I have the lifetime 10Tb. I'm happy with this. Only the disconnection and dismount of the drive on my computer from time to time is not so nice. The Up and download speed is faster than Onedrive.

Don't bother!

If you have an acct already, don't expect to get extra space on it, when you run low. It's not happening! They'll force you to open a new acct, the second you run out and they update their software, which means you have to redownload everything, so you can re-upload everything to the new software update. What a pain. I switched to another online software place because of this. What a mess!!

So far so good

So far so good. Upload and download speeds are good. Sharing files via URL works splendidly. I have not need customer support yet. Great so far.

The service works well

The service works well. I’ve had no issues. I’ve tried a few others and just like the Icedrive interface better and the mapping of a drive. I would recommend it.

Some settings unclear

I've had difficulties understanding some settings like the way files synchronize and applying different settings to different folders.
I found also unclear how to trigger syncronisation of a new file when I need it.
Finally I needed a solution with which the password manager Keepass is compatible, which is not the case for Icedrive, so I decided to change

Works well and well priced

Works well. Uploads data to cloud quickly. Customer service good, reasonably quick response to any questions. Their revolutionary desktop software allows you to access and manage your cloud storage space as if it were a physical hard disk or USB stick directly in your operating system.

This gives you all of the features and feel of your native operating system - Edit, upload, delete, open - can all be achieved with ease with speed.
I find this works well with windows and if i was in the market for cloud storage, would look no further than ICEDRIVE.

Fast and Always Works excellently

I have used several other storage companies and this by far is the best and my favorite. Upload speed is very fast [compared to the other apps], has always worked perfectly every time which is my main issue with other companies. Very easy to use and versatile, at least for my needs of sending large [multiple GB size] files to clients. I have only needed support once in the 1.5 years that I have used Ice. They have made my business life very, very much easier.

Things I don't like about icedrive

In general I like the service.
3 things I am missing:
1 - possibility to open the file and edit it f.i text file. currenlty I have to download it to change it and then reupload it. I miss this extremely bad
2. When I take new images they don't synchronize if I don;t open the mobile app. I want to synchonize on the fly like google photos
3. I cannot perform a bulk delete - this is soemthing that should be fixed asap!!!

Incredible

Incredible
I chose Ice drive for it's plans and the fact it offered much more storage at a lower price than it's competition but I stayed because I liked their product.
Still has some nuances and bugs here and there and it is slow in some cases like very loaded video folders. But for what you pay it is just a minor inconvenience.
I believe in this product and that these will be dealt with

You get what you pay for

Icedrive is cheap, and it more or less does what it's supposed to. I can't complain too much given the price, but the overall quality of the software leaves much to be desired. It's not even close to the level of intuitiveness and convenience you get from a service like Dropbox, but it does back up my files. The Windows app is buggy and fiddly the way it makes you mount the icedrive storage as a virtual drive. The Android app seems to work fine, haven't had too much trouble with it fortunately. The iPad app is also kind of clunky though, but it does work. I probably won't be resubscribing when my membership runs out unless they make some significant upgrades, but it's definitely a usable product that does most of what it's supposed to.

Perfect for long-term storage

It's a perfect service for my use case. Mainly, I was looking for a long-term storage with encryption, to upload my backups and sync some folders. This works well since I've found Icedrive about two years ago.
Some features are not perfect yet, but it's nice to see improvements over time.
The only really bad experience was with sync configuration being completely reset after updating Windows App to the new major version.

Lots of options and work very well

Got this because of the lifetime offer, but it has a lot of options like encryption, online media preview, thumbnail and collaboration.
It works almost flawlessly and ultra fast on desktop and mobile. The only flaw I found is not working very well with unicode characters filenames.

CPU high

Sometimes, with Windows application, mounting a drive, cause WMI Provider Host to use more then 50% CPU also when there's nothing to synchronize

The online drive works extremely slowly…

The online drive works extremely slowly and is unable to be used properly. Not to mention many files simply don't open. I emailed support but they have refused to help or refund me. I definitely do NOT recommend icedrive.

Amazing lifetime cloud storage service.

lifetime cloud storage service that is doing very well over time. I noticed that they are working on the apps for Windows and macOS with really constant and assiduous updates. This makes you really great and a very serious service. The only flaw is the app for iPhone and iPad that is a year old and no longer updated, and it wouldn't be a big problem if it weren't for the fact that it has a major bug when you try to search for something in the search field of the app, the app closes instantly triggering the bug. Luckily this isn't a huge problem since on the iPhone I can search for files directly from the original "File" app. EDIT: the iOS app is now updated, the search bug is fixed in the new app… but now it no longer sees the cloud in the system app "Files" as it used to with the old app, will you solve this too? thanks, you are the best!
