useless ticketing system

Why can't they have a ballot system like with the Japan RWC instead of insisting millions of people being on line at the same time watching a blue circle only to be timed out - not clear which button you even click once through - x 4 timed out

They're all about the money, not the rugby

I bought tickets for one of the Women's Rugby World Cup semi-finals a week in advance, and was somewhat disappointed to find that the only seats available were near the back. Four days later, I checked back to find there were suddenly tons of seats available near the front of the stands. So I wrote to rugbyworldcup.com to ask if we could swap our seats -- after all, it's surely much better for the players and the general atmosphere if the seats closest to them are full?! But no, I was rudely told to read the terms and conditions, and that I would have to buy the new tickets and attempt to sell the old ones online. Clearly, all rugbyworldcup.com care about is the cash and what's easiest for them -- they couldn't care less about the actual rugby.

RWC 2023 Resale Scam

My attempts to recover funds from the RWC 2023 resale platform turned into a saga of disappointment. Over seven months, I encountered not just silence but misleading assurances that my refund had been processed. Yet, the money never arrived. The turning point in this distressing journey was being told the responsible party had taken an extended vacation. Since that revelation over three months ago, all forms of communication have ceased; I've been completely ghosted.

The sudden disappearance of their website further cements my concerns about their integrity and operational ethics. It's clear that the mishandling of my case isn't an isolated incident but part of a broader pattern of neglect. This experience serves as a stark warning about the risks of engaging with platforms that lack robust customer support and accountability.

I share this review in the hope of saving others from similar disappointment and to urge the organization behind the Rugby World Cup platform to reevaluate their customer engagement strategies. The neglect I faced is unacceptable, and future patrons deserve better.

Below is the last email they sent me before disappearing and closing their website:

Sir,

We are truly sorry and we insist on the fact that this is not a scam.

We are doing our best to resolve this case but the person in charge of those payment is off and will be back in several weeks.

But we gather all those information to make the payment once again.

We are once again very sorry and we thank you for your patience.

They bombard you with deals

They bombard you with deals. You log on and buy merchandise. Your hear nothing for days. Only when you email them, they say, sorry we don't have them in stock despite them being on their website. Save time and money and stay clear of them. Awful service

Bonkers Inconsistent Sizing and Shipping Costs

Bonkers Sizes - Why is a 3XL Hoody fine with space to spare, whereas a 3XL 20 Unions Rugby Shirt and 3XL T-Shirt skin tight on me. You are selling Rugby stuff - mainly to blokes not waif-sized gymnasts. There is only a 4XL larger and I'm far from Rugby Build.

Overpriced Shipping £4.99 v's Same from Evri as Joe Public not on a corporate rate £3.68.

Despite the Overpriced shipping - you need to pay for your own returns - despite the bonkers sizing above making a return nigh on a certainty.

Longest shipping time ever

Jerseys are shipped directly from China and they will take 2 weeks or more to arrive - despite being charged >10 Eur for shipping...
Since you will pay the same rates for the gear at the stadiums, you may as well buy it there. At least, you'll have it!
