TOTAL DISASTER

TOTAL DISASTER !
Items (Pooh Sweaters / Jumpers and Paddington Sweater / Jumper) were ordered weeks & weeks in advance of a birthday, with RUSH Shipping PAID for extra security and protection. Items did NOT arrive. Agents kept saying "our team is working on it"... I do not believe there is a "team". Then, the agents "vanished", with absolutely NO RESPONSE. Only after a dispute was filed with American Express did I receive a refund. DO NOT ORDER unless you have a reliable credit card company who will protect your purchase. NO IDEA what company now owns Rowing Blazers; whether it is an overseas conglomerate, or some pretty-faced, trust fund baby brat, but they are straight-up horrid at business. If you cannot ship sweaters (among the hundreds of other 1-star review items), you have no business attempting to run a company. JUST PLAIN BAD !

I paid £180 for a jumper which was lovely. I followed all instructions for care and during its first wash the jumper dye bled and has ruined the whole jumper. Awaiting a reply from them to resolve, but based on other reviews here I am not hopeful. For £180 I'd expect far better

I ordered a jumper from Rowing Blazers…

I ordered a jumper from Rowing Blazers (£180) that unfortunately didn’t fit and felt cheap dispute the price tag. I contacted customer service to arrange a return and followed the instructions provided, sending the item back to their US warehouse at my own expense.

I provided proof of postage and shared it with their support team.

This has left me in a situation where I no longer have the jumper and have not received a refund. I attempted to resolve the matter directly with their support team over multiple emails but was told they could not proceed without tracking information and added no solution for this.

For a £180 purchase, this outcome is extremely disappointing.

Did a chargeback to recover my money, don’t use them.

Scammers

Scammers. They ignored my messages for three weeks, and after I cancelled the order — and followed up multiple times — they still refused to issue a refund. They also misled Affirm by claiming they would refund after the case was closed, and then refused again.
This company does not respect customers and does not follow basic consumer protection standards. Avoid purchasing from them.

Over priced and poor quality, bad customer service, wrong sizing

The sizing is off - I ordered a M jumper and it’s huge on me.

Secondly - the threading in the jumper I bought came apart on the back through no fault of my own, only on the second wear of the jumper (I hadn’t even washed it yet). I contacted customer services and they informed me there was nothing they could do as I’d already worn it. At these prices, it’s appalling that there should be a defect and they have no appropriate way to fix this for the customer.

Over priced and poor quality, bad customer service, wrong sizing

I have been a Rowing Blazers customer…

I have been a Rowing Blazers customer for several years and have placed numerous orders (~10 rugby jerseys) Whilst being relatively expensive I found the original products, most notably the rugby jerseys and polos, to be of high quality. Unfortunately I suspect that quality has deteriorated, perhaps since they sold a stake to a PE company. Of greater concern is the simply awful customer experience. I placed an order during the Black Friday sale and they shipped entirely incorrect products, not even close to what I ordered. I contacted them to arrange a return, they asked me to video myself opening the package to prove their error. I sent a photo of the package contents along with my original order receipt. There has been no response despite me chasing via email, Instagram DM and Instagram comment on a post. No response at all. I now have in my possession a woman's cardigan and socks, despite having ordered a men's rugby jersey and sweater. Avoid this company.

Utterly Disappointed - Poor Service and No Refund from Rowing Blazers

Extremely dissatisfied with my recent experience with Rowing Blazers. I ordered a cashmere hoodie for my husband on December 8th, expecting it to arrive in time for Christmas, especially since the vendor advertised quick shipping times using DHL. Here we are on December 28th and not only has the hoodie not arrived, but the company is no longer responding to my emails even though they accepted the problem and promised refund.

Tracking information shows that the hoodie is still sitting in Philadelphia and hasn’t even been picked up by DHL. This level of service is unacceptable, especially considering the high price I paid for a product that was supposed to be premium quality.

I expected much more from a brand with such a reputation. I urge Rowing Blazers to take responsibility for this situation and issue a refund immediately. It’s disheartening to invest in a gift for a loved one only to be left in the dark with no resolution in sight. Please do better, Rowing Blazers. Your customers deserve it.

Sizing is completely incorrect

Sizing is completely incorrect. I ordered a medium rugby jersey and sweater, both of which were worn by the model who is allegedly 6’2. Both are like belly tops.
Brought them back to the shop and they would not offer me a refund on the rugby jersey as it was “final sale”. Had no sympathy for the fact that the sizing is completely wrong. Such a shame as I like supporting small businesses but I 100% will never be buying from them again

This is an unethical business

This is an unethical business, they ignore refund requests. I purchsed a sweater for $187.54 and it was too large. I sent it back and received an email that I would receive a refund of $156.88- a $30 difference. I never received even the wrong amount of $156.88. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Bought a Apres- ski headband from Rowing Blazers last year. the one in the picture is not the one they are selling. you will receive a totally different headband, I called customer service and they apologized and said they will send the right one. They did send another one, but it was the same as the first. I told them this a QC issue. they said they would refund my money, never did.

