I am a new customer its only been 1 week and my experience with cashplus bank is shocking bad customer service ect i will be moving my business bank account to a proper bank i would not recommend this bank stay far away

This is not a serious bank for business banking!

This is not a serious bank! They held my payment because the amount would tip my balance over the limit of what is allowed for my account. It is fair to say I had not realised the bank only allowed me to have a certain amount at the time I opened the account and rectifying this is proving to be a nightmare.

However, I thought I had increased the balance allowed as was told the change would be effected in three working days. When I checked after three days, the deposit had not been credited into my account because "the call had dropped" and the application had not been effected. That call had never dropped, it was completed but they declined to listen back to the call.
This meant my payment was withheld even after the balance in my account would allow for the payment without the limit being exceeded. My money was only credited after I challenged the bank to add up the balance and that payment.

I had to go through the process of increasing my limit again and was told it would take three days. Now I am being asked to give evidence to justify the need to increase the balance that my business would be allowed. Apparently I need to send them the future invoices to prove that I would be receiving more money than what my current balance allows which does not make sense to me as they have already had such an invoice in the last few days, one which they kept without crediting my account. The bank had threatened to return the money to the customer. Today I was unable to give details of future invoices because I don't know what they would be as my nacre of business is not one were you can do this.

Please beware of this bank as I am unsure it works as a business bank even for a small company like ours. I am disappointed about the amount of time I have to spend on the phone.

I’m suspicious that someone hacked my…

I’m suspicious that someone hacked my account and there is no service at all after 8pm… there is no possibility to contact anyone so someone just increased my overdraft and took money out and I can do nothing till tomorrow- thank you Cashplus

Emily and myself had a discussion in regards to fees. we weren't agreeing at first however she was just doing her job. she did a amazing job. she went out her way to help me out. 10/10 service from Emily personall. The bank I'm unsure about.

Great service once again from Cashplus. The advisor Cameron was very knowledgeable and gave me step-by-step advice. Saved me loads of time and made things straightforward and easy. Really happy :-)

A month after closing my account…

A month after closing my account without notice Cashplus still do not know the correct questions to ask to reopen the account. This is why I advise all serious business people to avoid this bank.

DO NOT use cashplus if you have no other means to access you money

This was an OK bank to use for a number of years online until I wanted to update my personal details. They restricted my account without notifying me because they didn't update the new email address I gave them. they also accepted my £300 deposit of my disability benefits and then refused to release my money even after I had provided ALL the security info they wanted. They expected me to wait 5 days for them to look at the emailed info I sent meaning I would be left without money to buy food or pay for electricity.
It's currently -2degrees where I live an they expected me to wait to buy food and heat my home until they could be bothered to release MY money to me.
I have a heart condition and have recently been discharged from the ICU after suffering from a life threatening bout of covid 19.
Customer services is incapable of recognising the unfairness of this situation or dealing with anything above basic telephone queries.
Apparently it takes at least 5 days for them to read an email. They absolutely refused to put me through to a supervisor or manager who could explain what had happened or put it right.
That only happened when I contacted the Financial services authority.
We shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get access to our own money.
They have breached FSA guidelines and initially acted so unfairly that I contemplated going to the press to expose them. I even thought of protesting outside of the London offices of the parent company, Advanced payment solutions as they do not pick up the telephone. This is no way to run a bank or treat customers. USE CASHPLUS AT YOUR OWN RISK & BE PREPARED TO HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET ACCESS TO YOUR OWN MONEY.

Cashplus or cashminus bank

Payee provided the bank account information that he mentioned is of a business account to which I transferred mony, now the payee has refused to provide document to verify his identity, and stopped responding to my call and messages.Not sure what Cashplus bank has done to verify the account and why the Payee is non-cooperative.

Best customer services ever

Jorge was extremely helpful. I had an issue with my card and app login Jorge was so patient -best customer service.
I am a long time with Cashplus and is always a plus when it comes to banking.

Appalling experience.

Appalling experience.

I have several accounts with CashPlus for a few different companies. I recently opened a new account for another company and requested a credit extension due to a bona fide transaction that was taking place about which I provided in depth background and rationale.

This prompted a request that I send proof of payment to each of the accounts which I spent significant time doing and this was swiftly followed by a notice on ALL of these accounts that they would be closed within 60 days.

There was no explanation and no one to speak with who could shed any light on the reasoning behind it.

Furthermore, access to ALL may accounts via the app (the only way to use the account) has been summarily withdrawn and therefore I'm left with no way to get to any of my funds.

Even this is contrary to the information in the closure notice which clearly stated that I would be able to remove funds via cash withdrawal or outbound payment.

I feel as though I've been treated like a criminal for simply asking for an extension to a CREDIT limit.

The whole experience has been an absolute nightmare.

My next communication will be with the ombudsman.

AVOID THIS ABOMINABLE ORGANISATION AT ALL COSTS

Absolute Shambles

It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, this bank is really very bad news.

Given the state of the world at the moment, I have found myself out of the UK for far longer than expected. Apparently this now means it is impossible for me to access my bank account, or even to close it. I'll spare the details but rest assured that this has literally been made impossible for me.

Without access, I cannot access my bank statements to submit accounts to Companies House. Luckily the business is near dormant, but how does one create accounts when one cannot see what has happened in the bank? Anyway I accepted this and said ok if it is impossible to access the account further, please close it.

Closing the account has proven to be impossible. Apparently it is simply not doable. At some stage later they said they can do it, I had to have long conversations and even discuss which charity to allocate remaining funds to.

A week ago I receive a warning email that my account is in debit because I am not paying bank charges. I respond explaining that I thought my account has been closed. Zero communication further and zero help.

This is the kind of institution you really really want to avoid. As the saying goes, "cheap is expensive", they offered a cheaper service and now I am really being burnt for it. Avoid avoid avoid.

PS. Isn't it interesting how they do not respond to any of these reviews?? Clearly not bothered.

Please avoid at all costs . Never bank with them . They restricted my account for no obvious reason. I have no access to my funds . I cannot even speak to anyone in the head office . Please stay away. I phoned many times for two weeks and still no response from them . I cannot carry on with my Bussiness. I can’t even access the money I have in the bank.

Someone called Katie Phoned me and asked for some information about the nature of my business and I was happy to answer all the questions and then she asked for some documents as to To prove how I do my business and then immediately after I couldn’t access my online app for Christmas and they couldn’t use my bank at all they’re Restricted my account to review the documents I sent him and the cons was only a screenshot from Facebook and one invoice very simple it doesn’t take a lot of time to be processed or reviewed I don’t even have too many transactions in my account my belief cash plus mystic peoples accounts so that they can invest in the money in peoples money which is unfair.
Please avoid this bank at all costs
cashplus has left me in his debts has destroyed me and deteriorated me They are not taking my calls .they asked for some documents as to how I do my business and an invoice and it’s been two weeks and documents have not been reviewed yet. my account is restricted still I phoned so many times no one is getting back to me I asked for a callback from the head office that bureaucratic invisible authority which would refuse to speak to me I have asked the customer service to someone from head office to give me a call back and that never has happened . customer service are useless They keep saying we can’t advise you anything about this matter as it has to do with the head office and head office is a bureaucratic invisible authority they don’t have an email address to speak to or email them please avoid this bank at all costs
