I sent my results out immediately from Chicago and it took 2 days before it made it to the testing lab in Texas. During this time bacteria could be growing leading to inaccurate results. Then I finally see my results are ready but when I clicked on the link there was nothing available. I called and they told me something happened at the lab where they had to rerun my results which then made me question the validity and accuracy. I spent $400 for this and it should've been a smoother process. I take the results to 3 different doctors who then also question how valid the results even are. The microgen results showed a high bacteria count but 2 urine tests and even culture tests provided by doctors showed negative. So much for 400 down the drain.

I found the Costco customer service rep to be very knowledgeable patient and willing to answer any questions.

I have suffered with chronic prostatitis for over two years. I kept telling my urologist that something is wrong. They only do testing the old-fashioned way with a cultural dish which came back negative. I decided to call MicroGenDX who does DNA testing and they found a bacterial load of 65% with one bacteria and 31% with another type of bacteria. I would highly recommend MicroGenDX to friends and family who may have health challenges but can’t seem to find answer's. I want to thank MicroGenDX for their excellent service and providing solutions for complicated cases like myself.

You test accurately and quickly for 1000's of bacteria, fungi etc in the urine. You are fairly inexpensive for such extensive testing. Patients are also given what the antibiotics are antidotes for their problem are and if there is any antibiotic resistance found. The test kit arrives within a couple days, is very easy to take, and mail back. One can also quickly get a tech. in person on the line right away if there are questions. Results are posted quickly on line and easy to read.

the kit takes a while to get home using the standard shipping method; the kit is also very pricey, especially given that for those facing issues with UTIs for example, we need to order more than once. It would be good if they could offer some sort of discount for recurring customers. im considering not ordering anymore given the price.

After continually getting urine culture’s that read mixed flora repeat if clinical concern after textbook collection technique this test was truly a life savor for my husband. Helped infectious disease treat specifically. Highly recommend.

I know I have an active staph infection and this came up with nothing on that. So I’m not confident in the results.

Great Service Caring Staff and Knowledgeable

The test is wonderful technology but MicroGenDX has missed its turn around commitment ("24hrs from sample receipt") all 3 times I have used their tests. They even have a milestone timeline on your order page that says they will deliver results on a Saturday, which they do not. They would do themselves and their customers a service to be honest with turnaround time. I was waiting anxiously for results so I could get my physician to write an antibiotic prescription but had to wait over a weekend to find out.

I don't understand the point of the test. This company charges a fortunate for a "specialized test" which they give you your results for, but there is not consultation, explanation, or anything else shared with you to help you understand the results. I am not a doctor nor am I a bacteria expert, therefore the results of this test are useless.

Turned to MicroGenDx after 3 course of antibiotics and still had UTI symptoms. Got the test fast, sent it back same day. 24 hours later had results. UTI was caused by bacteria that was resistant to the 3 antibiotics I was given. My doctor prescribed the recommend antibiotics and I finally got relief after 2 months of symptoms. So extremely grateful!

Very responsive and easy to use

I called 3 times and spoke to 3 different people before and during the processing of my order. Every call was professional and the person was knowledgeable. My expectations were far exceeded with the speed of the whole process from the time I placed the order until the time I had the results in my hand to pass to my Dr.

Super fast, easy and specific answers to the issue. The customer service is attentive and very friendly to resolve issues.

It was pretty good service making it easy for me to test. Even the first shopping went missing, they responded quickly to re ship it to me assap.

Not able to register kit and delayed testing

I can't seem to log in to my account to see if you have received the test I took and sent. Fedex states it is delivered. When I go to login, it doesn't reconize me
