HAVE BEEN WAITING 7 MONTHS FOR A PART I CONFIRMED HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED WITH THE MANUFACTURER FOR 5 MONTHS NOW. I WANT A REFUND TODAY SUMMIT!

I had some drag race inner tubes that got destroyed by shipping company but Bret at summit customer service was absolutely the best. Resolved the issue quickly getting my parts expedited shipping.

this is my review pre recieval of my order. now im probably the most painful decision maker they have dealt with yet the replys and switching my order around multiple times was never a problem the knowledge from the few people i spoke with was premium in comparison to what im dealing with here in australia. now one guy over there in particular. his name is merit!!! this is the guy yopu want on your team. shuffled cancelled moved order all over the place to make this happen for me. couldnt be happier. their website covers all of the summit shops its not specific. so youll get overall stock. it is misleading a little but now i know. i can message the company ask for what it is i need and they can organise it in the backround. yes there mayube extra postal fees but hey. welcome to engines and vehicles.people complain about fees and charges yet will do nothing themselves for free???? i give summit a 10 out of 10 for my order up till this point. we will see how it goes but i am pumped that i managed to save nearly $800 aud on my order.

Never ever had an issue with this website/webshop.

I am from Europe and have ordered many times (more than 20 orders), various parts from fittings, hoses, to big engine front conversion kits, suspension kits, exhausts etc.

All parts are always packed very safe, never had a broken item, every time parts match their description and you get them pretty fast. All those who are angry for not getting their parts fast usually are not capable to see that it is out of stock or will be shipped late which is clearly noted under each item.

will buy again for sure.

Their choice of carriers to deliver orders has seriously gone downhill. When UPS or USPS carriers are used, I ALWAYS get my order in a timely manner. Since their increase in using FedEx, my orders are always delayed and usually improperly delivered (i.e. left by the road in the rain, left in the middle of my driveway to where I can't even pull in off of the street unless I move the parcel first, etc... ) My last order has been "out for delivery" three days in a row now, and not delivered. Now I have to wait through the weekend for Monday, and I have very little faith that it will be delivered even then. I'm about to start ordering my parts through any parts company that does not used FedEx.

Ordered EBC brakes. Summit confirmed shipping in 30 days (Dec. 10). Dec. 10 arrives.....Summit racing pushes shipping back another 30 days. I contacted summit and they told me EBC was out of stock. I contact EBC and all items were in stock. I contacted Perfect Brakes.....shipped next day. Summit does not want to work!!!

Placed a good size order 2k dollars in August and still no delivery, all I get is emails that the parts are not available until a certain date which keeps moving ,disgrace will never use again

Very pleased with Summit Racing! Last week, I needed to buy a car battery charger maintenance item (NOCO genius10). Based on another pricing site's information, I'd just missed Amazon's Black Friday sale price on this item, but Summit still offered that great price and I bought it. Due to no fault of Summit, the shipper actually delivered it to a neighbor's home - initially I thought the product was lost, then I found the box outside the neighbor's home and though it was quite a hassle, all was good. For the hassle, Summit gave me a $25 gift card. Using that card, I found today that HD had a ratcheting screwdriver I need and would have delivered it for free. Summit offered the same price, but shipping is expensive - but they were willing to match HD with their price beat guarantee. Even more than that, I got to speak with a live person, a nice gentleman Summit call representative, to place the order and get the price match. I honestly had never heard of Summit Racing until last week's pricing research (I'd heard of Summit Point raceway in WV but don't think they're associated), but I have been overwhelmingly impressed by them and would not hesitate to recommend them.

SCAM! 6 MONTHS WAITING, NO PART, NO REFUND, NO SERVICE

Living in New Zealand it is always a concern purchasing items from over seas as its a long way away and returning items can be a long drawn out hassle.
Summit racing got my Alternator to me quick smart and of coarse having it delivered to our family business in New Zealand helps.
I read reviews were Summit customers lost their items when sent to a private address.
Online the item was listed as fitting my 1960 Buick Electra 225.
I knew being a right hand drive would pose problems with the battery and Generator light terminal wires being the wrong way around.
But that was the least of my problems.
I required the Alternator dequised as a Generator which Summit racing supply.
But it needed to fit.
The measurements appeared to be correct online.
But it was to long and too wide to fit in the orginal mounting brackets for the orginal Generator cavity and it did not work as it rubbed on the bracket.
Nothing lined up also the Electra 225 have a twin a double pully on the Generator/ Alternator shaft as it has two belts.
If I lived in the US I would of returned it.
Fortunately a local engineer was able to make modifications to make it fit as per the photo in the engine bay.
The Alternator is charging well and I am totally stoked.
I actually purchased an after market Generator FVP 9005 from Rock Autos to replace my orginal Generator that had lasted over 60 years.
That FVP Generator lasted only 7 months.
I'm very confident the Powermaster 82051 will last me many more years.
I purchased my B60 in 1980 when I was 18 years old and I have no intention of selling it so I will be surprised if the Alternator does not see me out.

