The beds themselves are pretty good quality and my dogs love them. However, when beds have an outer cushion, we also need the dimensions of the inner cushion so that we can purchase the correct size. The first bed I bought was too small (Toby) and the second too large (Skipper). This could have been prevented with better information. Returns are expensive and annoying! Providing the measurements of all components will prevent a hassle for both parties and better customer satisfaction.

This is my fourth and last experience with this company.

Pros:
1) The beds themselves are good quality, stylish and long-lasting. Dogs love them.
2) For the most part, the website is easy to use.
3) Cuccioletti offers a variety of payment options.
4) The Cuccioletti website usually has good promotions and very competitive prices.

Cons:
1) The covers/lining for the beds, in particular, the bottom part (similar to paper canvas), are thin and of poor quality. You must wash them in cold water (not 30 degrees as recommended on the website) or they will shrink. You must also put the cover back on the bed gently because the bottom fabric rips very easily.
2) Clearer information is needed to help customers choose the right product. I bought a bed with bumpers, and the only measurements included were the outer measurements. Unfortunately, the bumper cushions were HUGE, they took up too much space, and the inner area was a bit too small for my dog. More information (such as the size of the cushions/inner portion dimensions) will help avoid these frustrating situations.
3) Dispatch of the product is extremely slow. It always takes between 12-14 days to receive orders.
4) If there is a problem with the order, you will either get an automated email that directs you to the website, or a very cold response from a staff worker.
5) Return/exchange shipping offered by the company is very high: 20 euros for a bed plus the price difference for an exchange, 30 euros to return a mattress without exchange. 12 euros to return a mattress cover.
6) No one ever answers the phone when you call.

If you know exactly what you want and you don't mind waiting two weeks for delivery, I do honestly feel their products are good for the discounted prices on their website. (DO NOT pay full price!) Even so, I recommend paying with PayPal because they will reimburse you for the return shipping if you need to return or exchange a product. If you must return something, It's better to not use their courier service as it is more expensive than shipping it yourself with a different courier.

I would much rather support Italian businesses than purchase from franchise retailers. However, there is no incentive to do so any longer with Cuccioletti. Their products are not worth the hassle, especially with such cold correspondence with their customers. Customer service must be improved! The website also states that "returns and exchanges are simple". They should also add "and EXPENSIVE".

All'inizio, abbiamo aspettato quasi un mese per l'arrivo del nostro ordine. Quando abbiamo chiamato il servizio clienti per scoprire perché non avevamo ancora ricevuto il pacco, la responsabile ci informò che era stata molto danneggiata e, quindi, restituita al magazzino.

La signora è stata molto gentile e disponibile al telefono e ha spedito l'ordine subito, senza costi aggiuntivi. Il nostro nuovo ordine è arrivato in meno di una settimana.

Sarebbe stato bello se fossimo stati informati dalla compagnia del motivo del ritardo, piuttosto che dover chiamare - se non avessimo chiamato, probabilmente saremmo ancora in attesa!
Nel complesso, sono molto soddisfatto e volentieri ordinerò di nuovo da Cuccioletti.

At first, we waited almost a month for our order to arrive. When we called customer service to find out why we still hadn't received the package, the lady in charge informed us that it had been very damaged and, therefore, returned to the warehouse.
The lady was very kind and helpful on the phone, and dispatched the order again right away, at no additional cost. Our new order arrived in less than one week.
It would have been nice if we had been informed by the company of the reason for the delay, rather than having to call - if we hadn't called, we would probably still be waiting!
Overall, I am very satisfied, and would happily order from Cuccioletti again.
