I used the Harper try before you buy for my Toast items , it is a fantastic way to try building your capsule collection. As Toast sizes can be quite erratic on certain pieces was good to get to try them . A great service

Very straightforward. The clothes arrived, I tried them on, returned some using the free return service, and kept the ones I liked. It was particularly useful as the shop I was buying from is a long way from where I live.

Recently used their Harper try before you buy service on sale items. Very happy with experience. Do find their sizing confusing though. I ordered L with reference to their size guide and in reality I need a M. Something is off somewhere. Missing the customer reviews which help to decide on sizing

I do love TOAST items but their price point is often top heavy. I like the quality and items are good quality but prices are sometimes excessive which stops me purchasing more items. The style is classic,individual. I love the variety of choice .Definitely need to be mindful of excessively expensive items. Especially if similar quality items available elsewhere for better value.

I am a new customer to Toast and placed an order for three clothing items. I was so pleased with the quality and workmanship and I really appreciate the ethics of this company. One of my items was a size too small and the return was super easy and the return shipping more than fair. I have the next size up in route and I expect to have the right fit! Shipping also was very fast. Thank you! I expect to be a regular customer! ❤️❤️❤️

A few days ago, I got the "High Break cotton linen blazer" in the "Salt" color. While it is a high-quality piece, it looks much better in the photos; the color is quite ordinary in person—just a standard khaki—whereas the lighting in the pictures makes it look far more interesting. I ordered a size M, but it fits me like a tent: the sleeves hang below my knuckles, and the cut is incredibly wide—very "Frankenstein." I made the mistake of opening the sealed pockets, so I can no longer return it. I tried to work out a solution with the Toast team, but sadly, customer service offered no options for a return or exchange. Essentially, I’ve lost the money spent on a jacket I’ll never wear—and for a Latino poet living in the suburbs, that really hurts.

This is a fantastic service for high value online items you would like to try .

The payment system, ‘Harper’ was very easy to use. You do not pay for the item but you are given 5 days after the delivery of your purchase to return the item or the payment will happen automatically. An easy way to purchase clothes I thought.

90% of my wardrobe is from Toast. I am never disappointed with the quality and service, whether this is online or in store. Having the Harper option has made a huge difference to my online shopping. The try before you buy option is a game changer.

I would like to give more stars as there just isn’t anything negative I could say about the brand. Fabulous, beautifully made and individual clothing, amazing home wares. TOAST are my go to brand whom I have been using for years and have always excelled in their products, customer service and a general feeling being thanked for being a customer. They listen to reviews and respond. I could not recommend the brand more highly.

The Toast representative was absolutely lovely to speak with and she gave me al of the information I requested.

The product, which I bought online, was advertised as being 100% cotton. However, according to the tag on the garment it is both cotton and polyester. I paid far more than I would usually pay for clothing, because I am trying to avoid plastic as much as possible.

TOAST has been one of my favourite places to shop for many years, and is always the first online shop I visit. The clothes feel genuinely distinctive — beautifully designed, thoughtful pieces made with ethics, craftsmanship and longevity in mind.

I especially love Harper, the try-before-you-buy service, which makes shopping online so much easier. Delivery is always impressively quick too. Sizing can occasionally be a little erratic, but the customer reviews alongside each garment are incredibly useful in working out what will fit.

Customer service has always been lovely too — warm, helpful and personal. After many years and many purchases, I still find pieces at TOAST that feel special and unlike anything elsewhere.

Ordered two pairs of trousers and went through my bank and verified it all
Nothing happened
Reordered through Try before you buy system
The trousers came Sadly, neither were suitable
Returned them and got certificate of posting
Received no acknowledgement they had arrived
This morning received two more pairs of the same trousers!
So YET AGAIN have had to return them
So disappointed with Toast I’ve always loved the quality of their clothing but the ordering sustem is awful though and caused so much stress !

The most helpful and lovely customer service I've dealt with in a long time. I was after a shirt my son was desperate for that had been in the sale and the customer service team were so helpful and quick about answering my query and finding the shirt in the right size. Definitely 5*
