New boiler installed. Efficient, friendly, quick and thorough service. Super easy and super happy! And the price was better than all others - including the big national installers. Plus - preferred a local and independent company. Finance option too.

New boiler installed yesterday. No complaints, so far. Tradesman was quick and very efficient. Explained everything I needed to know in detail. He didn't even want a cup of tea. Poor chap.

I had my boiler installed last year by Chris, i recently rang him fir a yearly service. He mentioned he will be there between 8.& 8.30 he was a couple mins. early. He did a good job.

When the CH boiler gave up after 15 yrs and with no knowledge of gas installations, & being a single female - daunting task!

We found Chris of Lodge Plumbing to be very helpful and extremely efficient. We needed a boiler replacement and he visited us promptly, sent us quotes - with a recommendation - within a matter of hours and arranged for one of his engineers to do the work within a couple of days. Jason completed the work satisfactorily within a day and, within a few hours, we received all the paperwork including a gas safe certificate and a long term warranty. Excellent all round!

When we collected quotes to replace our old boiler, Chris really provided us with the most pleasant experience. He arrived and really explored our full system, finding and showing us an existing leakage and not just trying to sell us a boiler. He patiently and friendly listened to all our questions and provided us with all the requested information.
The installation was efficient and professional. Jason and Chris did the work, explained us how to use the new system and left the place tidy.
We are very pleased with this way of communication, responsibility and work and highly recommend their services to others.

Amazing experience- from quotation, arranging the booking to the finish of job. Chris and his team were very efficient, worked hard and the work was tidy and clean. The new combi boiler is now installed and we have received all certificates and the guarantee. I would highly recommend.

We urgently needed a boiler replaced at a Btl property before the Easter Holiday.
Ww called Claire at lphs first thing on Wednesday 5th Aoril and she responded very quickly. An engineer surveyed the kitchen that lunchtime and I received a quote by 2pm that same day. The good news was that the installation could take place on Thursday 6th April before the Bank Holiday.
We were so impressed with the speed of response and the way the team communicated with us. The quote was very reasonable and we will definitely use this company again.

Chris replaced a domestic gas boiler for me. He provided an excellent standard of service. I was particularly impressed with his reliability and professionalism in everything he did.

New boiler, resited. Prompt response, discussed options, offered to do the job in a day using a team of 4 men the following week. All pleasant and helpful and happy to work out solutions. Chris checked the job the next day, and sorted a glitch. Was the middle of 3 quotes and I chose Lodge because I felt confident it mattered to Chris that the job would be well done and it was.

I was extremely pleased with the work carried out by Lodge Plumbing & Heating Services Ltd the job involved the removal of a Baxi boiler, Gas fire and copper cylinder and the installation of a Worcester boiler a survey of the job was carried out efficiently by Chris the plumbers arrived on time there was minimum dust I would certainly recommend Lodge Plumbing & Heating Services to my friends.

I had 4 quotes for a replacement boiler and radiators. I took the following factors into account:
1. Good communication - This is a really high priority and includes both the admin side of the visit and installation as well as the technical side of the requirements. Communication includes listening as well as explaining.
2. Respect - No one likes to be condescended to or taken for an idiot.
3. Professionalism - Not being a heating expert I was not in a position to evaluate an installers competence. However, by the checks each engineer made on their initial visit and the questions they asked (and answered) I had a good idea of how thorough they were.
4. Recommendation. Word of mouth is great, but I also relied on Trustpilot. Hence I'm writing this review. I have not been asked to do so!
Of the 4 quotes I had I felt comfortable with 3 of them. However one was with British Gas and I wasn't happy with the fact they had bought out Worcester Bosch's guarantee and had a more expensive and shorter warrantee.
Of the remaining 2 Chris Lodge easily came out best for 2 reasons. Firstly, he was the only one who made a suggestion about moving one of my radiators rather than dismantling it. All the others just accepted my statement that it wasn't working and was in the wrong place anyway. Well done Chris!
So, those were the reasons I chose Lodge Plumbing and Heating. Finally, he actually had the most competitive price by far. I'm not sure how as the new radiators were exactly the same as those offered by the others.
The work went smoothly. All completed with one day and tidied up afterwards.
I would definitely recommend Lodge Plumbing and Heating.

Chris Lodge is dedicated to excellence. Thoroughly professional and personable in his approach to doing business. You will have to seek far and wide to get a better level of service and at such a great price. Great communication and time keeping. On the day Chris and his team got straight in to the installation and kept up the momentum all day, finishing off with a good clean up and a full explanation of the operation. Chris and his team were hardworking, friendly well mannered engineers who clearly knew their trade and had a great deal of experience doing it. In summary excellent!