If I had of only known they also do the shorter Generator case part PWM 82111 it would of gone straight in I am sure?

Customer Service will not work with you. They put out a promotion to get their Summit Speed Card but the promotion is only for about a week. And by the time you get the card there is no promotion. Credit Card Co says to call them to use card but Summit says they don't do that. I would suggest shopping elsewhere that will work with you and give you discounts. This is not my first time buying car parts I restore cars.

After using summit racing for 3 decades, it only took one bad customer service rep to drive me away.
I ordered comp lifters for my olds BB with time to get them for my weekend project starting on a Friday night.
They showed up Thursday as expected for time.
Unfortunately the lifter box was not secured in the shipping box and all my lifters were rolling around like marbles banging into each other. My wife had received the item from the delivery and thought the same, like large ball bearings…
I contacted customer service and asked if they could send me a new set overnight so I could complete my project, adding that I wanted them to charge my card for the next set but put it as a core charge until the current set was received after I shipped them back. Thus double charging me until they had the original open box set back.
NOPE…NO way!!!
I did regular shipping on the first set so they would only ship me the new ones after they received the old ones back.
Did not get the project done because of this and lost one of the last weeks to drive the car for the year.
I ordered from Jegs to get them faster and had them just credit my account at Summit as this was the worst service I have had from a company I have purchased from for 30 years.
I asked the rep to talk to a supervisor and have one contact me but the rep went quiet on the texts after that….
I did get my refund but lost a fantastic fall cruise.

I bought a chrome rocker cover for my engine.

I get it and it does not even come close to fitting! I go back and look at the listing and yes it says it fits my engine so it is not my screw-up. {I do do that sometimes} So I read the reviews. Reviews going back 9 years say it does NOT fit the engine listed.

So I called support and Summit said, that is between you and the maker. We don't say what it will and will not fit. Wow! But *your* reviews have known for 9 years it was the wrong part so at a minimum -- STOP SELLING IT!

This company is awful would not recommend to anyone . Jim in customer service is horrible worst experience I’ve ever had with a company.

I ordered FAST92 LSX gaskets from the Summit catalog. LSXR FAST102 gaskets showed up. The listing read FAST LSX gaskets. LSX is 92mm, LSXR is 102mm. I called customer service and the woman I spoke with said it was Wilsons fault(Maker of FAST products) for providing incorrect product title, and that I had to pay return shipping because had I clicked elsewhere on that page I would see their mistake so it was my fault. Not only that but she told me to order the correct ones and pay shipping again.
I ordered them from Michigan Speed, no issues!
It was a $500+ order, plus I just purchased a Trick Flow CNC heads/cam (TF owned by Summit) which wasn't cheap so I was pretty furious for being treated like a chump after putting thousands in Summits pockets. I did call back customer service and the guy I spoke with apologized for his coworkers lack of competence and said he would credit the shipping costs.

Summit is the absolute very best place to get the parts you need when restoring and repairing your automobile not only do they have stock items but also have loads of hi performance and up graded parts to make your car better than new !
Best of all at Summit when you call to talk to a employee you will have the pleasure of talking to some of the most informed and kind and polite people on the planet, its always truly a pleasure every time I give Summit a call !
On top of that they always have the best price and if you see it for less they match the price ! Now that is service ! And that is why I truly, Highly recommend Summit and their crew ! I have been a loyal customer for many years and I am very thank full for the many times they have helped me with restoring my seven vehicles Chevy trucks, 3 Blazers 2 long beds and 1 short bed and my MGB convertible.

These guy take your money...and you never get your product...keep putting you off for another month..do not trust.

Ordered Red Calipers, rotors. pads for all 4 wheels for a C5 Corvette, Last January they sent everything but the front Calipers, and said they will ship in about a month, every time it get near the ship date they push it out a month or two, it is now June and a day before they were supposed to ship they said expect ed ship Sept. 8th, that would be 9 months late, they are the worst, I am going to send back all the other parts, they Suck, I will never buy anything from them again, if you are smart you won't either.

The website is broken. I cannot access my account, cannot get a password reset, cannot even get a reply to a message. I called to get help and no one can help but if I want to go to the trouble to call and punch buttons on my phone keypad for awhile I will eventually get someone to take an order who probably won't know a ring gear from a brake pad. If I call to complain about the website I am told "the problem with customers not being able to access their account has been going on for two years or more and customer service can't help! So what can I do? Well, I can move on. If I want to use PayPal I will shop price and Summit does not offer the best price, nor have they ever so obviously that was not why I bought from them.
I'm quits. If they don't care enough about their customers to fire the IT people and replace them with someone who knows what they are doing then let them stew in their own sauce. By the time they wake up a lot of us will be gone and won't ever be back.
