Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 156 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the company's claims, often finding them to be based on claims that did not align with the service received or for services not rendered. Customers also frequently reported issues with payments, noting that the company demanded payment even when no useful action was taken or when fines were already paid. Communication was a major source of frustration, with many struggling to get a response to emails or phone calls. The minority of people were satisfied with the staff, describing them as helpful and courteous. Some customers also felt that the service provided was effective, especially in cases involving debt collection or obtaining a CCJ.

Can you imagine studying law just to be…

Can you imagine studying law just to be a parking enforcement cronies?

What terrible losers they must be! Imagine every day going in to work to bully and harass people. Imagine the piss poor regard from those who know these people.

You could pursue human rights violations but you were so poor at your job that this was your zenith. WOW.

Thank you so much

Thank you so much. Sitting on a claim for 6 months wondering if I should or not. Got a cold call. But they explained what they did. Within weeks I’ve got my money and very thankful.

Got a CCJ added onto my credit file…

Got a CCJ added onto my credit file while I have been living in Australia and New Zealand so was completely unaware about this parking ticket. Tracked it down and contact DCB legal but heard nothing so paid it within a month. Sent multiple emails for proof of payment so I can send it into the court and nothing. I wish ☠️ upon this company. Useless 🐷

Kafka Called. Orwell’s on Hold. Welcome to DCB Legal Ltd.

Orwell would blush. Kafka would nod in approval — and start taking notes.
Because when it comes to procedural theatre and institutional evasion, DCB Legal delivers a performance worthy of fiction’s finest.

Imagine a place where inboxes echo, emails chase their own tails, and deadlines gather dust like forgotten policies. Accountability and common sense are distant relics from a forgotten era, lost somewhere in the same archive where clarity was last seen blinking into the void of DCBL’s training programme and departments coexist like estranged cousins at a will reading. Now imagine they’re in charge of your legal rights.

Welcome to DCB Legal Ltd: where Subject Access Requests become choose-your-own-adventure novels and “compliance” is less a process and more of a seasonal suggestion.

One department claims no knowledge. Another claims they’re not the right one. A third replies from an inbox you never wrote to. It’s like legal whack-a-mole, but with more contradictions and fewer results.

Recordings vanish. Explanations contradict. And accountability evaporates faster than their email response times.

GDPR becomes a silent performance — the kind even Charlie Chaplin would’ve taken a pass on, out of sheer respect for coherence and common sense.

At DCB Legal, you don’t just chase answers — you navigate a narrative. One built from curated silences, delayed disclosures, and a deep institutional belief that if they spin fast enough, no one will notice the law.

Five stars for drama.
Zero for data protection.
And a BAFTA nomination — plus a standing ovation — to the advisors performing contradictions so earnestly, you’d think delusion was part of the training.

This company represents Vehicle Control Services. No shame.

This company represents Vehicle Control Services in the collection of ‘alleged’ parking fines. They are totally unscrupulous and pester people until they are on the verge of a breakdown. They use crafty tactics by trying to get you to give in to an out of court settlement by reducing the fee by a third. My son had 20+ fines for not having a permit, despite him having one and proving evidence of such. Each fine went from £100 to £170 to £210 within a matter of weeks because he wouldn’t admit guilt. The matter is now with the district judge, yet they are still hounding him & offering out of court settlements. This company are utter scumbags. Almost as corrupt as Vehicle control services, that have made millions over the last few years with their actions. All the above is factual, so feel free dcb to act on it.

This is the most disgraceful company…

This is the most disgraceful company I’ve ever been in contact with, received a parking ticket over 12 months ago for being in a private car park for less than 20 minutes in total. The amount of threatening phone calls I received in beyond disgusting, demanding I pay £160+ or I’d be taken to court. I was 100% ready to we had a court date and 3 days before they withdrew the claim. cowards honestly

Scum. Pure and simple.

Chasing us on behalf of Euro Car Parks for staying 17 minutes over our ticket time. Trying to extort £295 from us when pro rata 17 minutes equates to about 26 pence. I hope these and other similar companies are taken to task soon and go bust. I will laugh until I cry.

Shamefull law firm

This law firm shamelessly lends credibility to predatory parking companies, exploiting legal technicalities to intimidate honest people. Their actions lack integrity, compassion, or public responsibility. They enable unjust practices with cold efficiency, prioritising profit over fairness. A disgrace to the profession, they tarnish the very idea of justice they claim to represent.

Deeply Frustrating and Unprofessional…

Deeply Frustrating and Unprofessional Experience

I’ve had a very disappointing experience with DCB Legal. After discovering a County Court Judgment on my credit file, I immediately contacted them for clarification. During a 25-minute phone call on March 26th, I was told there were no claims against me whatsoever. My email was confirmed correctly, yet I never received a single communication via email — not before the judgment, and not after.

Even more frustratingly, I was kept on hold for over 10 minutes while the representative double-checked, only to be told again that nothing was on file. I was even told, somewhat patronisingly, that “DCB are not the only legal firm,” as if I had contacted the wrong company — despite referencing the exact name listed on my credit report.

Only days later did I start receiving letters from DCB Legal about a claim I should have been informed of long before. I ended up paying the CCJ amount within 30 days, solely to protect my credit rating, but I still intend to fight this because I was misled and denied the opportunity to resolve this issue fairly and in a timely manner.

This experience has left me with serious concerns about how cases and data are being managed. The lack of communication, misdirection, and dismissive customer service has caused unnecessary stress and financial pressure. This should not happen to anyone.

Got a CCJ against me! Wrong address & person!

They got a CCJ against me when it wasn’t even my ticket or my address! They say they sent a notice of claim….to my neighbour. So wrong person and wrong address. When I called them they said their ‘tracing service’ identified my neighbours address as the most likely success!! They refused to send copies of the claim so I could try deal with whatever happened.Either they are very incompetent or trying to force people to pay for CCJs as an organised crime

Thoroughly nasty people

Thoroughly nasty people. Doggedly pursued a wrongly issued parking "fine" for over a year. Invited them to take me to court. They didn't, but kept pestering with threatening letters and nuisance phone calls. Change in legislation required to put such operators out of business
