order.
Now what I received was cheap fabric not worth the money and shipping is costing me more than what I paid. For me waste of money …$200

I have been a loyal customer for many years but no longer want to order from them - I recently purchased 2 abayas - one in my size which shrunk in length, including the sleeves when washed (used the care instructions provided) I loved the look of the abaya so ordered it again in a much longer length thinking I would wash it and it would be fine but again it shrunk to such an extent the sleeves are too short as is the length - the quality is also appalling. Extremely disappointed- customer service is appalling too, I sent several emails regarding the above and have been completely ignored. It has been 2 months since I sent them and still no reply. The thing that upsets me the most is I thought this was an Islamic company but the way they trade doesn’t reflect that at all.
I would give it a big 0 star I sent my item back it’s gone way over the 14 days

Worst experience ever . Originally purchased the item from John Lewis so would have expected the customer service from Aab direct to be on point . Made a return and never got a refund . Called up and was told to leave a message and someone will call back within 48hours this didn’t happen. Didn’t get a reply to me email either . Eventually got a refund like 4 weeks later . They didn’t even respond to my email. Certainly won’t be shopping there again
I'm afraid my experience has also been terrible. I found the sizing and quality of my item not to my expectations. I sent it back on the 6th of May and only got a refund on the 22nd of June!!! This, in addition to the high cost of return compared to other companies means I will not order from this company again.
Poor quality cloth , started having bobbles after first use . Paid £70 for a simple abaya was expecting a better quality
Please don't bother ordering at this company. The customer service is appalling. Paid £278 for 2 abayas which was not delivered. Did not take responsibility on delivery and said they could not do anything about it. So I had to track my parcel as what has happened to my parcel to see they have requested my parcel to be resend it back. Now I got to wait for 14 working days for a refund. I thought it was only me to see it is common for Aab to do this as I have seen on other reviews. Be aware so you don't get disappointed as I have.

Clearly something dodgy being practice with this company, probably the laundered money hasn’t been ‘cleaned’ hence the delayed refund.
If possible pay with Credit Card or PayPal so you can dispute this and don’t have to be out of pocket for too long..
If I could give them minus stars I would. They have scammed me of my refund. I returned 2 dresses in a one package (i normally buy M/56, when first order came the size was small, ordered large, compared it to
other dresses i have purchased L/56 was exactly the same as my old M/56, dresses were exactly the same style) - emailed them of what I was doing (their policy says they will respond with 24hrs) no contact. Then 15 days after returning items I have to request via PayPal for a refund and the only refund me one dress. This is meant to be a muslim company but that is a front for their fraudulent and despicable customer services. Nothing islamic about this company, no islamic etiquette on buying and selling. Disgusting customer service, do not buy from them.
