I received an incorrect order with…

I received an incorrect order with different meals than the ones I ordered. I reached out to customer support and told me I would get a refund. This refund was not processed. I reached out again and said for sure it would be applied to the next order. It was not. I reached out a third time and was told the refund will be issued after the current promotion, which applies only 10 dollara off over a span of several weeks. Also, every time I contact customer support it takes like 40-60 minutes to actually get an answer.

In the last two boxes

4 days laye and damaged

I received my order 4 days after the scheduled delivery date, only to find one of the ice packs had broken and leaked all over several of my meals

Absolutely horrendous customer service

Absolutely horrendous customer service. I clicked a return customer offer 5 years after my last delivery. I thought I would have a little time to pick my meals and change my information but they locked in the order on the same day without my confirmation and shipped items that I did not pick to my old address. When I asked about a redelivery to the correct address or a refund they told me there were no refunds or exchanges. They told me that I could “gift” the box to a friend or neighbor. How can I gift something to a friend that was delivered in a different state? They then ghosted me 3 times via chat, leaving me for over 30 minutes between messages, but if I didn’t response within 2 minutes, they disconnected the chat. I will not be using this service again, and I will never recommend this service to friends or family.

One pack of ribeye steak was opened

One pack of ribeye steak was opened, dried out and had to throw it away. One of the cornbreads was open and flattened and crumbled. Had to throw it away. Other than that, the rest has been good so far.

Delicious meals, quality products, easy instructions

Delicious meals delivered on time with quality ingredients and clear, easy to understand instructions. Most every meal we have received we would rate with 5 stars. It is rare for us to say "Oh we didn't care for this one."

Inconsistent delivery

Unfortunately, our latest box was undelivered and we were told we wouldnt receive one this week. We ordered the box to arrive the day we returned from a trip so we would have meals for the week. This is the second time we've had issues not getting a box or receiving a box so late that the food has spoiled.

How about giving the option to use the air fryer instead of always frying the meat?

Prepared my first Hello Fresh meal last…

Prepared my first Hello Fresh meal last night - Soy-glazed salmon over kale/slaw salad. It was DELICIOUS! HF is very generous with the portions - I'll have another dinner plus a nice lunch salad as well.
The instructions are very easy to follow. A very healthy dinner.

Awful Customer Service, Okay Food

The food is pretty good and the recipe variety is decent, but the customer service is abysmal which is why I can't recommend this company. On just my second meal shipment, my order delayed by a whole day and I wasn't informed of that until near the end of my delivery window despite the package still being a whole state away. The form email cited "Winter Weather" in Texas in May, and no restitution was offered. When I chatted with a customer service rep, they gave me a $10 credit, which doesn't even cover shipping, let alone the inconvenience of it all. When I kept asking questions, the rep timed out of the chat which is equivalent to hanging up the phone on me mid-sentence. Then, I sent an email and was entirely ignored. The email didn't bounce. It wasn't a no-reply. It was just ignored. I would have been an easy customer to keep if anyone in customer service just treated my like a human.

Ingredients and packaging

Some of the ingredients are not very fresh and i did not use it. I still cooked the remaining ingredients and it was still good. I have also had issues with the right ingredients and meal cards being in the box on occasion
