Matthew Emeny is a professional artist from Ipswich, UK; creating high quality hand painted art featuring aircraft found throughout history and today. The Emeny Art online store hosts a large selection of Aviation art prints. Each limited edition print is artist signed, numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Matthew also accepts commissioned work and paints a variety of sizes to suit different budgets. Matthews interest in painting began during his teenage years as a hobby, and later on progressed to a more advanced level as he explored different mediums and styles, whilst painting scenes from around the Suffolk countryside. In 2013 Matthew acquired a collection of black and white postcards featuring WWII aircraft. This inspired him to paint his first military aircraft, bringing colour to one of the old postcard scenes. The painting revealed a more detailed and realistic approach with realism becoming his preferred painting style. Although Matthew paints a variety of subjects; he continues to specialise in military aviation. With a passion for detail, he creates compositions which portray subjects accurately and in a way that is highly detailed and visually engaging. His desire is to create art that people can admire, enjoy and pass down to future generations.

Incredible experience from start to finish!!
Incredible experience from start to finish. I approached Matt about painting a combat scene and he meticulously took all of the details and started to paint. Throughout the process he constantly provided daily updates. The resulting painting is just incredible. It was an amazing process and a painting I will never forget!!
