What is going on with DPD? Especially the Dundee mob! I order from Amazon and all over the place but every time the retailer uses DPD i dread what comes next! I have had fake delivery attempts where they claim they tried my door but my camera never seems to pick them up (pick up cats walking past the driveway but not DPD) then there is the constant delivery delays where item keep getting rescheduled or even go missing, Amazon have had to refund two items so far that just simply vanished.

I have a return from b and q a mattress it was all sorted for return Monday nobody came and message on tracking from dpd said when we got there driver was advised nothing to collect! Contacted b and q and arranged another collection again for today and yet again they have failed to collect and the same message on the tracking advised nothing to collect! Shocking service dpd your drivers lying. I’m tempted to make an order so you have to come here and take the mattress back on the same day. Fuming

They never truly deliver the package to the door.
This is how they do:
1) Arrive at the door simply tape the notification.
2)Arrive at the door on the next day, tape the notification. Note, one may already receive the emails saying we were not at home.
3) For the people *working from home*, how would we not be at home??

DPD has to be the worst courier in the United Kingdom. There is no attention to detail., their couriers are rude and unhelpful, and the customer complaints department is non-existent. After my last experience, I intend taking this Company to the ombudsman. I am terminally ill and rely on courier services for the delivery of Medication. Even though they have been told this on numerous occasions, it makes no difference at all. They should not be operating in the UK. You get a better Service than this in the outback of Africa.

DPD is the WORST COURIER SERVICE ever.
Delivered a Fridge damaged & tried to blame it on me.
Always claim they tried to deliver and 5 minutes later the parcel is a pick-up point.
Claim the address is not correct - WHEN IT IS A company address to which they delivery daily.
This company deserves to go BANKRUPT.

...Because zero stars is not an option. DPD is the worst service I have ever been forced to deal with. They have never once attempted a delivery to my residence despite the fact this is what they are paid for. I have literally watched them drive by my residence while I receive an email claiming I was not at home. They have skipped my deliveries even when the package is heavy furniture I cannot retrieve on my own and demanded I come pick it up from a downtown pharmacy which is almost impossible to get a car to.

This is the kind of negligence that could only be explained by fraud. DPD should be fined until they start providing the service they sell or they go out of business.

Absolutely appalling. The seller Panda London booked a collection and twice they claimed the driver was advised nothing to collect. The driver simply lies. Even saw the van drive past our house the first time and he ended up completely wrong address despite definitely having the correct one.Today took a photo of our house but didn't bother getting out of the van to ring the bell but claimed they spoke to someone called Alma. All made up. I am furious 😡

If you thought Evri was the most useless courier in the UK...you need to broaden your horizons and try DPD.

At least when Amazon send me a 'Delivered -Handed to homeowner' email they've tossed the parcel over the fence by my front gates (which are wide open and only 50ft from the front door), I can then retrieve the rain soaked parcel.

With DPD you just receive emails saying that they 'attempted delivery but you were not in', even though you were and security cameras prove that nobody tried to deliver anything.

When you phone their customer support AI you might eventually speak to someone offshore, they will provide no useful information and won't be able to explain why it's still at their Hinckley depot near Leicester 5 days after it had been received there.

They simply promise that it'll be delivered the next day...good luck with that.👍

It's worth filtering out companies that send products via DPD if you need it within a week.

Would give a zero if you could.

Tracking says delivered but not delivered to the address on the label. Rung to try and sort it out only to get through to a foreign lady who struggled to understand my problem and kept saying it will be delivered tomorrow. Was like banging my head on a wall.

Ordered within EU. While waiting at home at the time range the app gave me, I received an update that the attempt to deliver failed. No ring bell, no phone call.
All the while its impossible to redirect the package to a pickup point, apparently this option only gets enabled 30 min before delivery. What for - to confuse the driver?

Got an update that the item goes to nearest pickup point.
5 (five) hours later the item is said to go back to the depot.

I didnt pay for the goods yet (Klarna) and I have a suspicion that it was the right call.

Diabolical. Angelica Hilario provided absolutely horrible customer experience. Parcels missing, no follow up and no answering of calls. Disgusting. Avoid at all costs

They claimed to try and deliver a package - demanded a smalle fee to deliver. Asked when it would be convenient to deliver. I gave a time line -waited sall day it never showed up. Still hasn't I am beginning to think this is a scam.
I emailed them and asked why they wouldn't leave the package on the step or mailbox. No reply. I am very displeased.

They have not even tried to deliver my package for over a month. It was said to be delivered to a Box and a code would be emailed once it was delivered.
They scan the package everyday according to Track & Trace but never delivers.
How can they survive as a company if they don't deliver?

Every time i order something that is being sent through DPD it either doesn't arrive or it arrives in the middle of the night. Why can we not get a delivery at a normal hour? Worst courier service I've ever had the pleasure to work with.

Ridiculous this company is still in operation when every single customer complained about same damn thing - fake attempt delivery, zero responsibility to deal with this, machine answering calls that doesn’t solve any issues, pushing back issues to sender, empty promises… Time is money and the amount of people’s time wasted because of their irresponsible lazy drivers and management has probably totalled more than the value of their whole DPD company.

A disgrace. I ordered an item through Amazon, delivery was scheduled dor 23/07/2026 between 13..08 and 14.08. I waoted in. At 13.05 I had a text saying they couldn't deliver as no one was in. The photo of the property they tried to deliver to wasn't mine and had clearly been faked. DPD were impossible to call. It's a chat box system which isn't geared up to shennanigans and the drivers know it. According to Amazon DPD told them they had tried to deliver at 14.10. Lies, nobody turned up. My advice is only buy from Amazon if they are delivering or a 3rd party seller uses Royal Mail. Don'tbuy from companies that use DPD. You might not get your parcel.

Yet again DPD give a time slot of 11.39 to 12.39 we are a business and are open 24 hours a day. When they failed to deliver they lied and said no one available to sign for the parcel. Absolute disgrace if they told the truth it may help. Avoid using DPD.