I do not recommend this brand

I do not recommend this brand. They do not respect boundaries. They only responded after I requested a refund through PayPal and even then rather then respond to me directly they shipped the product (which I no longer wanted and told them several times to cancel and refund.) These are not good people.

Could be better

1. The website offered me 20% off of I signed up. I signed up, they sent me an email claiming to include my code for 10%, but not including a code.

2. At checkout, shipping was 25. On top of that, Rowing Blazers had default opted-in that I pay another 36 for insurance in case the item is damaged or lost in shipping. That is not a legitimate additional service charge. That is is what regular shipping should include. Paying 17% of the purchase price of one sweater just to get the standard shipping service offered by most stores is offensive.

3. Many items are sold out, or only available in a few niche sizes.

4. It is a bit rich to describe sweaters as “cashmere,” in the title when they are only 10%. A sweater that is 90% wool is not a cashmere sweater.

5. More items appear to be sold out than not. This was true months ago as well. Others are on preorder with a delivery window of May-September. Even in July, which suggests that the site is not fully up to date.

7. Far too many cheaper Warm & Wonderful products are there, not enough actual of the well-made merino sweaters (also sold out for months).

Where is their customer service?!

I ordered a watch on April 27th and was told in the confirmation email that it would ship between June 23rd and July 11th. I sent an email on July 8th asking if my watch was still expected to ship on July 11th. They confirmed that it was still on track to ship by that date.

Despite that confirmation, I still don't have my watch (it's July 22nd)! I've sent multiple emails, sent messages via Instagram, and tried calling their customer service number (which is no longer in service). I can see that they've read my Instagram messages, but they haven't responded. They also haven't responded to my emails.

My frustration has now turned to concern. Rowing Blazers' customer service used to be amazing - really incredible! The significant decline is obvious to me and (based on the other reviews I've read) other long-term customers. At this stage, I'm inclined to report the charge to my credit card company to see if they can help.

RB pulled a bait and switch on me

I ordered a sweater on June 1 and two weeks later it still had not shipped. I contacted support FOUR times before they finally replied, telling me due to "customs delays" they did not have the sweaters but expected to receive and ship them mid-June. Towards the end of June I asked for another update and was told they expect to receive them around July 7. At same time, they launch their July 4 sale and the same sweater is now 35% off. I asked for a partial refund of the difference, given the fact the sweater has not shipped and the company does not even have it in stock. Rowing Blazers claims the order is "finalized" (I don't see how - they haven't shipped the order yet) and refuses to issue a partial refund, even after continued correspondence back and forth.

I would understand if I had received the sweater in a timely manner, but when the company has not even shipped the sweater after a full month this is clearly a "bait and switch" and completely unethical behaviour. If they don't step up soon, this will be the first and last product I purchase from them.

UPDATE July 31: my order still has not shipped and customer service has provided no update for one month now.

Rowing Blazers sent me a UPS label to…

Rowing Blazers sent me a UPS label to return a rugby shirt for s return refund. UPS lost the package. Rowing Blazers refused to help me file a claim with UPS since they have the account with them and have the right to do so as the receiver. I feel ripped off by this company. It takes days for their costumer service to reply at all. Make sure you never do
business with them. I am about to lose 158.00 due to my missing UPS package. An unethical business company that who care less if one of their return packages is missing. Never ever do business with them again. The worst experience.

I read the poor reviews on this company…

I read the poor reviews on this company and its rugby shirts, and I am at awe upon reading the reviews. This is the best quality and most beautiful rugby shirts you can buy. Not even Ralph Lauren comes close. It is a great quality shirt that represents great taste and class. Not sure about other’s taste but I know I have great taste and quality expectations. The best. No doubt. I am not afiliated with this company in any way. 5 stars for sure.

Quality has gone way down

Quality has gone way down. When I first ordered from RB 4 years ago, I got a heavy weight rugby shirt, made in Portugal, cam with a few sticker and a handwritten not in RB branded packaging. A great product and great experience ordering online. Since then the founder has sold out to venture capital company. The sweatshirts I bought recently was made in china, no sticker, no hand written note, plain white packaging. The variety of products offered has gone way down too. Special drops used to be once once a quater, now not even once a year

Extremely unimpressed

Extremely unimpressed especially for the price. It has been over one month since I ordered it and apparently only yesterday it shipped. It was meant to be a holiday gift. Thanks a lot
