Failed to arrive

I am assuming this is for the ride I booked on 29th December.
Couldn't get through on the app so rang and was told 45-60 minutes. After 30 minutes I got a text telling me it had been cancelled.
I rang again and was told the driver had gone on a break and no one else was available.
had to use a seperate firm who although they were dearer arrived in 5 minutes,

You cancelled my trip over 2 hours…

You cancelled my trip over 2 hours after I booked it, and just 15 minutes before it was due. You left us all stranded and we had to walk a very long way home. Why accept a booking if you have no cars or drivers to do the taxi.

XMAS DAY BOOKINGS

Really appreciated 2 bookings made on Xmas day. Both drivers arrived promptly and were friendly and professional. I will have no hesitation in booking Cab My Ride again and recommending to friends and family.

Bad service

I ordered a taxi and cancelled it as I found one through another provider. After being home for half an hour I got a call from an angry taxi driver to ask where I was as he had arrived. I received no notification that a tax has been booked so could not cancel it. The taxi driver was rude and then hung up on me when I said I was already home and didn’t need the taxi. I was then charged a full fare as I had not cancelled a trip I thought I had. After raising a complaint about the fare I was told I would get a refund only for a week later to be told that actually I was not due a refund and I would be sent £5 as a courtesy. All in all bad service and I do not know if f I would use them again when other providers are more reliable and provide better service

Overcharged vs Quote

Obtained a quote prior to booking. CabMyRide provided cheapest quote so booked with them (£112). Checked my emails the morning after the journey and they have charged me £130. I had alternative quotes that were cheaper than this, so would not have booked had they quoted me this! I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions to resolve this but each attempt has been ignored

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO TEH REPLY FROM CABMYRIDE: So that everyone is fully aware, the journey taken (including all drop off points) was exactly as per the quote they provided me with at time of booking. Extremely disappointed that companies feel that can act in this manner. Wont be using them again and would encourage other people to look at alternative providers. Wished i had read the Trustpilot reviews before booking them

In addition our team did email you on the 18th December; a day after your trip. But it looks like the mail did not ever reach your account.


I can see that the journey will all via point the final fare was £130.00. We ensure that our drivers are compensated correctly for the services they provide and therefore unfortunately we will not be able to provide you with a refund.

Can't rate 0 starts otherwise I would.
Booked a taxi 3 days prior for an Xmas do.
They EMAILED me to cancel 10 mins before taxi was due to arrive, no call no text just an email. (Who checks an email on a night out)
I called them and they said it was too busy in soton city center so they couldn't send me a taxi...(whats the point In pre booking)
They confirmed they would definatly be there for my collection at 11.30pm
.....11.31pm comes..I recieve an email stating they would like to cancel my taxi in advance....advance. (1 min AFTER they were due to be there) I called them they lied to me and said a taxi had been waiting 15 mins for me out front and had to leave, (Yet I was out front from 11.20pm untill 1.25am)...they changed their story and said soton town center was too busy and they had to cancel. Worst customer service ever. Argumentative, unwilling to help or honour pre booked taxi

Changed the price

Called for a quote, booked based on that quote, then charged nearly double. £8 increased to £15. Not the drivers fault, but when he called the management they denied any knowledge of quoting me £8.

Do not use shoddy and incompetent

Awful! Booked taxi on tues for sat night. Booked for 11:30pm pick up. Get a call at 11:38am sat morning to Sat my taxi is outside? Call office who admit their error but tell me they cannot rectify their error as no availability and so can’t book me a taxi at 11:30pm and suggest I should gave booked earlier 😡 I did but they cocked it up! absolutely disgustingly rude on the phone DO NOT USE

Dreadfull

We have booked this company on a few occasions over past couple of years.This is a review that has only the driver review ,and other matters are not relevant CLIVE the driver was totally and completely incompetent ,his address to customers at the beginning of the trip Rude and offensive,he had little idea ,that his demeanour was nothing short of Rude,his driving was poor and I considered dangerous, he tail gated all the way up to Hotel at Heathrow,other than when traffic minimal, fiddled with his radio,couldnt attach his Sat Nav Seriously the worst I have ever experienced It probably makes little difference to CABMYRIDE ,but we will never use them again, on top of all that he put a charge against my wife’s Card ForT2 ,something we had never agreed to and never would ,to us the fare is the fare.We travel frequently to H Row in the past drivers have been exemplary.ARE THERE NEW Owners

Appalling company

We were returning from a cruise at Southampton docks, our outward journey experience was disappointing with the driver being late, however return journey was far worse not only was the driver half an hour late, the vehicle sent was not suitable, we had booked a 6 seater to accommodate 8 suitcases however the driver was i formed 6 people 3 hand luggage, leaving us stranded at the dock. This is the second time i have used this company and believe me my experiencejust gets worse, avoid this company, they are badly organised and even their drivers complain about the poor management.
Appalling response from cab my ride, they were fully aware of the persons and luggage as they provided a suitable vehicle to take us to the port,if they are unwilling to recognise their mistakes and not blame the customer i can not see as a company how they can move forward and improve their service.

Thank you for taking the time to review us, looking at your booking and review; booking a 6 seater for 8 luggage is not possible. The amount of luggage you had requires an 8 seater.

We're apoliges that you did not book the correct vehicle to accommodate the luggage. Being a Ford Galaxy - that can at max take 4 luggage.

Please be mindful next time you book as for 6 passengers and 6 luggage you need an 8 seater.

Lies and theft. AVOID

Quoted me a fixed fare of £100 for a trip to a hotel near Heathrow T5. Before the car arrived they had charged my card £130…what followed after I complained was a list of lies and deceit , false claims and unrepentant dishonest support staff. You can Google what other people already say about Arjan and his team.

Awful company

If I could, I would give zero stars! Booked return taxi to the airport and one day before the trip they cancelled. No explanation. When I called to ask what happened, as they took payment and sent a confirmation email, the operator said he needed to talk to management to find out. When I asked to speak to them, he said they were busy... on the school run?! The operator said they would call me back within the hour, but I never heard from anyone again. Unbelievable!! I suppose I need to be grateful they at least cancelled as oppose to a no show which, looking at previous reviews, has happened more than once. I got lured by the cheap price, but it is obviously too good to be true. And it is never worth ruining your trip over a few quid... AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Failed to arrived. Stranded in ashurst

I ordered two cabs for a return trip from Bitterne/west end to ashurst. Both outbound cabs were over half an hour late and both went to the wrong destination.

At midnight I was called to say my 00:15 cab would arrive at 00:30 and the other 7 seater (which would be taking children home was on the way), at 1am I called to check eta’s and was told I only had one cab booked, the 7 seater. The operator would check and call me back. He never called back. The 7 seater arrived well over an hour late and the other cab never arrived and I never received a call back. Stranded in Ashurst at 1am.

Luckily I managed to book an Uber

Disgraceful behaviour and will not be using this company again

Dreadful service

Dreadful service. Paid £330 for return to Gatwick. The outward journey was fine, but the pick up was a nightmare. Driver was 2 hours late. No communication from Cab My Ride. We had to phone them repeatedly to find out what was going on. When the cab did arrive it was a VW Touran which is a 5 seater with 2 child seats in the boot with no luggage space we were 5 adults with 5 suitcases plus hand luggage. We ended up with suitcases on our laps and luggage crammed all around us for a most uncomfortable journey home. No attempts from cab my rise to apologise or resolve the situation. This is a company that just doesn't care once it has your bank details. I won't ever use them again and suggest you don't either. Try Viking Cars, they have a much better reputation.
