Ex Why Zed makes self-publishing a truly pleasurable experience! Brilliant communication from start to finish. Mike had endless patience for the many questions we asked. The guides provided were easy to follow and super helpful (the video guides are a must watch too). Our order of hardback illustrated children's books was delivered expertly packaged and on time. As for the finished product itself - stunning - a real joy to finally hold, beautifully made and perfectly printed! We couldn't have asked for more. Well, we did - we instantly placed an order for paperback children's colouring books too, which we are equally as happy with. Look forward to working with Ex Why Zed again in the future.

I came across EWZ on Youtube when I was looking for videos on zine layouts and publications. The video showed different zines for their clients and explained the binding, types of paper, and the rationale behind each project. Even though they were located in the UK and I was based in Canada, I decided to go with them because their website included every bit of information I needed to know to create my first zine - everything from the different types of paper (I received paper samples for free), types of binding, client examples, step-by-step instructions on how to set up different types of zines based on the binding, # of pages etc. From my first email to Mike to the end of my project, his response rate was really quick and answered every question I had. Most of all, he was very upfront with everything. All my zines were shipped and arrived within one day and I'm glad to say nothing was damaged as they were all packaged really nicely and safe. I was even more surprised to find extra copies and now I'm able to gift them to more friends and family. It's surreal to hold your project physically instead of seeing it through a screen. I hope to work with Mike and his team again on my next project! Thanks Mike!

I can't recommend this company enough. We were undecided whether to go with printed.com or Ex Why Zed, and I'm so glad we made this choice - it was completely worth it. As a novice zine-designer I had a few questions. Mike went out of his way to advise me on exporting my file, the best CMYK values for what I wanted to print, and double-page spreads. When there was a mystery problem with my file he spent the best part of an afternoon looking at it for me until it was fixed. He even split the delivery across multiple addresses. This will definitely be our first choice for printing from now on - you can't put a price on having a real, experienced person who responds quickly and is willing to help. Thank you!

From the outset, ExWhyZed provided fantastic support and customer service. As a first time self-publishing author, printing was a bit of a mystery. Their long and detailed explanatory video was a hugely helpful start, which enabled me to understand the process. Mike then followed up with templates, suggestions and email help to make sure my book was printed to the highest standards. They also worked hard to fulfil my order before Christmas, which was extremely important! I can't rate their service highly enough. Exwhyzed is the best digital printer I have found for photography books in colour. The print quality is excellent, the colours exceptional and their 170gsm silk house paper superb. What makes Exwhyzed even more special is the personal service. Mike who runs the company is always willing to help with solid advice and information. I ordered a proof copy first to make sure that both of us had got it right. I was so pleased that I ordered 120 books which were printed, bound and delivered to my door with a week. I couldn’t recommend them more.
