Kind and helpful lady on the phone

Really surprised by the reviews for this company! I spoke with a kind lady on the phone Friday who was was very patient with me and answered all my questions.
I see the comments about delivery charges but it does say charges may apply. I've placed my order and paid £10 delivery so I'll be getting my appliance on Friday

Great Customer Service

I recently purchased a new Bosh extractor from Appliance Source for my new kitchen, it was a great price, it was essential I got it in time for my new kitchen to be fitted and Courtney from customer services made sure this happened, I would thoroughly recommend Appliance Source 👍

"Free delivery" costs £45. BEWARE!

I should have read other reviews before placing order. Item described as having "free delivery" but suddenly a £45 charge is applied. Cancelled order and waiting for refund.

Helpful staff

I saw some of their range in the sister company showroom (beautiful showroom, well worth a visit if you’re looking for a kitchen). I’ll be ordering my appliances online shortly - no delivery charge for my order already confirmed with staff on site.

Run a mile and keep running

Ordered a Bosch extractor hood, over £400. Only to be told that my postcode incurred an extra delivery fee, even though I am UK mainland and 2hrs from the store. Disgusting. I wish I had read these reviews before placing the order. Been promised a same day refund and if this doesn't happen, will be complaining to my credit card provider

Avoid at all costs, all these reviews are proof to stay away!

Please avoid. They are crooks and have hidden fees for everything. Their delivery drivers are extremely rude and passive aggressive. Their products are a hit and miss, don't be surprised if you get a used product even if you bought a "new" one. Customer service, in particular, Courtney has no shame. They don't pick up the customer service line and their emails are extremely unprofessional. There are dozens of other sites to purchase your appliances - these guys deserve to get liquidated - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

THE WORST "COMPANY". THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE WORST DELIVERY DRIVER. PLEASE LADIES AND GENTS, PLEASE, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. I'D RATHER PAY A LITTLE EXTRA AND AVOID THESE KIDS. THEY HAVE A "CUSTOMER SERVICE" NUMBER BUT ASK YOU TO EMAIL ANY QUERY OR CONCERN YOU HAVE. ABSOLUTE IDI*TS.

Do not purchase from this company

Ordered an appliance with free delivery and was emailed after they took the money to say that there would be an addition £42 charge for delivery with no good reason. Said if I replied I would receive a refund the next day. A month later and they still have my money. My bank can reverse the charge 31 days after payment. Appliance source insisted this was my banks error. I say they are corrupt. Do not use

Beware additional delivery charges

Ordered from their web-site, which of course had access to the value of the order as well as where it was to be delivered to. £0.00 delivery charge applied at checkout. Received an email an hour later asking for £50.00 delivery charge. I've cancelled the order.

Thank you for your reply regarding delivery...where you state all companies charge for delivery...Well when I purchased a dish washer earlier this year from a different company they never charged delivery and most companies with a purchase of over £300 waiver the charge...kind regards.

Items not available for delivery

Ordered a Bosch oven and microwave in November, when ordering I was told the items wouldn’t be delivered until 7th January which I was ok with. 27th January came still no items contacted appliance source to be told it’s going to be another “few month” before they come in. Requested a refund which was issued within a few days.

NO FREE DELIVERY

Made an order for a kitchen extractor hood, with FREE delivery.
Paid, emails etc., all standard stuff.
The next day my order is updated by email. Things are going smoothly. Then the email says, my postcode is not in their free delivery threshold and I have to pay a £55 delivery charge. I live in S. Wales, not the Shetland Islands.
Absolute scam. They make you think you get free delivery then ask for payment after. I've no doubt the tactic here is, most will just pay it just to save looking elsewhere for a replacement.
This seems to be a common tactic with this company, having read the reviews, after.
Now I have to wait for my refund. Strangely they didn’t wait when they took my money.

Tried to purchase wine cooler

Tried to purchase wine cooler, on first attempt the page took all
My details, I then imputed my bank details, the page disappeared! Leaving me not knowing if the order went through or not! Needing the cooler by next week as I have builders in to refit my kitchen, I rang my bank, they stated that nothing was pending payment, I rang appliance direct, only to be directed here there and everywhere as it wanted me to input order number of which I of course did not have, as I was concerned that I had given all
My details I rang again and was able to actually speak with someone, John, who was extremely helpful and ordered the item whilst I was on the phone!! Yep.. that should have been a good experience , but that was not the end, I then later that day realised I had incurred £11.59 in call charges trying to sort the wine cooler.
I am in the process of getting the costs refunded but of course that’s 10 working days!!
Come on appliance direct.. sort your call centre numbers.. and stop charging the earth! Also look at your website to include direction of you don’t have an order number as in my case!!! Amd the final.. I got the confirmation of 2 wine coolers on order.. so 2 order numbers! And now having to cancel one!!! Argh.. pass me the wine!🍷

Terrible experience - avoid

Stock online shows as available, they confirm the same via telephone checks and very happily take payment, within 24 hours the stock magically isnt available and your refund is nowhere as near as spritely as the manner they take your money

Really good service from this company

Really good service from this company. Courtneys customer skills were refreshing keeping me updated throughout my order responding quickly and efficiently which has not been the case in my experience with other companies . You are a credit to your employer

fridge freezer stopped working after 11 weeks…

Bought fridge freezer which stopped working after 11 weeks. Was advised to call manufacturer. Didn't get any help in terms of replacement or refund, advised to contact the seller. When I did I was told I would get an email within 72 hours. Not happened. Customer service were quite nonchalant about the situation.

Beware the ‘FREE’ delivery

They supplied my Bosch hob promptly and at a good price…..but the transaction was spoilt by the underhanded manner in which the ‘free delivery’ was changed to a charge of £25. There is a clause in their conditions of sale that allows them to withdraw, without prior notice, any postcode from their list of free delivery! The demand for delivery charge can be anything up to £42. The invoice for the sale will state free delivery but after this is issued they insist on a subsequent charge for delivery to be agreed or if not then cancellation of the order. No receipt is issued for this and you know that this is a cheap con. At the new total cost they are no longer competitive with companies that offer an honest free delivery. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth and I won’t use them again on principle.
